I had a healthy pregnancy. I ate well, attended every appointment, and did everything I was supposed to do. Nothing prepared us for what happened after our son was born. Within hours of his birth, we were told something was terribly wrong. He was struggling to breathe, and doctors soon diagnosed him with a severe congenital heart defect: Tetralogy of Fallot with an absent pulmonary valve. Our world stopped.

Since that day, our lives have been a whirlwind of hospital visits, consultations, and sleepless nights. Our son is a fighter, but now he faces his biggest challenge yet: he needs a heart replacement. The journey ahead is daunting, and the costs are overwhelming. Between surgery, ongoing medical care, and the time we must take away from work to be by his side, our family is stretched thin.
