<div>It is with broken hearts that we share the sudden and unexpected passing of Craig Frost aka Frosty, a devoted father, grandfather, skilled self-employed carpenter, and loyal friend to many.

<div>Frosty touched so many lives through both his work and his passions. He was a proud member of the Scooter club   Ilkeston Britannia  and a valued VFM member, where he built lasting friendships and shared many happy memories.

<div>His sudden passing has left his son Nathan and daughter Emily and baby grandson Ezra , devastated and facing the unexpected burden of funeral costs and financial hardship during this heartbreaking time.

<div>We are asking for any support possible to help give Frosty the send-off he deserves and to ease some of the pressure on his family as they navigate

To try and kickstart my season and give me reason to get out to more events.

<div>It is just me and my sister, and at only 24, we never imagined we would be facing something like this so soon. We didn’t get the chance to say goodbye, and we are still trying to come to terms with losing him so suddenly.
</div>

<div>Our dad meant everything to us. He was our support, our guidance, and our constant in life. He was someone who was so kind to everyone and loved to play a prank! The love he gave us is something we will carry forever.
</div>

<div>We are now trying to arrange his funeral and wake, but as two young daughters navigating this on our own, the financial pressure is overwhelming. We want to give him the send-off he deserves: a chance to honour his life and allow family and friends to come together and say goodbye. (And he has a lot of friends!)

<div>Many lovely people have reached out to ask how they can help. There is no pressure at all but any contribution, no matter how small, would mean more to us than we can put into words. It will go directly towards the costs of bringing him back home from Nottingham, funeral and wake costs to accommodate everyone that wants to attend, as well as the unexpected costs that come with losing him so suddenly and tragically.

Help Us Give Our Dad the Farewell He Deserves

<div>As most people know, Nick was recently involved in a serious scooter accident on his way to Scarborough and is currently in a critical condition in hull royal infirmary ICU. This has come as a huge shock to all of us, and our focus right now is on being by his side and supporting him through his recovery.

<div>Nick was due to get married, he’s a loving son, brother, uncle, dad and fiancé.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>As you can imagine, this situation has brought unexpected challenges for Nick, one’s that he’s not even aware of right now.
</div>

<div>As you know Nick is self employed, most of you reading this will have had work done by him. We know how good he is at what he does, but we don’t know if he’ll get back to doing what he did, It’s too early to say. I know his customers, friends and family would want to make sure he has everything he needs to recover as comfortably as possible.

Help Nick fallows after his accident

<div>Hello everyone , I'm Doug . I guess the vast majority of people seeing this will have heard of the tragic event that happened at the weekend to my friend Bryn Rudkin who was involved in an accident on his way to The Mammoth Parts Fair on his scooter on Sunday where he sadly lost his life .
</div>
<div>The family have contacted me , and i'm pleased they have . The family are going through a lot at the moment ,  so to try and help out at this time i've set this up to try and take the financial burden of funeral costs off them .
</div>
<div>Once Bryn's finances have been sorted the family have said they will donate everything they have received to a charity which I have suggested to be the Air Ambulance who attended Bryn at the scene .
</div>
<div>All donations will be gratefully received and ease the burden on the family at this awful time .

Bryn Rudkin Funeral

<div>Many of you will know and remember our good friend, Dave Gould.

<div>Dave passed away in January 2024 after a battle with cancer. One thing Dave enjoyed in the last few years of his life was walking and especially walking the dogs. His favourite place was a local spot called The Outwoods.
</div>

<div>In his last few weeks, Dave asked for a bench to be placed on the hill in his memory.
</div>

<div>Scooterists are great at sticking together and helping out where possible. Enter eight middle-aged, mostly unfit, never-seen-a-hill drinking buddies. These lads decided to make sure Dave got his bench by doing a sponsored walk. Not just any walk though, this idea - dreamt up in one of Dave's favourite pubs - The Old English Gentleman or ‘OEG’ - is an epic 3-peaks challenge.

<div><strong>Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike &amp; Snowdon</strong>
</div>
<div>The lads, guided by fellow Blazing Glory club member (and mountain leader) Johnny Walker, plus scooterist (and mountain leader) Steve Begley will be taking on the 3 highest peaks in Scotland, England and Wales over the course of a weekend in August. This is a huge challenge both mentally and physically, especially for the lads who didn't even own a pair of boots until a few weeks ago! Not only will they be walking the 3 highest mountains but they'll also have lots of time travelling between them in a cosy minibus. Adey will be driving the minibus and waiting around for hours and hours whilst the others are walking.

<div>Doing one mountain is a challenge for a fairly fit person, doing 3 for eight unfit pub-loving chaps is a proper test of mind over matter.

<div>We recently lost one of our larger than life characters, somebody who was part of our scootering family and part of many other people's lives from her time at the Post Office. She was dear to the hearts of many and had hundreds of best friends!
</div>

<div>Rachel Bradshaw was one of us and somebody, many of us, have known for the best part of 30 years (or more). Rachel was a girl surrounded by laughter, wine, fags and chaos, and that chaos has unsurprisingly carried over into her untimely death.
</div>

<div>Since she passed away at her home in Chesterfield recently, we've been flooded with offers of help from other friends, scooter clubs and individuals and we thank you for your kindness, very humbling. Hopefully, anybody who wants to donate can do so through this page. All funds will go directly towards paying for her funeral and a celebration of her life to be held afterwards.
