My bottle baby donkey “HeeHaw” was killed in his own pasture on Saturday night by trespassing cops. He was a loved member of our family and did many petting zoos and made many people smile.

We will be using any donations left for the farm, care of the animals, a fund for making a HeeHaw foundation and none of it for our personal needs. This is not a pay day for us. Thank y'all so much for your support.

It is with shattered hearts that we share that Kerry passed away peacefully on May 24, 2026 surrounded by family and love after suffering a brutal and unprovoked attack outside his home in Escondido, California.

Hi everyone,

At the end of 2025, Kristi received some unexpected and life-changing news — she was diagnosed with advanced coronary artery disease. This means she needs surgery, and unfortunately a significant portion of the cost will be out of pocket. On top of that, she’ll be placed on light duty and out of work for a while as she recovers.

If you know Kristi, you know she’s not one to ask for help. She works tirelessly in the rescue field and has dedicated so much of her time, energy, and heart to helping others — especially her rescue pups, who rely on her every single day. Kristi has always been someone who shows up for her community without hesitation.

Now it’s our turn to show up for her.

Any donation, share, or kind word helps more than you know. Thank you for taking the time to read this and for supporting Kristi during this challenging time.

Dear friends and fellow music lovers,

It’s never easy to ask for help — especially when it comes to someone as proud, private, and profoundly humble as Terry Reid. But today, we are reaching out on his behalf with heavy hearts.

As many of you know, Terry is not only a legendary musician with a voice and soul that have touched audiences around the world — he is also a dear friend, a generous spirit, and a cherished member of the global music community.

Over the past several months, Terry has been courageously battling cancer as well as numerous other serious health issues. His fight has been quiet and brave, but it has also come at a great personal cost. He's been in and out of the hospital, enduring rounds of treatment and uncertainty — and, most recently, was forced to cancel his long-anticipated six-week tour. The financial strain has become overwhelming, and the medical bills are mounting by the day.

Terry would never ask for this himself — which is why we’re asking for him.

This GoFundMe is a way for those who love him, have been moved by his music, or simply want to support a fellow human being in a difficult time, to give back. Whether you’re a lifelong fan or a friend who’s stood beside him onstage, backstage or in the audience — every donation, message, and gesture of love makes a real difference.

Terry’s spirit remains strong, and he’s deeply grateful for the outpouring of care he’s already received. With your help, we hope to ease the financial burden of his treatment, support his recovery, and make sure he can focus on healing — not hospital bills. Terry has every intention of returning to the stage and to all of his beloved fans. Let’s all stand beside him and fight.

Thank you from the bottom of our hearts. Any donation will help, and if you can't give, sharing this campaign helps more than you know. We'll be showing Terry all of your comments so keep the love coming in!!!

Tatum Manger helped assist with creating this :Marcos Salim Heredia, I am the owner and operator of Carmelita's Restaurants. Started the go fund me to pass along directly to the family. I have had the great pleasure to have Tatum as our assistant manager, friend, and family member in our business for 4 years. Tatum was a very hard working young lady and always kept a smile on her face. Over the years she had expressed her pleasure to be in laguna and have her opportunity with us. We felt that we really had a family member here with us. This go fund me is going to help tatums family directly , and assist with funeral and memorial in laguna beach to honor Tatum.

We are still in disbelief and we dont want her to go unforgotten. Some of the donations will help with creating a memorial in the city, so everyone in town never forgets about our sweet friend Tatum. Please help us honor Tatum, she was found lifeless in Laguna Beach and we are being told at the moment, that this is a ongoing homicide investigation. We are going to do our best to make sure we help the city in anyway to help the police with their work and investigations. We truly need your help to give Tatum the memorial she very much deserves. And the assistance for the family during this very difficult time.

UPDATE ON STEPHEN'S STORY (December 2023):

Thanks to everyone for your support, prayers, meals, and donations.

Stephen received radiation and initial chemo at Scottish Rite in Atlanta. He then continued chemo at Children's Hospital of Georgia in Augusta, but unfortunately, after 4 months, the cancer has continued to spread and is now in his spine. Due to the chemo, his platelets have dropped so low he had massive nose bleeds and was admitted to the Pediatric ICU multiple times. He also started having seizures. We are now looking at experimental clinical trials to enroll him in, possibly at St. Jude's or elsewhere.

Thank you again to everyone who has already sent prayers and donations. Your support has been overwhelming and such a blessing. We and have decided to reopen the GoFundMe due to multiple requests to support Stephen's fight. He has been a trooper throughout all these trials and we will continue to fight along with Stephen into the next phase.

