<div>For nearly 30 years, Pastor Don has faithfully served as the founding pastor of Victory Church and in pastoral ministry alongside his wife Cathy for 42 years. Together, they have poured their hearts into building a community rooted in love, faith, and compassion. Pastor Don is not only a leader but a spiritual father to so many, known for his genuine care and unwavering dedication to every person who walks through our doors. His legacy is felt deeply by our church family and the wider community he has served.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Recently, Pastor Don received a diagnosis of stage 4 pancreatic cancer, and doctors have also discovered a blood clot in his lungs. He and his family are currently out of state, meeting with specialists and pursuing the best possible care, including upcoming clinical trials. We are not approaching this with resignation. We are fighting for his life, and we are believing in God for complete and total healing.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>More than anything, Pastor Don wants his entire family together through this: His wife Cathy, his 11 year old son Jayden, his son Donny’s family and his daughter Carrie and her husband David. We want to do whatever it takes to make that happen and to get him the best treatment swiftly, wherever that takes. That means travel, lodging, meals, medical expenses, and costs we can’t yet anticipate.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>We are launching this fundraiser to help cover every layer of that need. If you have ever been touched by Pastor Don’s, Cathy’s, or the family’s ministry, their pastoral care, their prayers, or their love, now is the time to stand with them. Every dollar goes toward fighting for Pastor Don’s life and keeping his family close. <strong>And when he is fully restored and if resources remain when he is healed, every unused dollar will be given to someone else that is fighting the same battle because that’s exactly who Pastor Don is.</strong>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>We know everyone is in a different season of life, and no one should feel like what they have to offer isn’t enough. Any amount, no matter how small it may seem to you, is a meaningful act of love. What matters most is that Pastor Don and his family know they are not alone.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Most importantly, we ask for your prayers for healing, wisdom, peace, and strength. Thank you for standing with Pastor Don and the Karpinen family in faith, hope, and love.
</div>

<div>Olivia was a kind, beautiful soul—a loving and gentle mother, devoted wife, and cherished daughter, sister, friend, and compassionate nurse. Her absence leaves a deep void in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Please continue to lift up Cody, Jude, Noah, and Ella, and the entire Maggs and Wright families in God's healing embrace as we navigate an unimaginable loss of our sweet Olivia.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>---
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>On May 26, Olivia and her three children—Jude, Noah, and baby Ella—were involved in a tragic car accident on I-95. A Ford F-350 pickup truck suffered a tire blowout, crossed into their lane, and struck their van. In an instant, the world lost Olivia—far too young and too soon.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>By the grace of God, kind strangers stopped to help and pulled the children from the vehicle. Jude, Noah, and Ella were airlifted to Arnold Palmer Children’s Hospital. Ella, just 8 months old, sustained a broken femur and a brain bleed. Jude and Noah were also injured, though thankfully, they were okay.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>The family now faces a long road of healing; physically and emotionally. Your prayers of comfort, peace, and strength to surround them during this devastating time mean more than words can say.

In Loving Memory of Olivia Maggs

<div>It is with heavy hearts that we reach out to friends and family to support the loss of Tamara Ortiz 3 beautiful children. As many know, we lost Cole 17 , Trent 15 and Sailor 10 to a single car roll over on I-40 May 4th, 2025. This tragedy is unexpected and, as you can imagine, heartbreaking.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>We have not fully come to understand what is in store for us and have not yet been provided with a final cost to prepare the children for final resting. (It's taken this long just to identify them for release from the coroner 05/10)
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>As hard as this is, we are reaching out for support, financially. If you want to assist, this GoFundMe is the only mother approved account &amp; will go directly to her (no middle man).
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Direct donations can also be made to Dignity Memorial in Barstow, who has graciously agreed to receive cost donations in person or over the phone to assist with costs directly.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>I have been with Tamara since 2015 and through the years we were blessed with two more children, Peyton and Lynsey who we are helping navigate through their loss, as well. Tamara is not the kind of person who receives help well, it has taken her some time to allow us all to be there for her in the time of need. If you are willing to donate, please know how much she and the rest of us truly appreciate it.

