For nearly 30 years, Pastor Don has faithfully served as the founding pastor of Victory Church and in pastoral ministry alongside his wife Cathy for 42 years. Together, they have poured their hearts into building a community rooted in love, faith, and compassion. Pastor Don is not only a leader but a spiritual father to so many, known for his genuine care and unwavering dedication to every person who walks through our doors. His legacy is felt deeply by our church family and the wider community he has served.

Recently, Pastor Don received a diagnosis of stage 4 pancreatic cancer, and doctors have also discovered a blood clot in his lungs. He and his family are currently out of state, meeting with specialists and pursuing the best possible care, including upcoming clinical trials. We are not approaching this with resignation. We are fighting for his life, and we are believing in God for complete and total healing.

More than anything, Pastor Don wants his entire family together through this: His wife Cathy, his 11 year old son Jayden, his son Donny’s family and his daughter Carrie and her husband David. We want to do whatever it takes to make that happen and to get him the best treatment swiftly, wherever that takes. That means travel, lodging, meals, medical expenses, and costs we can’t yet anticipate.

We are launching this fundraiser to help cover every layer of that need. If you have ever been touched by Pastor Don’s, Cathy’s, or the family’s ministry, their pastoral care, their prayers, or their love, now is the time to stand with them. Every dollar goes toward fighting for Pastor Don’s life and keeping his family close. And when he is fully restored and if resources remain when he is healed, every unused dollar will be given to someone else that is fighting the same battle because that’s exactly who Pastor Don is.

We know everyone is in a different season of life, and no one should feel like what they have to offer isn’t enough. Any amount, no matter how small it may seem to you, is a meaningful act of love. What matters most is that Pastor Don and his family know they are not alone.