Please continue to pray for him and the family, for healing, comfort, strength, and ultimately for God to be glorified and turn this suffering into good. We hope and trust that God will work all things for good (Romans 8:28) and that after the storm, joy will come in the morning (Psalm 30:5)

Hi, I am Thomas Claya, sending this out on behalf of Stephen Michael Jr., my 10 year old nephew.

On April 4th, 2023, Stephen Jr.’s world was turned upside down. He was diagnosed with brain cancer after a few short weeks of experiencing headaches and vomiting. Doctors found a brain tumor called a medulloblastoma, almost the size of an orange, in his brain. It’s an aggressive type of tumor and requires aggressive treatment - on April 7th, 2023 Stephen Jr. underwent surgery to have it removed. Due to the tumor’s location, right against the brain stem, entire removal was not possible.

When he was diagnosed, Stephen Jr’s main concern was for his father, saying things like “I’m worried about my dad”. He has a heart of gold, a beautiful sense of humor and possesses unwavering courage which gives our family the same courage to relentlessly fight this with him.

Stephen Jr. survived the surgery but not without some complications. He was unable to move the right side of his body or get out of bed, he was unable to speak, and his eyesight was affected. All of these have required intensive rehabilitation and he has been admitted to the hospital all this time. Our rambunctious, funny, fun-loving Stephen Jr. went from a boy climbing trees and looking forward to finishing 3rd grade and a summer of fun, to being bed-bound and days filled with intensive rehab, radiation and chemo.

Though unable to speak, he retains his ability to understand our voices, so he communicates via thumbs up/thumbs down and hand gestures (see video). As I mentioned previously, Stephen Jr. has a beautiful sense of humor and within a few days after surgery, he was able to laugh at a lot of the things we were saying to him, so we knew although he couldn’t speak, that he was understanding us and we were hopeful that he would find his voice again. With intensive rehab, he is slowly regaining the ability to move the right side of his body, walk and speak.

We know he has a very long road ahead and there are a lot of unknowns - this is why we are asking for your help. The road ahead for Stephen Jr. consists of 6-8 weeks of radiation followed by 12 months of chemotherapy.

He is at a hospital that is 3 hours away from home, so a lot of travel and lodging is required to ensure Stephen Jr. always has a family member there fighting with him. His dad had to return to work but still has to take time off to be there for him. We are asking for your support of our family so that we can cover expenses for travel and having someone be at his side while he is so far away from home. We dare not even think of what the medical bills for this will be like. We also anticipate in the next few months having to outfit his home with a wheelchair ramp and other accessories so that he can return home.

Please pray for Stephen Jr. and his dad and our entire family. May God bless you for your support. Our family is forever grateful. Updates to follow once I figure out how to do so via GoFundMe.

Help Stephen Jr. and Family

Hi, My name is Karla Gibson and I am fundraising for the Mbatha children and their aunt (beneficiary), Horelia Kuria, as she is their current primary caregiver. Our next-door neighbors and friends, Gedion and Ruth Mbatha were killed in a horrific car accident caused by a wrong-way driver early Sunday morning, as they were heading home from celebrating Gedion's birthday with friends. https://abc7.com/chino-hills-wrong-way-crash-71-freeway-chp/12977397/ .

Gedion and Ruth were the nicest and friendliest of neighbors. They leave behind 3 young children ages, 12, 8, and 3. These children will need as much support as possible in the days, months, and years to come. Many of their family members reside in Kenya and those here will have the task of caring for and ensuring these children can continue to live their lives with as little interruption as possible.

The family would appreciate any assistance to cover burial/funeral expenses, as well as financial assistance to continue to raise these children in their home and give them everything their parents would have loved to. Any contribution will be greatly appreciated and funds will be directly distributed to Horelia.

Nextdoor Neighbors -- Let's Keep on Helping Our Neighbors With Small Donations!

My name is Sharon and through Nextdoor I met Alma, a wonderful Mom who had one piece of very bad luck after another. Our Nextdoor neighbors stepped up big-time with individual small donations and now Alma is no longer under an eviction threat, and she was able to buy a second-hand car to get to her new full-time position at Disneyland. But that's not the end of the story! That's because it's not the end of evictions now that COVID restrictions are lifted!

One of our donors suggested we could make monthly donations -- just $5.00 a month. What a great idea! Do you accept the challenge? Because more people are in need. Families Forward, Share Ourselves -- they cannot help everyone in need.

