I've witnessed the heartbreaking impact of wildfires on friends and family who have lost their homes, most recently in the Altadena LA fires only a year ago. They are still rebuilding after losing everything. Disasters can overwhelm even the most prepared responders, and that's why I am passionate about this campaign. We have the power to change the narrative by supporting Watch Duty, a nonprofit that uses technology to empower people to help each other in times of crisis. They provide fast, real-time wildfire alerts when every second counts. The funds we raise will support 24/7 incident monitoring, clearer updates as conditions evolve, and essential tools for firefighters, first responders, and our communities.
