I've witnessed the heartbreaking impact of wildfires on friends and family who have lost their homes, most recently in the Altadena LA fires only a year ago. They are still rebuilding after losing everything. Disasters can overwhelm even the most prepared responders, and that's why I am passionate about this campaign. We have the power to change the narrative by supporting Watch Duty, a nonprofit that uses technology to empower people to help each other in times of crisis. They provide fast, real-time wildfire alerts when every second counts. The funds we raise will support 24/7 incident monitoring, clearer updates as conditions evolve, and essential tools for firefighters, first responders, and our communities. By expanding coverage to more at-risk areas and ensuring alerts remain free and accessible, we can help people act sooner and stay safer. Together, we can make a difference for those in need. Help Provide Participant Incentives for Upstar Wednesdays at Sunset Youth Services Every Wednesday, Sunset Youth Services (SYS) opens up their doors for Upstar Wednesdays, as an intentional space where youth and young adults can create music, make art, develop job skills, and simply be in community with each other and SYS staff members. To encourage their participation and help them choose safe, supportive spaces over the streets, SYS provides financial incentives ranging from $25–$100 depending on the activity or project. Your donation will directly fund those incentives. I just joined the board of SYS this past year and am deeply committed to their mission of transforming youth. Music and arts have been near and dear to my heart and love the work SYS is doing locally in San Francisco. Would you join me in contributing to their work? Help me reach my goal of $5,000.