Now I've met Saint Alverez, one of Alma's neighbors. He also has 3 children, and a run of very bad luck. Mom is unfit so he is on his own, and the oldest is only six. He also got an eviction notice and also has a car that broke down. I spoke to his supervisor at Waste Management. He's worked there for several years and is a hard-working and valued employee. Can we help? I told her we would try our best. And we did help! His fellow employees donated, you, his Irvine neighbors donated, and he just sent word that since he paid his back rent, the eviction notice is lifted. Now, we are helping him get his car fixed so he can care for his children, rather than sitting on the bus for hours.

A third person has already been evicted, and the landlord refuses to let her take her belongings -- including her work tools for her dog grooming business. So she has now lost all her clients, and is sinking further in debt, even unable to pay her phone bill. We have sent a cashier's check to release her belongings. If she can get clients back again, she can be on her way to supporting herself, and being able to find a room she can afford. She loves Irvine, and wants to stay in her community.

And once again, I'm not asking a lot from any one of you. If we could each just put in $5.00 each month, and send the message out through our personal social media accounts so that our numbers would grow to 1000 people out of our city of over 300,000, we can help others as we did Alma and Saint. The major assistance organizations are OUT OF FUNDS! Please post this link on your social media and let's get this Nextdoor Neighbors fund to grow. And thank you all so much!

Daughter's STOLEN eBike-Birthday present. We are devastated and heartbroken, my daughter's brand new as of July 1st, White Driven eBike and 13th birthday present was stolen while locked from a friend's gated home on 15th street in Newport Beach today. This bike was a belated 13th birthday present since she could not have party due to the lock down. My elderly parents and I went in together and got her the fat tires because I felt they were safer. She has endured so much last year with being the subject of mean girl drama type bullying/exclusion at school, crying and begging to leave the school . Between that & the lock down isolation that followed with no friends, she became so depressed. She and I are heartbroken her new present was stolen. We are so blessed, that so many wonderful people are asking about a Go Fund Me-THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!! Love, Shannon & Portland

Gabriela .A. and Henry .S. Expenses

My cousin, Tristyn, passed earlier today in a motorcycle accident. She was only 17 years old. She always had a smile on her face & had a drive to make others laugh. I know we are all going through rough times right now with COVID, but if anyone can donate to cover the costs of funeral expenses it would be much appreciated. Please keep our family in your prayers as well during this rough time. Her father was the one driving, and he was airlifted to the hospital for his injuries. He needs many prayers as well, as he will forever be traumatized by this. Thanks in advance.

Funeral Expenses

We need your help and prayers. We are starting a GoFundMe for Brett Boyer.

What happened:

On January 28, 2020 tragedy struck. Brett was critically injured in a motorcycle accident with an SUV. He was transported to a trauma center where the doctors discovered his catastrophic injuries, but they were able to save his life. Brett spent three weeks in the ICU in critical condition with a broken neck, multiple spinal fractures, broken ribs, a collapsed lung, lacerated liver and a severe traumatic brain injury.

For those of you who may not know him, Brett is a kindhearted, loving and considerate husband, son and friend. He has a sweet soul, yet is strong-willed and always stays true to himself, no matter the situation. Adventurous and outgoing, Brett loves snowboarding, riding his motorcycle, gaming, or just enjoying a beer at his favorite spots. Most of all, he loves having fun with his beautiful wife Amanda. At 29 years old, Brett has so many incredible experiences awaiting him in the future.

He has a long journey of recovery and healing ahead. With his wife and family by his side, continually offering love and prayer, Brett remains in a minimally conscious state. His chances of a full recovery depend greatly on the quality of care he receives as his body works hard to heal! Brett requires multiple therapies and treatments several times a day to ensure the greatest opportunity for the fullest life possible. Brett will need the ultimate in care at a rehabilitation center that has an individually tailored program for his traumatic brain injury.

Brett's journey to recovery is going to be long and difficult for him and his family. His medical care costs have been estimated to be in the millions. Unfortunately, insurance covers only part of the extensive care Brett needs which means a lot of the financial strain and worry is put on his loved ones. This is a time when his wife needs to put her energy into his recovery and her own self-care while adjusting to this new way of life she and Brett will have for the foreseeable future. For that reason we ask for your help to support Brett's medical care fund. Specifically, his medical needs include equipment (such as a power wheelchair) physical and speech therapies, circulation and sensory stimulation exercises, as well as attendance from a qualified medical team at an appropriate facility for Brett.