<div>Our mom Blanca is the epitome of a strong, independent woman. Growing up, I watched as she sacrificed many of her own needs and wants to provide for my brothers and me. She often gave up special moments to make sure that we always had food on the table and a roof over our heads. My mom always made sure the people she loved were taken care of. In addition to caring for her own children, she kept an open door policy and welcomed loved ones in need of a place to stay into our home. Even today, as my siblings and I are adults, she continues to prove that a mother’s love and desire to care for her children never ends. The love we have for our mom goes above and beyond anything anyone can ever imagine.
</div>
<div>On February 5, 2025, our strong, caring mother Blanca was diagnosed with Stage 4 colon cancer that metastasized to her liver.As the doctors curated her treatment plan, she continued to work. Before beginning chemotherapy, she conquered the Trans-Catalina Trail in just four days – hiking nearly 35 miles across Catalina Island with her son Buddy and his girlfriend, Ariana . As her treatment date approached, the reality of what lay ahead became increasingly clear.
</div>
<div>Blanca will be participating in a clinical trial that her oncologist believes offers the best treatment option, given the aggressive nature of her diagnosis. This will consist of chemotherapy with specific anticancer drugs. She will also receive a holistic wellness treatment to revitalize cells affected by chemotherapy and replenish essential vitamins and minerals depleted during the process. This form of treatment is very costly and is not covered by insurance.
</div>
<div>Blanca’s plan was to continue working during her treatments to support herself. However, the process often has many side effects that unfortunately does not allow a person to live their life as normally as they’d like. Our mom being the independent woman she is wanted to try and do everything on her own. I think she is being just as strong by asking for assistance from our family, friends, and community.
</div>
<div>Your support will help Blanca keep up with her basic costs of living, additional treatments, and transportation to and from her treatment appointments. This will also give our mom the time to focus on resting, letting her body heal, and giving her time to spend with her loved ones. This news has hit our family hard. We have all witnessed the effects that cancer has on people we love. To see it happen to our strong and beautiful mother feels surreal.
</div>
<div>If you are able to, we kindly ask you to please consider donating and sharing her page. Saying a prayer or sending positive words to her would also be greatly appreciated.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>We love and wholeheartedly thank you all!

Support Blanca's Battle Against Stage 4 Cancer

<div>On Thursday, sweet Mason Pike experienced a tragic medical emergency—he choked and was without oxygen for approximately 10 minutes. In those terrifying moments, he was resuscitated multiple times and rushed to the Children’s Hospital in Charlotte, North Carolina, where he is currently on a ventilator in critical condition.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>Mason’s parents, April and Matt Pike, are living every parent’s worst fear. They are by his side around the clock, clinging to hope and praying for healing. While his medical team is doing everything they can, Mason’s long-term care needs remain unknown—and so do the medical costs that will come with them.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>This GoFundMe has been created to support the Pike family through this unimaginable time. Your generous donations will help cover:

</div>

<div>    •    Ongoing hospital and medical expenses

</div>

<div>    •    Future therapies and recovery support

</div>

<div>    •    Travel, lodging, and time away from work

</div>

<div>    •    Any unforeseen costs as Mason continues to fight

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>If you’re unable to donate, sharing Mason’s story and sending prayers is deeply appreciated. Every gesture of support lifts this family and helps lighten their load.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>Thank you for standing with Mason, April, and Matt during this incredibly difficult time. Your love means more than words can express.

