OUR MISSION: SAVING DOGS IN –40 UP NORTH This week, I drove six hours up north and spent seven hours outside in –40, rescuing dogs who would not have survived another night. I went up planning to take four. I came home with sixteen. The truth is heartbreaking: We didn’t even scrape the surface. There are still over 100 dogs waiting in deadly temperatures — freezing, starving, and hanging onto life by a thread. These dogs are everywhere. They lift their frozen paws off the ground to try to find relief from the cold. They hide in sheds, under broken vehicles, in the bush… anywhere they can escape the wind. No animal deserves to live like this, and they cannot survive the winter without help. With your support, I can provide shelter for these rescued dogs, giving them warmth and safety through the harsh winter. Every donation goes directly to building and maintaining safe spaces for these animals, ensuring they have a chance at a better life. Please consider donating or sharing this fundraiser to help save more dogs from the cold. Your kindness and generosity can make all the difference.
I had a healthy pregnancy. I ate well, attended every appointment, and did everything I was supposed to do. Nothing prepared us for what happened after our son was born. Within hours of his birth, we were told something was terribly wrong. He was struggling to breathe, and doctors soon diagnosed him with a severe congenital heart defect: Tetralogy of Fallot with an absent pulmonary valve. Our world stopped. Since that day, our lives have been a whirlwind of hospital visits, consultations, and sleepless nights. Our son is a fighter, but now he faces his biggest challenge yet: he needs a heart replacement. The journey ahead is daunting, and the costs are overwhelming. Between surgery, ongoing medical care, and the time we must take away from work to be by his side, our family is stretched thin. We are reaching out to our community for help. Your support—whether through a donation, sharing our story, or simply sending words of encouragement—means everything to us. Together, we can give our son the chance to grow up healthy and strong. Thank you for standing with us in this fight for his heart.

Aylin is only 12 years old, but she has already been fighting a battle no child should ever have to face. For the past three years, Aylin has been bravely battling leukemia. KLast year, ishe underwent a transplant in hopes of finally being cancer-free, but right now, things are not going as planned. She continues to need ongoing medical care, medications, hospital visits, and the possibility of future treatments. Despite everything she’s going through, Aylin’s heart is still full of hope. To help pay for her cancer treatment, Aylin and her mother sell food and small items on the streets, including during the holidays—doing whatever they can just to survive and keep her treatment going. No child fighting cancer should have to worry about money, groceries, or how they’ll get to the hospital… but that is Aylin’s reality. Funds raised will be used for Aylin’s ongoing medical care, medications, hospital visits, and daily living expenses while she continues her treatment. Your support will help ease the financial burden on her family and give Aylin the chance to focus on her recovery. Please help support Aylin and her family during this difficult time.
Adamaris is a bright and courageous 12-year-old who has been bravely battling cancer for the past year. Despite facing stage 4 cancer, she continues to inspire everyone around her with her strength and positivity. Her journey has been incredibly challenging, not only for her but for her entire family. The countless hospital visits and treatments have taken a toll, and her father lost his job as he devoted his time and resources to caring for Adamaris. The family’s dream is to secure additional funds for Adamaris’s ongoing cancer treatment, which is essential for her recovery and well-being. They also hope to create lasting memories by going on a family vacation—a chance to find joy and togetherness during such a difficult time. Additionally, they wish to start a small business that could provide steady income to help cover the costs of Adamaris’s care and support the family’s future. If you feel moved to help, your support would mean the world to Adamaris and her loved ones. Every contribution, no matter the size, brings hope and relief to a family facing unimaginable challenges. Thank you for considering a donation and for standing with Adamaris in her fight against cancer.
Leonardo is a brave young soul who has been fighting cancer for three long years. After countless hospital visits, treatments, and moments of hope, his family just received devastating news: the tumor has spread across his heart and chest. Despite everything, Leonardo continues to fight with strength far beyond his years. Right now, his family is struggling just to keep going. They live hours away from the hospital where Leonardo receives treatment and rely on public transportation to get there—long, exhausting journeys that take a physical and emotional toll on a child already battling so much. Something as simple as getting to the hospital has become a daily struggle. They are now selling tacos on the street to pay for the treatments. Their greatest hopes are simple but life-changing: to afford Leonardo’s ongoing cancer treatments, to have a reliable car so he can get to the hospital safely and on time, and to focus on healing instead of worrying about survival. No family should have to choose between transportation and treatment. No child should have to fight cancer while worrying about how they’ll even reach the hospital. Every donation—no matter the size—will go directly toward medical treatments and related expenses, transportation needs for hospital visits, and supporting Leonardo and his family during this critical time. If you can’t donate, please share Leonardo’s story. Awareness saves lives too. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for helping Leonardo keep fighting.
Hi, my name is Cindy and I am fundraising for our dear friend Eluno and her husband Ifesinachi Arinze. It is incredibly difficult to find the words to describe what this family is going through, but we are sharing their story in the hope that compassion and love will carry them through this unimaginable time. Our dear friend has lived with sickle cell anemia her entire life. She has faced pain, hospital visits, and uncertainty with remarkable courage. Her husband came to Canada on a visitor’s visa to be by her side, to care for her, and to support her while awaiting the approval of his permanent residence application. Instead of finding stability, they were met with devastating news that turned their world upside down. Doctors discovered that her husband has been surviving with only 1% kidney function. Both of his kidneys are severely scarred, and without treatment, he cannot survive. He now depends on dialysis three times every week, a painful, exhausting process that keeps him alive day by day. Because of his immigration status, his treatment is not covered, and the medical bills are already in the thousands of dollars, with more piling up every week. His wife, a Customer care specialist, works tirelessly providing assistance to others, yet she is powerless to afford the care her own husband needs, while also managing her own serious health condition. Funds raised will go directly toward covering Ifesinachi’s dialysis treatments, ongoing medical bills, and essential living expenses for the family as they navigate this crisis. Please consider supporting Eluno and Ifesinachi as they face these overwhelming challenges. Your kindness and generosity can make a life-changing difference for this family.
Marina Likhovid is a young woman from Ukraine who has faced more challenges than most. Growing up as an orphan in an orphanage, she learned to be strong and resilient. After getting married, Marina hoped for a brighter future, but her life took a difficult turn when her husband was taken to war and is now missing in action. Just a few days ago, Marina gave birth to a premature baby girl. The baby is currently in the hospital, relying on a ventilator to breathe. At this most difficult time, Marina finds herself almost completely alone, without the support or resources she desperately needs. She is doing everything she can for her newborn, but the challenges are overwhelming. Right now, Marina and her baby are in urgent need of clothing and essential items, diapers, medication for both the baby and for Marina's recovery, and financial assistance for rent. Your support can help provide these necessities and give Marina hope during this critical period. If you feel moved to help, please join me in supporting Marina and her newborn. Together, we can make a real difference in their lives.
Hello, my name is Deonte. I was born with spastic cerebral palsy, and life has always been challenging for me. Recently, things have become even more difficult because my uncle is kicking me out of the house where I stay. I am facing the real possibility of having nowhere to go, and with my disability, I know I cannot make it on the streets. I am scared and hurting, but I still have hope that kind people will care. I am raising money so I can buy a home with cash. Having a safe place to call my own would give me peace and stability for the first time in my life. I would no longer have to worry about being put out or facing homelessness. Any funds raised will go towards purchasing a home and covering related expenses, helping me build a future where I can feel secure and independent. Please, if you can, help me. Every donation, no matter the size, means the world to me. Your support will help me fight to not be homeless and give me a chance at a better life. Thank you for reading my story and for any help you can offer.
