I am a kidney transplantee of 14 years this October, and every month I go to Emory Hospital for an infusion treatment of the drug Belatacept, which is not available in pill form. My health insurance covers most of these treatments, but they are very expensive, and I currently owe $8,247 that has gone into collections. This debt is weighing heavily on me, and I need help to continue receiving the treatments that keep me alive.

 Last August, my GM vehicle malfunctioned—suddenly accelerating without me pressing the gas pedal, and the brakes failed. I was transporting a painting contractor at the time, and we went through four lanes of traffic, up onto the curb at Little Five Points in Atlanta, and nearly into pedestrians and storefronts. By the grace of God, I managed to turn the vehicle around in a small fenced-in construction area and stop at two large trash containers. Both my passenger and I suffered back injuries, but thankfully no one else was hurt. Since then, I have relied on Uber, Lyft, and medical transportation for all my travel needs, and I need $3,500 for transportation until the legal case is settled.

 Paying off this medical debt will allow me to continue with my monthly infusion treatments that are necessary to stay alive. Transportation assistance will help me get to my treatments, attend church on Sundays again, and visit my family locally. Erik was admitted to New York Presbyterian Hospital in Brooklyn at the beginning of July. He has undergone MRI’s, numerous tests, and two spinal taps. As of right now, the diagnosis is most likely a parasite or bacterial infection that has affected the brainstem. This can cause stroke-like systems, actual strokes, cysts in the brain, and severe cognitive and motor skill malfunctions.

<div>Erik’s full-time job is being a content creator/influencer. He uses his voice to bring laughter, love, positivity, encouragement to his followers. He also sheds light on darker issues in the world. His work has been, and always will be priceless.

Erik has a long road of recovery ahead of him. Therefore, he will be out of work for the foreseeable future.

Once that happens he will die and he has two young boys. Noah, age 1, and Eli, who’s age 5. It’s been a painful and expensive battle, and I’m not just going to watch my twin die. We have done and will do whatever it takes. So we’re asking for help to help with the medical bills also in case the worst happens. I don’t understand why this is happening and why even with all the doctor’s efforts, nothing seems to be working. I will not give up on him or his kids. Twin has Stage 4 Metastatic Colon Cancer all over

In October 2017, the young Gill brothers wanted more allowance to purchase video games.  Mama and Dad Gill told them that they had maxed out their toy allowance and to either “get a job or start a business” if they wanted more money. They decided to start a business.<br /><img src="https://d2g8igdw686xgo.cloudfront.net/40635296_156315943221181_r.jpeg" alt="40635296_156315943221181_r.jpeg" width="100%" /> <br />So the brothers started experimenting with candles during their homeschool science lessons.  They ended up making candles, room sprays, diffuser oils, bath bombs, and soaps!  They started selling candles at their baseball and football games. Sales were good so they took a chance and rented a booth at their first vending event, the NPR All Crafts Considered Holiday fair.  They nearly sold out of all of their candles! They decided to make it a full-fledged business, becoming known as The Candle Boys in the process.<br /><img src="https://d2g8igdw686xgo.cloudfront.net/40635296_1563160609597220_r.jpeg" alt="40635296_1563160609597220_r.jpeg" width="100%" /><br />They have sold over 10,000 products in almost 2 years.  During that time, they have also been given a Role Model Community Service Award, 2019 DC Chamber of Commerce Youth Entrepreneur of the Year, Youth Excel Awards Finalist, and Best of DC 2019 (Eco-Friendly Handmade Product and Handmade Home Decor). They have earned more than enough money for toys and video games, but that is not the only reason they decided to go into business.  From the start, they pledged to give 10% of their profits to those in need, particularly those transitioning from homelessness.  Every month, the boys donate to multiple Washington, DC area organizations that assist people experiencing homelessness and/or transitioning from homelessness. With every product sold, more resources are made available for the clients of these organizations.<br /><br /><img src="https://d2g8igdw686xgo.cloudfront.net/40635296_1563160925388630_r.jpeg" alt="40635296_1563160925388630_r.jpeg" width="100%" media_type="3" /><br />Now, the boys want to have a Candle Truck and have a candle store on wheels.  Not only will they be able to easily vend from event to event with their mobile candle store, but they also plan to use it to visit the area homeless organizations to coordinate skills training for those transitioning from homelessness.  The brothers want to help others create jobs for themselves---just like the brothers did!  Ryan believes that they must the community because the community has helped them.  Collin feels that great that he is able to do more than just want to help---he can actually help.  Austin is satisfied knowing that he can help someone find a new home, provide food, and help with job training.<br /><br /><img src="https://d2g8igdw686xgo.cloudfront.net/40635296_1563160985784433_r.jpeg" alt="40635296_1563160985784433_r.jpeg" width="100%" media_type="3" /><br />The Gill Brothers now have Frerés Branchiaux products in more than 30 stores and are set to be sold online with Macy's in the fall.  They need immediate resources to scale their company up to meet this demand. And in the interim, they have begun setting up the process to interview people transitioning from homelessness.<br /><br />New donations will go toward purchasing supplies for new purchase orders, scouting and purchasing a mobile merchandising truck, and outfitting the truck to be a mobile candle truck.<br /><br />Collin, Ryan, and Austin’s dream is to have a nationwide presence and employ hundreds of more people. It may sound hard, but the boys have persistence, dedication, and great support from their parents family, and friends. A Candle Truck for The Candle Boys

