My name is Andrea Brown from Lake Charles, LA. I am raising funds for my husband, Patrick (64), who is facing a major 3-in-1 foot surgery.
Hi everyone, I wanted to share a quick update on my journey to get the Pegasus XD carbon fiber power wheelchair. I have officially lowered the fundraising goal amount to make this vital milestone much more reachable! As you can see in the photo, the Pegasus XD is incredibly lightweight and will completely transform my daily mobility and independence. We are starting from scratch and haven't received any donations yet, so every single share, link click, or contribution will make a massive impact right now. Please help me get the momentum started by sharing this update!- These photos show the severe protrusion on the side of my foot. The bones are broken and require surgery to be reset, followed by a plate and screws to hold them in place. The surgeon will also remove the damaged cartilage and use a stimulant to help new cartilage grow back quickly.Times are tough for everyone right now, but if you are in a position to help, any donation or support would mean the world to me.
