On November 9th, my life changed forever when an electrical fire tore through our home. In a matter of moments, everything my family and I had built was gone. My mother and I lost all of our belongings, and my three children were forced to leave behind the life they knew. In the chaos, I made the split-second decision to save our three pets from the flames, risking my own safety. I collapsed from smoke inhalation and spent five days in the ICU, fighting to recover so I could be there for my kids. Now, as Christmas approaches, the weight of what we’ve lost feels heavier than ever. We are without a home, a car, and even the basic necessities like clothes and furniture. I am doing my best to stay strong for my children, but the emotional and financial toll is overwhelming. I am reaching out for help because I want to give my kids a sense of stability and hope again. On November 9th of this year, I had a nightmare. I woke up to an electrical fire in my attic. I have lost everything, my mother has lost everything. My three children had to be separated from what they were used to and totally uprooted. I ran back into the house to rescue the three animals because if the authorities had their way, they would have let them burn. But I had gotten everyone else out; I couldn't leave them in there. Well, in doing that, I collapsed from heat and smoke inhalation. I was immediately put on life support and was airlifted to the hospital where I was in ICU for 5 days. And now, when I get out, with it being right here at Christmas, I'm having a real hard time with my depression, basically begging for help. I am a born-again Christian and renounced my old ways and have been living for the Lord, and I feel crabby because the devil is telling me it's so easy to go back to the old me, and my kids would be having a good with a place to call home instead of what's going on. So if anyone has anything to please help. We also need a new car; the fire got so hot it destroyed it. Please and thank you... Merry Christmas, God bless.