This is hard reliving this. Weeks of treatments, shots, and meds, due to BRCA 2 gene test, which still shows positive signs of cancer. Ovarian, foot, now melanoma. Doctors are keeping a close watch on my pancreas and I’m being treated for low iron. With very little to no income I still have doctor visits, medication cost, and other procedures I have to get done. My Faith in God will Never waver. I have small mass on left lung, and left upper part of my spine. I'm truly Blessed to still be Alive . Anything that you can donate will definitely be a help. I greatly appreciate it!

Little do people know that she is my best friend and my support dog for my panic disorder, and she is loosing her sight. <br /><br />Her cataracts are growing bigger and bigger and the more time passes by, the worse it will get and possibly go completely blind.  Babygirl can only find me through her scent now and has 10% of her eyesight at this time. I have gotten a quote for her eye surgery and if she can get it through this go fund me page, this would give her 70 % of her eyesight back! 'Finding Norm(al)' the web series

The first meeting of Women Healing Women was held in the Atlanta, GA living room of founder Imani Evans in 2004. Many venues in the Little Five Points community served as meeting places for the organization after its founding, from churches to bookstores to community centers. We are now asking for help to rebuild the organization itself, to find a new home where survivors can come together to heal and to thrive.<br /><br />As a survivor herself, eliminating domestic violence and empowering women and young girls, especially those in marginalized communities, has been a lifetime goal for Imani Evans. “Freedom From 4 Walls” is a non-profit organization for the millions who deal with Depression, Panic Disorder, and Agoraphobia - the many who are imprisoned by their own fear of leaving their own home. We help to save lives.<br /><br />I have personally dealt with Agoraphobia since the age ot 13 years old. I could not leave my house for an entire year! I still deal with symptoms of Panic Disorder til this day and have to take steps on an everyday basis to manage them. Some days are good and some are unbearable. Today I let my darkest secret be known worldwide so that I may help others have a voice. Stand with me to build this organization and help save lives. and YOU are the one to make a difference. One life at a time.<br /><br />The money that is helped being raised by YOU will be going towards building a website, marketing, flyers, tv shows, documentaries, camera crew, buliding a powerful staff, office space, computers, etc.<br /><br />There are 2 kinds of people that are targeted.<br /><br />#1. THE INSIDERS:<br />These are the people that cannot leave their homes that are debilated by their own fear and leaves them imprisoned. We will be providing them a website that they can click on what their interest is. They type in the zip code of what city that they are located in. And someone from that zip code will come and pay a visit with the many options that they are interested in. This website will also provide online counceling free of charge and a support team when they need someone to talk to while they are dealing with their depression or Panic Disorder.<br /><br />#2 THE FREEDOM TEAM:<br />This company provides an amazing list of everyday people that come from all backgrounds of life and all ages. These powerful and passionate people who generously give their time are called ‘THE FREEDOM TEAM”. They are volunteers that bring the world into the homes of these people are debilitated.<br /><br />Free of charge, our Freedom Team provides in increments of 15 to 30 to 45 to 60 min visits. These are just a few of what we bring into their homes.<br />A. Counseling and Therapy<br />B. One on One art and sketching sessions to express yourself<br />C. A Dog and their owner to come and visit<br />D. A simple source of communication<br />E. Planting flowers in their backyard<br />F. Music Lessons of any kind<br />G. Playing Cards<br />H. Playing Video Games.<br />The intention is to bring peace of mind even if it for a short period of time spent in one's home because of the fact that they cannot go outside. We are providing Freedom from their 4 walls, we bring the world to them.
