<div>@mightyfurrets needs our help! Atlas from mightyfurrets recently got out of surgery to remove 50 bladder stones! They lost poor Squishy from bladder stone complications earlier in the week and quickly noticed more bloody urine from their bunch.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>After narrowing it down to Atlas, they rushed him to the vet where x-rays and blood work confirmed the bladder stones, surgery followed shortly.
</div>

</div>
<div>As we know, losing a ferret is hard enough, on top of cremation and memorial costs, Anna soon had to tap into whatever savings were remaining to cover the surgery for big boy Atlas.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>They sent the stones off for testing as the source of them is unknown at the moment. They do not want to have this problem again but there is a good chance some or all the other ferrets have bladder stones and will require testing and potential surgery.

</div>
<div>They are looking at hefty vet bills if even a few of their bunch have to go for a procedure, let's help out this awesome ferret family by donating or even sharing this

Help The Mighty Furrets

<p>This is our sweet Yue girl. She has gone through a lot over the last several weeks. It started with her vomiting, experiencing  diarrhea, and refusing food. She was in and out of the hospital for treatment and testing. On her CT scans it revealed that she has gallbladder stones in her gallbladder and the common bile duct. These stones are most likely causing her inflammation and GI issues. Our vet told us surgery would be her best option, but is referring us to the University of Illinois’s exotics department since this is not a common procedure. Conservative treatments will only get her so far and eventually could lead to long term risks such as a rupture/bile obstruction. We only want the best for Yue and more time with her. To have the surgery at the University is more costly, but gives her a better chance since they are better equipped.

<p>Yue has gone through a lot in her life. Herand her sister Luna were surrendered to the shelter Last February. In September 2020 We adopted them because they were the ones at the shelter the longest. They kept getting passed up because of their age and Yue’s health issues(adrenal &amp; enlarged spleen) . Shortly after we found out Yue had insulinoma. Despite all her health issues, she’s a happy girl and finds joy in small things like her ball pit or her lambchop. She is a strong fighter and never gives up.
