In Gaza, it's not just hunger, illness, and fear; it means actual death.

The situation in Gaza has become unbearable due to hunger, thirst, displacement, and diseases.

<div>Since last October, due to the difficult conditions in Gaza, we have evacuated our homes in northern Gaza and my family has been displaced 7 times. Currently, we live in a tent in Nusseirat with my grandfather, aunt, and her orphaned children, unfortunately under extremely poor humanitarian conditions: shortages of food, water, and sanitation facilities. Living in a thin plastic tent in harsh weather, we lack even the basic necessities of life.

<div>The past months have been filled with hell and terror. The situation has continued, constantly endangering our mental health and lives. We have reached a point where there is no hope left in Gaza, as if we are waiting for death. Even if a solution is reached, the extensive damage in Gaza in all its forms cannot be quickly repaired.

<div>To cross the border between Gaza and Egypt at Rafah, our names must be on the crossing list (a paid permit). Egyptian coordinators demand between $7,000 and $8,000 per person to add our family names to the list at the border. They won't add our names until we can prove we have the money ready.

<div>Unfortunately, our home was completely destroyed and our belongings burned. My father's car was burned, our garden was destroyed. We lost our jobs and businesses. I received a video of the destruction, and my heart broke when I saw my family home demolished, especially my younger siblings who suffered psychologically after experiencing fear several times.

<div>Hi, my name is Eric Campbell. I’m 35 years old, a father to three beautiful daughters (ages 1, 2, and 11), and I’m facing the hardest battle of my life.

<div>I have polycystic kidney disease (PKD), a genetic condition that has led to kidney failure, putting a severe strain on my heart. In addition to PKD, I also have congestive heart failure, which makes this fight even tougher. I go to dialysis three times a week just to stay alive, but I need at least one new kidney to have a real chance at life. There’s no cure for PKD, and while treatments can slow its progression, my health is declining fast.

<div>My biggest fear is not for myself—it’s for my daughters. I want to be there to watch them grow up, to see them go to school, to walk them down the aisle someday. To teach them about life, love, and the Lord. But I’m scared that this disease will take me from them too soon.
</div>
<div><strong>A Family History of Heartbreak</strong>

<div>This disease has already claimed so much from me and my family. My father passed away from PKD when I was just 10 years old, and my older brother lost his life to it too. I know what it’s like to grow up without a father, to feel that emptiness and pain every single day. When I look at my girls’ faces, I can’t help but think about the future—they deserve a dad who’s there to hold their hands, wipe their tears, and cheer them on in every moment of their lives. I can’t let this disease take me from them like it took my dad from me. They are my reason to fight, my reason to keep hoping, and my reason to ask for your help.

<div>As a man, I’ve always prided myself on standing on my own two feet, working hard, and providing for my family. <div>Because of my health, I lost a stable job and now deliver food to provide for my family. But between hospital visits and dialysis, it’s hard to keep up. The stress of it all—on my body, my mind, and my spirit—is overwhelming. My daughters are my world, and I’m determined to be the best father I can be for them, but I need help.

Fundraiser for Pets Rescued from the Palisades Fire

<div>Hi, my name is Dave and I'm fundraising for a good friend of mine, Phyllis. In the early morning hours this past Mother's Day a fire broke out and swept through her home where she and her son reside. Her son woke up to discover the fire in progress and quickly woke his mother and helped her exit the burning home. He went back to save the 2 dogs but tragically, was overcome by smoke. On Mother's Day morning Phyllis had lost her son, her home and all her possessions as well as her 2 dogs. To complicate matters further she has a disability, having only one leg. Since Sunday she has been staying with a friend while she mourns the loss of her son. Insurance will cover the house but so many other expenses will be coming including final arrangements for her son.  I hope all who read this can contribute a little to ease this woman's pain and loss. It's terrible enough to lose your son but having to deal with the coming financial component will be overwhelming as well.   Thank you all for any assistance you can provide.

We all want to know why this happens to the best of us... </strong>In late 2019 my wife Jenny(in photo above) was diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer after experiencing pains in her abdomen. To our surprise it already had spread to the liver and many lymph nodes throughout her body. After many surgeries, scans and chemo treatments she is still battling this horrible disease. The chemo treatments have taken a major toll on her health. With hair and weight loss, neuropathy, constant pain along with many other side affects, this has affected her ability to do what she always loved to do, cut hair. We never knew what this disease was capable of until it struck us unexpectedly. I was hoping we wouldn't have to take this route but we know there are many wonderful people who want to show their love and support with us during our battle. We are truly thankful for our family, friends and strangers(our Angels) who have supported us on this long emotional and painful journey. We can't thank you enough for your support and you will forever be in our hearts. #cancersucks

NO MORE PAIN, NO MORE SUFFERING!

