I’m creating this GoFundMe for my mom, Elia, a woman who has always put everyone else before herself. My mother has always believed in sharing is caring. Today, she’s facing one of the hardest battles of her life—kidney failure.

Her kidneys are no longer functioning properly, and she now requires regular dialysis treatments just to survive. Dialysis is physically exhausting and emotionally draining, and it has completely changed her daily life. Simple things many of us take for granted now require careful planning, strength, and resilience from her.

On top of the physical toll, the financial burden has become overwhelming. Between medical bills, dialysis treatments, medications, frequent appointments, and everyday living expenses, the costs add up faster than we ever imagined. Missing work and reduced income have only made things more difficult.

Our hope is that one day she can receive a kidney transplant, which would give her a real chance at a healthier, more normal life.
