Sophia's Birthday Wish: A Mission Trip to the Philippines When Sophia was asked what she wanted for her birthday, she didn't ask for a party or a gift. She asked to go back to the Philippines. Sophia has been there a couple of times, and each visit has stayed with her. We've sat with hungry children and fed them, and she's seen how much a simple meal and a kind smile can mean. She hasn't forgotten those faces. This year, she wants to do more. Her wish is a mission trip in the summer of 2027 to reach more families and children, to share love, to serve, and to show them they are not forgotten. You don't have to give a lot. Every dollar helps. A single dollar can help put food on a child's plate, and together those dollars can carry Sophia's wish across the ocean and into the arms of families who need it most.
