After a recent hospitalization, I realized how important it is to reach out for help and share my journey with others. This experience has inspired me to start a fundraiser, not only to support myself during recovery but also to connect with people who understand the challenges of navigating the healthcare system. I’ve even reached out to Channel 5 to help spread the word, because I believe that sharing my story can inspire hope and bring people together. The funds raised will help me get back on my feet, support me through this difficult time, and give me the chance to pursue my dream of becoming a life coach. I hope to use my experience and knowledge to guide others, especially those who struggle with mental health or are elderly, through the complexities of healthcare. My ultimate goal is to start a business that empowers people and makes a positive impact in our community. I’m asking for your help and support, not just for myself, but for everyone who needs guidance and encouragement. Together, we can make the world a better place by supporting each other and sharing what we know. Thank you for considering my fundraiser and for being part of this journey.
On June 26, 2025, while helping my long-term patients and speaking with social security, I suffered a serious accident at work. I slipped on an extremely wet floor and injured both my foot and knee on the same side. Since then, my life has changed dramatically. I have been unable to return to work, and daily activities like climbing stairs have become a real struggle. The recovery process has been long and difficult, and I have been here since August 14, 2025, trying to heal and find a way forward. The impact of these injuries has gone beyond just the physical pain. My mental health has suffered from the isolation and uncertainty, and the continued support I once relied on is slowly slipping away. Now, I am facing the very real possibility of having to sell my home just to make ends meet. It’s a frightening and overwhelming situation, but I am doing my best to stay hopeful and keep moving forward. I am truly grateful for the opportunity to ask for help and for the support of my trusted friend and my unwavering brother, Brian Bly. Any support—whether through a donation or by sharing my story—would mean the world to me. Thank you for taking the time to read my story and for considering helping me during this difficult time.
Hello, my friends. I’m reaching out because I’m facing a tough time and could really use your support. After struggling with medical issues involving my foot and knee, I need to attend both physical and occupational therapy, but I can’t afford my monthly insurance payments. On top of that, my garbage disposal broke last week, and now my freezer is leaking all over my kitchen floor. These unexpected repairs have made things even harder, and I’m finding it difficult to keep up with daily life—like taking out the trash or making it to my day program, which helps me stay on track with my recovery from alcohol. Back in 2022, after Covid-19, I started a day program to help me avoid falling back into old habits. I’m doing my best to stay positive, but with a hearing coming up on February 12 and so many things going wrong at once, I’m feeling overwhelmed and a bit hopeless. If you’ve ever been in a situation where everything seems to go wrong at once, you know how hard it can be to keep moving forward. Your support would help me cover insurance payments, physical and occupational therapy costs, and urgent home repairs, so I can focus on my health and recovery. Any help you can give would mean the world to me. Thank you for your kindness and understanding.