Help Mason Pike Fight for His Life

<div>Hello, my name is Christian Brathwaite, I am an Active Duty Enlisted Airman, now on Emergency Leave, and I am the brother of Patrick Brathwaite — a good-natured, dedicated, gracious 35 years old man who needs our help.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Patrick is a diligent attorney, a loving papa to his dog Roshi, an amazing brother and son, and an outstanding member of the greater Tampa Bay community. He is a great mentor and an even better friend.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Patrick had a Cardiac Arrest on 29 April 2025, he was under extreme stress being a new lawyer in the Tampa Area, and with that high stress environment, his heart suffered. <strong>His heart died for 70 minutes</strong>. He is now in a cardio-pulmonary bypass machine, as he is not breathing on his own and his heart is too weak to beat. He was helicopter evacuated from Tampa to Orlando to a hospital that can perform heart transplants and specialized care for his severe condition.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Because of this incident, Patrick is unable to work, pay off his bills, take care of his dog, and the financial strain on the family is overwhelming. This fundraiser is to help cover medical bills, household bills, and everyday living expenses while on Emergency Leave while he gets care, and recovers. All donations will go directly to supporting Patrick Brathwaite and Christian Brathwaite.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Every little bit counts. Every share makes a difference. Every prayer is felt.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>To our friends, family, and everyone who knows and loves Patrick and to everyone who doesn’t know him yet, our world stopped that day. <strong>By the grace of God, he was able to call 911 himself.</strong> Which showcases his tremendous resiliency amidst a heart attack and his drive and will to live. That alone was a miracle. He’s still with us, fighting, but things are serious.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Right now, Patrick is in a sedated state. He is still conscious and still responds to commands.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>He opens his eyes. He moves. He hears us. He cries. He blinks twice if you tell him to blink twice. Patrick is still here. He’s holding on. And he’s fighting. He just has to stay sedated while he heals, because when they loosened the drugs he tried to take the ventilator off and tried to get up.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>This isn’t going to be a short journey. It’s the start of something much bigger... a battle for recovery, for healing, and a fight for life. We’re in uncharted territory, but we’re standing with faith, and we’re not standing alone.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>This page is here for anyone who wants to show up for Patrick, in prayer, in words, and yes, in support. <strong>Anything you can contribute will help us handle what’s coming next: medical care, travel, recovery support, and whatever God places on our path.</strong> We’ll be updating you all along the way.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>From the bottom of our hearts, thank you. For the love, the prayers, the messages, and just for being in Patrick’s life. He’s our brother, our friend, our son, our fighter and thank you for standing with Patrick and his family in this time of need.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>God bless you.
</div>
<div><br />

Rest in Peace. Patrick Brathwaite.

<div>My brother, Josh, was involved in a horrific motorcycle accident on his way to work on the morning of Saturday, May 10th and is currently in the ICU in critical condition. He lost his leg below the knee, broke his femur in several places, had severe internal bleeding, along with many other injuries. He faces many more surgeries, therapies, and the acquisition of a prosthetic leg to get him back to his new normal. This life-altering accident will obviously impact his ability to work for the foreseeable future. In the mean time, medical bills are piling and life expenses are still there. His beautiful wife, Sidney, has so much on her plate as she takes on the primary caregiver and breadwinner role. We are setting up this account to hopefully help ease some of their financial burden as they navigate this nightmare and try to piece their lives back together. We appreciate any prayers, shares, and donations.

<div><strong>Pasi Heinonen is a Massage Therapist from Finland with a love for his family and photography.</strong>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Unfortunately, he has been out of work for a month, since the second week of October. He had grown ill, and it began to progress into something worse. On October 30th, he was admitted to the hospital and diagnosed with pneumonia, pulmonary embolism (PE), and heart failure. His pneumonia has gotten better; however, he currently still has pulmonary embolism and blood clots all over his lungs.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>After receiving many treatments and tests, his ejection fraction (EF) is functioning at 30% when it should be 50% to 70%. When he was first admitted, his EF was at 20-25%. Now, the doctors have informed him he will have to wear a life vest for three months, which is meant to stop any abnormal heart rhythm without him going back to the hospital by sending a shock to the heart.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>The insurance he has doesn't cover any amount of the device, and he will have to pay $3,000 a month out of pocket for three months.</strong> The doctor will not release him from the hospital without the device on him.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>If you are able to donate any amount, it would be a huge help to our family.</strong> If you can't donate, which is understandable, if you could share this with anyone willing or able to donate and pray for him, it would truly mean so much to us. Thank you so much for your time.

