I am in disbelief that his journey here has been cut short, before the age of 40. It was a shock to all of us. Stanley was a loving son, brother, and friend whose amazing spirit has made a positive impact on anyone who has had the opportunity to meet him. I can’t imagine trying to summarize his life into just words but if you knew him, you just knew his heart. From fitness to modeling to acting to traveling to music, he was so much more to so many people. He was the epitome of open-heartedness, wisdom, innocence, trust, simplicity and joyful wonder driven to help others. Stanley brought a warmth to wherever he was and will be greatly be missed by all who knew him.

I created this account in order to complete my studies and so that I can save my family: My mother suffers from chronic diseases and her health is very weak, It needs special care and treatment continuously , but because of the war, we cannot take care of her properly because of the difficult situation, the lack of the necessary medicines, and also the lack of money.

<div>We have all witnessed the magical work of Erik Dillard, also known as the “world’s Aunty, Imani Vanzap” on TikTok and Instagram. Through Imani, Erik has put out joy, love and positivity into the world, helping brighten the lives of hundreds of thousands of people. Erik and I have grown to be close friends over the last several years. We have created content together as social media influencers. I even had this fantastic human as the Emcee for my Book Tour launch party in New York City. They were beyond vibrant and had glowing reviews for weeks that followed.

<div>A few weeks ago Erik went to bed perfectly fine. However, when he woke up, life was not the same. He was unable to communicate, and had severely impaired motor skills. Erik was admitted to New York Presbyterian Hospital in Brooklyn at the beginning of July. He has undergone MRI’s, numerous tests, and two spinal taps. As of right now, the diagnosis is most likely a parasite or bacterial infection that has affected the brainstem. This can cause stroke-like systems, actual strokes, cysts in the brain, and severe cognitive and motor skill malfunctions.

<div>Erik’s full-time job is being a content creator/influencer. He uses his voice to bring laughter, love, positivity, encouragement to his followers. He also sheds light on darker issues in the world. His work has been, and always will be priceless.

<div>This is where this fundraiser comes into play. As we all know, the doctors, nurses, and caregivers are fantastic at their jobs. However, the US healthcare system at large falls short in many ways. While Erik does have health insurance, he will still be responsible for the vast majority of the medical bills from his long inpatient stay in the hospital, testing, treatment, medications, and rehabilitation amongst other expenses. Erik has a long road of recovery ahead of him. Therefore, he will be out of work for the foreseeable future.

He used to spend his days teaching and training the students on different sports topics. In his free time, Bahaa used to make bike rides with his friends roaming the streets of Gaza from south to north and from east to west. Its's so difficult now to practice none of them. His college , where he used to work in, turned into a shelter! We were there for more than 3 months during our displacement journey. With a group of voluntary animators, he tried to spread joy and happiness between the kids in the shelter through performing psychological and entertainment support activities. It did not last so long because the Israeli soldiers bombed the shelter and forced us to evacuate the place on foot and in front of their eyes and hateful looks!

