I met Joe on a street corner holding up a sign saying "willing to work for $10 an hour. We hired Joe that day with our company Bug Boys Pest Control. Talking to Joe I asked him what was his motivation holding that sign. He shared with me he's working to save up enough money to get cochlear implants. He needs $2,000 for a co-pay. Any extra raised will go towards getting Joe transportation. All funds raised will go to Joe only an improving his life. He told me he was never able to hear will and he just wants to hear a bird chirp and his kittens cry.