<div>Hi Everyone - On Wednesday, July 17, 2024, my brother-in-law, Pablo Hernandez, was a hero and lost his life saving two children from drowning.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>While visiting Weymouth Furnace, Pablo noticed 2 children struggling in the water. As he went in and pushed them to safety, he was swept under and tragically wasn't able to resurface.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Pablo was an amazing father, husband, and cook... man, could he cook! He worked at a number of Atlantic City restaurants and always seized the moment to make something exquisite for his family on a whim; his Thanksgiving turkey gravy was legendary.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>No one worked harder than Pablo and his number one priority was always providing for his family. Seven years ago, when his pre-teen daughter was diagnosed with cancer, Pablo sacrificed his career to ensure he would always be by her side. He took on the role of caretaker and as always proved to be the glue that held his family together. Once back to work, even while working sometimes up to 18 hours a day, Pablo worked tirelessly on making improvements to their home, fixing their cars, and just doing all the little things that a father and husband does; all of the things that we take for granted.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>Unfortunately, with his sudden and heroic passing, Pablo's wife, two daughters, and unborn grandson, will need the support of all their family, friends, and neighbors to help them today and for the foreseeable future.</strong> We truly and genuinely appreciate any support you are able to provide during this difficult time.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Thank You.

Help Pablo's Family Through This Heroic & Tragic Loss

Hello Everyone,<br /><br />We are setting up this Gofundme to help our Dad, <strong>Dan Gustafson</strong>  get the care that he needs.  We recently found out that he has stage 4 Squamas Cell Carcinoma, this is a very aggressive type of cancer. We are devastated, and we will fight as a family to get our Dad the best possible care, to fight this battle ahead of him.<br /><br />He is currently in the hospital and we will be needing all the positive thoughts we can get at this time. We care deeply about our Dad and know that he has a rough road ahead. <br /><br />We used to joke and call our Dad  “The Mayor of Auburn”, because he knew everyone in town and had so many friends. You couldn’t walk anywhere without someone stopping him to say “Hey Dan!”. If you know Dan, you know he is the most fun, caring and young at heart guy.  In his life he has been a leader. He has been there for so many, through their darkest times. And now in this, his darkest time, <u>he needs all of us. </u><br /><br />We are preparing for his needs and the needs of our family.  Most of our family during this time is stepping up by leaving work, cutting down hours, and dedicating our time to being “all hands on deck” for our Dad. Although insurance helps with some, it does not cover all, and there will be a lot of unforeseen expenses. Because of this we are asking for your well wishes, your positive thoughts, and also any amount you can donate to help our Dad.  We love you all and thank you for your support during this difficult time. <br /><br />Nichole, Racheal and Cheryl Gustafson

As most of you know we lost our brother on Saturday, December 29, 2018. He is survived by his three children,  Renee 14, Autumn 11, and Kenny 9. We are creating this page because so many of you have asked what you can do and to those of you that knew our brother,  you know that his children were his world and he would want to know they’re okay.

As many of you know, Amanda's dogs Dunkin and Cori were both hit by cars this past weekend. Neither driver stopped to see if the dogs were ok or if there was any way they could help.<br /><br />Unfortunately, Cori did not survive. The staff at Absecon Veterinary Hospital did everything they could to save Cori, but her injuries were too severe.  Amanda took Cori in as a stray and gave her the loving home every dog deserves-Amanda loved her right away and is heartbroken by this loss. <br /><br />Dunkin, Amanda's older dog,  suffered a broken hip and had to be transferred to the University of Pennsylvania for evaluation and surgery. Dunkin underwent surgery  Monday, April 4 and he is doing well after the operation, however, his medical bills combined with Cori's final expenses are going to be very high.<br /><br />Many of Amanda's friends have expressed an interest in helping to cover these expenses. Anyone who knows Amanda knows that her dogs mean the world to her and that this is a very difficult time. Let's help with the costs of some of these vet bills in order to help Amanda and show her we love her!