This is the biggest challenge of Brett's life. He is battling through the trauma inflicted on him that fateful day in January. Brett is strong-willed and tough minded and with the help of his wife, family, friends and caring hearts in our community there's hope for Brett that he will again have an incredible life. #BrettsBattle

Brett's Battle

All,

As many of you have read by now, a helicopter crash on January 26, 2020 in Calabasas, CA has claimed the lives of nine people. John, Keri and Alyssa Altobelli were among the nine victims. Most devastating to our Red Sox family, John, Keri, and Alyssa were the father, stepmother and younger sister of one of our scouts, J.J. Altobelli.

As J.J. and his sister Lexi cope with the immense sadness stemming from this accident, we want to rally to raise money for them. Ensuring that J.J. and Lexi don’t have to worry about financial insecurity moving forward is the least we can do.

While the Red Sox and its Foundation will be providing financial and emotional support, we understand that opening this up to the public can provide the Altobelli Family with the most security moving forward. These funds will help J.J. and Lexi as they are faced with funeral costs, Lexi’s future education, as well as other general living costs. Please join us in contributing – no amount is too small.

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you in advance for your generosity.

Support for the Altobelli Family

The Madison West Family has come together in response to the unjust firing of Marlon Anderson by the most senior administrators of the Madison Metropolitan School District. Led by the student leaders of the Black Student Union (BSU), students and staff are rallying behind Marlon and his family.

Marlon has dedicated over 11 years of service to MMSD, and is the bedrock and heart of the Mad West community. Not only does he speak truth to our students, staff, and families, but he backs up that truth with his actions. In a school of over 2,300 students and 200 staff, Marlon has the desire and uncanny ability to remember every single person’s name. He can read what each person needs with a simple look, and generously fills that need with love: a kind word, a silly song, a loving-but-firm warning. Whatever is needed, Marlon provides it or finds someone who can. He is an exemplar of Black Excellence and is a role model for students and staff alike.

Marlon and his family--a wife and three sons--need their Madison community to love and support them in the same way that he has dedicated his life loving and supporting our children and staff. The appeals process can be long, and both emotionally and financially draining. Like any family, the Andersons have bills to pay, especially for Marlon’s ongoing health needs. Now more than ever, we have to protect and uplift our own while our beloved Marlon and his family go through this unnecessary ordeal.

One way to show your support for Marlon and his family is to donate to this fund.

For more information, please see the following news articles
Second Washington Post Story
Madison 365
WMTV NBC15.com
Washington Post
The Hill

To sign the petition for him to be restored to his position, please go to Marlon Anderson Petition

Support for Marlon Anderson and Family

Hi everyone, Britany here. Our dad, Scot Matteson has been diagnosed with stage 3 Pancreatic Cancer. As many of you know, our dad has fought through most of his life to make sure we had an amazing one. He always has put our feelings and needs before his, and with everything he has done, it has made him an extraordinary dad. He raised us kids on his own for over 15 years and doesn't like asking for help, but truly we need it. Scot will be starting chemo therapy next week, every week for three months to potentially shrink the cancer. After the chemo therapy he will be doing a surgery to remove the cancer from his pancreas. Please donate for Scot Matteson's medical bills, it will greatly help us and will greatly help him. A father of four, and a friend to so many.
Love, Taylor, Britany, Brooke, & Arabella.

This support page is dedicated to one of our own, our dearest
Cherelle Reeves-Berrard from her best friend Kristine.

After waking from a routine colonoscopy a few weeks ago she received some devastating news….”we found a tumor and it’s cancer”.

Since that day her life has been turned upside down with phone calls, research and doctor visits. Her 2nd and more in-depth colonoscopy and CT scan by a specialist revealed that it is Stage 3 rectal cancer which has infiltrated the surrounding lymph nodes. This comes on the heels of losing her husband David age 42 to Stage 4 pancreatic cancer 13 years ago.

Cherelle will have to make many financial sacrifices and difficult
decisions in the coming months. She is so very strong for those she
loves and now needs to know she has an army loving and supporting her.

Her heart knows no bounds. A kind, compassionate and loyal friend
who’s done so much for so many and is always there with a shoulder to
cry on and helpful advice. She’s always smiling, even in the face of
adversity due to her unwavering faith in Jesus Christ our Lord and
Savior.

Hoping to help Cherelle through this so that she can focus on getting well and not stress over finances. As some procedures are not covered by insurance. She needs our help!!

Please keep her and her family in your thoughts and prayers. Thank you and God bless!

Porsha Owens, 28, was killed June 11, 2018, near her St. Louis County home. Owens leaves three children RJ, 8, Hailee, 4, and Haiyden, 3. She was a treasured member of the Riverview Gardens School District security team. Her family is hoping to raise 500,000 to help support her three children.

