Help Me Save My Great-Grandmother’s House My name is Aiden, and I’ve been working towards purchasing my great-grandmother’s house, a place full of family memories that I want to keep in our family. I had a contract to buy it, and even put down a payment, but the seller backed out at the last minute. Unfortunately, I had to spend that down payment on legal fees to try to enforce the contract, and now I’m left without the funds to complete the purchase. Jerry signed a contract for me to purchase my home and later denied me when I qualified through my lender. I filed a lawsuit against him and had to use my down payment to cover attorney fees and rent and am no longer able to pay for my down payment and closing costs.
