<div>On July 10th, Allie’s family lost nearly everything in the historic Black River flood.

<div>As the water rose faster than anyone expected, and water started to enter their home, they had to be rescued from the roof of their home by emergency responders. By God’s grace, every member of their family (and family friends who were staying overnight) made it out safely.
</div>

<div>While they’re incredibly thankful that the house may be salvageable, they still don’t know the full extent of the damage underneath the home or whether it will ultimately be safe to live in. Even if the house can be saved, the flood destroyed so much of what the family relies on every day.
</div>

<div>Allie’s parents live on the same property and also suffered a lot of damages.
</div>

<div>Collectively, lost their side-by-side, lawn mowers, children’s bike and trampoline, a chicken coop full of chickens, a shed, 7 goats, a chest freezer and refrigerator full of meat. Barns need foundation repairs, tractors may need replaced, and their garden was decimated. At least two vehicles are expected to be a total loss. The cleanup and recovery will be a long road, and many expenses aren’t covered or are still unknown.

<div>My daughter Mary was recently involved in a head-on collision. She suffered multiple injuries to her back, stomach, and foot, and her recovery journey will be long and challenging. The accident has changed our lives in an instant, and Mary now faces months of rehabilitation to regain her strength and independence.

Community Support for Martin and Brandy's Family

We are the Meyers ʻohana—my husband grew up here on the North Shore and serves our community as a firefighter. We have two young boys, Mason (4) and Liam (2.5), who are the heart of our world. Our home on Kukea Circle in Waialua was impacted by the recent flooding. We are incredibly grateful to be safe, but the downstairs portion of our home took on several feet of water. This affected our boys’ playroom, office area, bathroom, carport/patio, and yard. We’ve had to throw away most of the boys’ toys and many of the items that made our home feel like home.

 We are doing everything we can to clean up and rebuild, with the hope of restoring a sense of normalcy for our boys as quickly as possible. At the same time, our hearts are with so many others in our community who were impacted even more deeply. Our goal is to ease the immediate burden not just for our family, but for others in our community navigating this hardship alongside us. Donations will go toward helping displaced families secure temporary housing, find stable accommodations, and cover essential everyday expenses during this incredibly difficult time. We have close friends and families who have lost everything, and we are committed to continuing to share and disperse funds directly to those most in need—just as we have already been doing.

The Meyers ʻOhana Flood Recovery

<div>Hi! I'll start with this. We are ruined and in love, with this man- Jesus. He has radically changed our lives and has given us this heart cry to build a resting place for Him to dwell among. This prayer/worship house will allow people in San Antonio to come and worship and pray at different times throughout the day from Monday - Friday and even gathering times on Saturdays/Sundays. This prayer house will be a place of rest and encounter with the Lord. We currently have a place that we are going to rent out to make this prayer house possible, but it comes with some finances which we are raising in order to bless the owners of the building and those who are coming to experience the prayer house. People can come and go as they please to sit and be in the presence of the Lord! And you may be asking, why is this so important? What's the difference between having church service or praying/worshiping at home? Well, biblically we see that David tapped into something in the old testament where He understood the heart cry and desire of having 24/7 worship and prayer centered around the presence of God. And although we know Jesus has become this new resting place and has us (his people) a walking prayer house, there is something special and intimate when dedicating a place for people to come and be with one another in worship and prayer all centered towards God. Time after time we have been a part of church services and worship nights where prayer and worship only last for a few hours and then we wait until the next week to experience more of it. Our goal and mission is to establish a place where prayer/worship happens throughout the week so that people can come to rest and receive from the Lord. We believe strongly that this will mark San Antonio and bless the people there. Help/partner with us as we use these finances to rent out the space, and bless those who come that need a financial break through, mission supplies, and more.
