<div>Santa Crus,  St. Elizabeth, Jamaica, were among the hardest hit by Hurricane Melissa. In just a few hours, the storm tore through these small hillside communities — ripping off roofs, flooding homes, and leaving families struggling to protect what’s left.

<div>While national and international aid often focuses first on major cities and tourist areas, smaller rural communities like these are too often left waiting. Many families are now living under tarps or makeshift coverings, uncertain when real help will arrive.

<div>This fundraiser was created to get direct help where it’s needed most. Every dollar raised will go toward:

<div>My name is Richard Stephenson, CEO of SBA Transport, and I’m originally from Jamaica. I still have loved ones living in these very communities who have been deeply affected by this hurricane. Through partnerships with friends and trusted community members on the ground, I’m helping coordinate this effort to get families the resources they desperately need — quickly and transparently.