<div>Rory took a bad fall a couple of days ago and broke both sides of his right ankle. He is going into surgery today, (3/29/2023) to put some screws and a plate in the left side of his ankle.

<div>After surgery he will have to be off his ankle for a full 6 weeks, after that he can slowly begin putting pressure on it, but he won’t be able to return to work for 3months after surgery. 
</div>

<div>With Rory being off work for 3 months we also decided to sadly to postpone the wedding that was set to take place in September and the wedding celebration we were planning to do in Chicago. We are hoping to be married by late 2024.

Help pay for Rory’s surgery

<div>Hi, I'm Ash, fundraising to cover part of the emergency surgery costs for my dog, Kiki. She's a happy fun loving dog who is and always has been healthy.

<div>Kiki ended up in surgery because she had two bullae on her lungs (which can be compared to a blister) one popped releasing air into her chest. So much air was released that she nearly stopped breathing due to a lack of space for her lungs to expand. An emergency procedure had to take place in Sierra Vista and she was then transferred to Tucson where a second bulla was discovered. Surgery was required to remove this bulla so air can stay where it belongs..her lungs. The underlying cause of this is genetic and the vet related this growth occurring in dogs as rare as getting struck by lightning. Although the future can't be predicted future bullae growth is highly unlikely.

<div>This fundraiser is to cover part of her surgery and post-surgery costs. I have pet insurance but there is a limit to what is covered and how much they will cover.

Emergency Kiki Surgery Bills

Hello friends of Hide,<br /><br />On September 28th, my husband Hide suddenly had a heart attack while going to his first day of work after months of no work due to the coronavirus pandemic. It was 7AM in the morning when he called me telling me that his chest hurt and he was about to pass out. Luckily a security guard called an ambulance and he was delivered to a local hospital. Hide was immediately admitted to the ICU and fought for his life for a couple of days. The first two days he was recovering from the heart attack, but as soon as we thought he was okay, his condition became worse. Early in the morning, he suddenly had a panic attack and couldn't breathe at all due to the liquids in his lungs from the heart attack. We were lucky to have the very professional nurses and doctors in the ICU immediately help him by putting him on a ventilator to make him breathe again.  As of writing this, his breathing is stabilizing, but he has a long road to recovery ahead of him.<br /><br /><img src="https://d2g8igdw686xgo.cloudfront.net/51625924_1601661046872496_r.jpeg" alt="51625924_1601661046872496_r.jpeg" width="100%" media_type="3" /><br /><br />I am ashamed and embarrassed to ask for help, but we were heavily impacted by coronavirus and we both lost our income since March. Right when we thought we got out of unemployment, this happened. We have no idea how much the medical bill will be since he is still in the ICU with two life-saving treatments so far. It is difficult to think about finances right now, but I have to in order to prepare for the inevitable medical bills, rent, food, medication, etc. I am at the hospital every day, but I will try to keep you guys updated on Hide here and on his social media. It is difficult times for everyone, so I humbly ask to only consider if you are financially comfortable. Hide Heart Attack

Unfortunately that wasn’t the case I found her in her bed weak and unable to move or even keep her own head up. My dad got Maddie for my sister and I on Christmas morning three years ago and this Christmas she is in need of medical help to survive. We immediately took Maddie to the vet and he told us Maddie is in need of blood transfusions and other medical treatments so we can save her life. Unfortunately my family can’t afford to pay for all her medical expenses and we’re asking for help to save her life. We need all the positive energy and prayers. Please help save Maddie. I will update on Maddie once her treatments continue.

<div>I'm so sorry to have reached the point where I need to ask others for help with my medical bills. I've had two shoulder surgeries. The last one involved joint reconstruction with a bone graft to the front of my shoulder. Unfortunately, I just found out that the bone graft was improperly placed, which has been causing my lack of mobility and function in my arm. It's also leading to poor circulation, making my arm turn blue throughout the day, and causing severe nerve pain.

<div>I rely on my right arm for work, and this issue has severely impacted my daily life. After getting a second opinion, I was informed that I need a third surgery. I've already recently paid for surgery and had to take 3.5 months off work. I'm not in a financial position to afford this medically necessary procedure.
