 Our hearts have been shattered by the news that John has been diagnosed with Stage 4 metastatic intrahepatic cholangiocarcinoma, a rare and aggressive form of bile duct cancer. At just 34 years old, his life has changed in an instant.

 Just weeks ago, he was living his life, making plans for the future, Traveling and working his job. Now, he is facing the fight of his life.

 He has started treatment at Roswell Park a couple weeks ago and on August 4th, John will be meeting with specialists at John Hopkins to determine whether he is a candidate for a clinical trial that could provide another treatment option. If he is accepted and moves forward with this treatment, he will need to temporarily relocate to Baltimore for 30 days to receive care.

 While we are incredibly hopeful, this opportunity also comes with significant financial challenges. The treatment being considered is a secondary treatment option and is not covered by insurance, meaning the costs including treatment, temporary housing, travel, meals, and other related expenses would need to be paid entirely out of pocket.

<div>A brain tumor. A setback. A devastating accident. Emily and Tom need us now more than ever.

<div>In January 2025, Emily was diagnosed with a meningioma—a brain tumor that changed everything overnight. She faced surgery with incredible courage, but doctors were unable to remove it all without risking her life.

<div>Soon after, the tumor began to grow again. Emily started radiation, pushing through fear, exhaustion, and uncertainty, with her husband Tom by her side every step of the way.

<div>Then came another heartbreaking setback.

<div>Emily recently suffered a seizure while driving, causing a serious accident that totaled her car and left her with a fractured back. She survived—but now everything has changed. She cannot work, has lost her transportation, and is facing overwhelming medical and living expenses.

Give Emily and Tom some love

<div>Russell passed away November 13th 2024 while surrounded by his family. He was an exceptionally kind and caring man who looked out for any and everyone around him. He was always there with a helping hand and a funny story whenever anyone needed something. He was a jack of all trades and an endless well of useless knowledge so he was always able to give advice no matter what situation you were in. With his passing coming fairly suddenly, his family is trying to get the money together to be able to give him a service he deserves, anything is helpful.

Honor Russell's Memory with a Loving Service

<div>On August 1st, Marshall was discovered unconscious, rushed to the ER and then lifeflighted from Lincoln City to OHSU with a large brain bleed. He was immediately rushed into surgery for a craniotomy to relieve the pressure in his brain. The cause of the bleed is unknown but a congenital AVM is suspected. He is currently admitted in the Neuro ICU, receiving excellent care from a team of doctors and nurses. Marshall is stable, breathing on his own and showing promising signs of recovery, including purposeful movement, eye-contact and attempts at speech. While we're optimistic about Marshall's progress and recovery, we anticipate a long road ahead towards full health. Marshall's sweet spirit, quick wit and kind nature are loved by all who know him. His life is full of passion and curiosity, from crabbing and Tenkara micro-fishing to his musical ingenuity and love of travel.

<div>While Marshall's insurance is supporting some of his medical expenses, we anticipate unexpected costs and want to eliminate as much stress and worry as possible for Marshall. All funds will go directly to Marshall for:

Support Marshall's Brain Injury Recovery

On Wednesday January 31, 2018, my boyfriend, Michael Seleman, suffered a traumatic and life-changing injury to his left hand in a work related accident. Mike was airlifted to Metro Health Hospital, a Level 1 Trauma Center in Cleveland, Ohio, where he underwent 14 hours of emergency surgery to save his hand and life. The damage to his left hand and palm was extensive, as all of his fingers were completely severed. The amazing surgeons and medical staff at the hospital  are doing their best to reattach one of his fingers and rebuild his thumb as a best-case scenario.<br /><br />Needless to say, Mike and his family will need our help as they face the challenges that lie ahead. Medical costs, physical therapy, and a prosthetic hand will certainly pose a financial hardship on Mike and his family, not to mention loss of work and having to take a leave of absence from his studies at Kent State University. My hope is that with your help, we can ease the financial burden and allow Mike to focus on his recovery and adjust to these life-changing circumstances.<br /><br />Please help me in my effort to Make a Difference For Mike through both prayer and a monetary donation.