Once that happens he will die and he has two young boys. Noah, age 1, and Eli, who’s age 5. It’s been a painful and expensive battle, and I’m not just going to watch my twin die. We have done and will do whatever it takes. So we’re asking for help to help with the medical bills also in case the worst happens. I don’t understand why this is happening and why even with all the doctor’s efforts, nothing seems to be working. I will not give up on him or his kids. In October 2017, the young Gill brothers wanted more allowance to purchase video games.  Mama and Dad Gill told them that they had maxed out their toy allowance and to either “get a job or start a business” if they wanted more money. They decided to start a business.<br /><img src="https://d2g8igdw686xgo.cloudfront.net/40635296_156315943221181_r.jpeg" alt="40635296_156315943221181_r.jpeg" width="100%" /> <br />So the brothers started experimenting with candles during their homeschool science lessons.  They ended up making candles, room sprays, diffuser oils, bath bombs, and soaps!  They started selling candles at their baseball and football games. Sales were good so they took a chance and rented a booth at their first vending event, the NPR All Crafts Considered Holiday fair.  They nearly sold out of all of their candles! They decided to make it a full-fledged business, becoming known as The Candle Boys in the process.<br /><img src="https://d2g8igdw686xgo.cloudfront.net/40635296_1563160609597220_r.jpeg" alt="40635296_1563160609597220_r.jpeg" width="100%" /><br />They have sold over 10,000 products in almost 2 years.  During that time, they have also been given a Role Model Community Service Award, 2019 DC Chamber of Commerce Youth Entrepreneur of the Year, Youth Excel Awards Finalist, and Best of DC 2019 (Eco-Friendly Handmade Product and Handmade Home Decor). They have earned more than enough money for toys and video games, but that is not the only reason they decided to go into business.  From the start, they pledged to give 10% of their profits to those in need, particularly those transitioning from homelessness.  Every month, the boys donate to multiple Washington, DC area organizations that assist people experiencing homelessness and/or transitioning from homelessness. With every product sold, more resources are made available for the clients of these organizations.<br /><br /><img src="https://d2g8igdw686xgo.cloudfront.net/40635296_1563160925388630_r.jpeg" alt="40635296_1563160925388630_r.jpeg" width="100%" media_type="3" /><br />Now, the boys want to have a Candle Truck and have a candle store on wheels.  Not only will they be able to easily vend from event to event with their mobile candle store, but they also plan to use it to visit the area homeless organizations to coordinate skills training for those transitioning from homelessness.  The brothers want to help others create jobs for themselves---just like the brothers did!  Ryan believes that they must the community because the community has helped them.  Collin feels that great that he is able to do more than just want to help---he can actually help.  Austin is satisfied knowing that he can help someone find a new home, provide food, and help with job training.<br /><br /><img src="https://d2g8igdw686xgo.cloudfront.net/40635296_1563160985784433_r.jpeg" alt="40635296_1563160985784433_r.jpeg" width="100%" media_type="3" /><br />The Gill Brothers now have Frerés Branchiaux products in more than 30 stores and are set to be sold online with Macy's in the fall.  They need immediate resources to scale their company up to meet this demand. And in the interim, they have begun setting up the process to interview people transitioning from homelessness.<br /><br />New donations will go toward purchasing supplies for new purchase orders, scouting and purchasing a mobile merchandising truck, and outfitting the truck to be a mobile candle truck.<br /><br />Collin, Ryan, and Austin’s dream is to have a nationwide presence and employ hundreds of more people. This is hard reliving this. Weeks of treatments, shots, and meds, due to BRCA 2 gene test, which still shows positive signs of cancer. Ovarian, foot, now melanoma. Doctors are keeping a close watch on my pancreas and I’m being treated for low iron. With very little to no income I still have doctor visits, medication cost, and other procedures I have to get done. My Faith in God will Never waver. I have small mass on left lung, and left upper part of my spine. I'm truly Blessed to still be Alive . Anything that you can donate will definitely be a help. I greatly appreciate it!

Also she has performed and sung her birthday songs on stage and has also traveled everywhere.  Sometimes even being hidden in a travel bag :-). Little do people know that she is my best friend and my support dog for my panic disorder, and she is loosing her sight. <br /><br />Her cataracts are growing bigger and bigger and the more time passes by, the worse it will get and possibly go completely blind.  Babygirl can only find me through her scent now and has 10% of her eyesight at this time. I have gotten a quote for her eye surgery and if she can get it through this go fund me page, this would give her 70 % of her eyesight back! That in itself helps for me to deal with my panic disorder that she can see again. <br /><br />I can't express enough how much this would add to my life and hers . We thank you in advance. The first meeting of Women Healing Women was held in the Atlanta, GA living room of founder Imani Evans in 2004. Many venues in the Little Five Points community served as meeting places for the organization after its founding, from churches to bookstores to community centers. They are volunteers that bring the world into the homes of these people are debilitated.<br /><br />Free of charge, our Freedom Team provides in increments of 15 to 30 to 45 to 60 min visits.