I, Yvette King, her mother, will be responsible for the funds. The funds will be used to take care of my grandchildren's medical, dental, schooling, housing, food and clothing until they're old enough to take care of themselves.

I sincerely thank everyone for their prayers and support. The donations will help assist me a bunch!! Thank you all.

Hello to my friends and family, as you know my father has been fighting his battle with stage 4 cancer for many years. He has had over 100 chemo therapy treatments and has had many surgeries. Right now he is keeping positive and continuing fighting lung cancer in his left lung. We have just received the news that the chemo therapy is no longer working and we must resort to lung surgery. We would appreciate any donations to help with living expenses and bills during the recovery. God bless everyone and we would appreciate all the prayers we can get!

Help needed - Tim Donnelly medical

As some of you may know, my mom (Julie Flynn) has been diagnosed with Stage 4 (terminal) Glioblastoma Brain Cancer.

This has come as a shock to all of us, in fact it's still hard to really comprehend the reality of it all. The prognosis for terminal brain cancer is about a 3% chance of survival, with a life span of about 12 months. It is one of the most aggressive and deadliest types of cancer. However, I do believe that miracles happen and my mom can get through this.
We are trying to remain as positive and hopeful as we can, but of course its hard. The tumors have been very aggressive and relentless. She has had two surgeries and will most likely have more to come. My mom just turned 48 years old, this type of cancer usually occurs in people 65 or older, so you can see why were still in shock. She has changed so much, its hard to look at her and think she is the same person; but her spirit and sense of humor are still there, and thats what gives me hope at the end of the day.

After her second surgery, she received a chemotherapy treatment called Avastin, which caused her to not only have internal bleeding, but blood clots in her legs and her lungs. Surgery at this point would be extremely dangerous, so the doctors decided a blood transfusion would be the safest option. The procedure went well, however, the blood clots will take months to dissolve on their own, if they ever do. The scariest part about the blood clots, is that they could move to her heart at any point in time.

Her physical appearance and ability to do simple things has changed drastically in the last few months to the point where she cannot walk, let alone stand up on her own. Her speech has been drastically impacted, and her ability to write or even read is about the same level as a 4 year old. My family and I decided it would be best if she was admitted to a care facility so they could provide the proper care for her. She has been there for a few weeks now, and its not certain when or if she will ever be able to go home.

Since the chemotherapy caused such terrible side effects and nearly killed her with blood clots, she will not continue with the treatment. That was her last option as far as traditional treatment goes; however, there is still hope. Duke University in North Carolina has had a recent breakthrough with their cancer research. After seven years of research, they have invented a type of treatment where they inject Polio (yes, polio) into the brain tumor, which not only paralyzes it from growing, but could even cause the brain tumor to completely disappear. The thought of my mom being able to overcome this deadly disease and actually live a few more years, possibly be cured, is the greatest thing that could happen for my family.

Clinical trials are not free, and insurance does not always cover the the expense, which could be thousands of dollars, sometimes $50,000-200,000. We are going to do everything we can in our power to get her there.

Thank you to anyone who is able to donate even $5, anything helps at this point. If you are not able to donate any money, I completely understand, just keep my mom in your prayers and wish for her to be brought back to good health.

Thank you,
Megan Flynn

Julie's Battle with Brain Cancer

Please help the legendary Mike Bast, 7 time US National Speedway Champion, with his expensive hospital bill and rehabilitation efforts. Mike suffered an ischemic stroke caused by interruption of blood supply to the cerebral artery in the brain, which interfers with speech and motor skills. As a result, Mike will have to undergo extensive physical therapy and rehabilitation to learn to regain balance and learn how to walk again.

Those of you that know Mike and Dee Ann know that they have been married for 41 years and through that time Mike has financially supported his wife and family via real estate. However, when the housing bubble burst what would have been Mike and Dee's retirement was quickly lost to the worst economic downturn since The Great Depression. To make ends meet Mike had been selling and installing awnings. In fact, it was when he was with one of his sons just after an awning installation that he first suffered the stroke. And now we have been told that he will never be able to work again.

He has had to undergo many expensive tests, scans, and a lengthy hospital stay only to be told that the hardest part of recovery lay ahead in the form of intense physical therapy. The expense incurred by this stroke and the impending cost of physical therapy is more than the family can handle. So with that we humbly ask for your support in the form of a donation so that we might see this speedway legend get a chance to throw a leg over a bike again someday. Thank you all for anything you can spare to give as we move forward with our lives and adjust to a new sense of normalcy. God Bless!

With Love,
The Bast Family
