At the end of 2025, Kristi received some unexpected and life-changing news — she was diagnosed with advanced coronary artery disease. This means she needs surgery, and unfortunately a significant portion of the cost will be out of pocket. On top of that, she’ll be placed on light duty and out of work for a while as she recovers.

If you know Kristi, you know she’s not one to ask for help. She works tirelessly in the rescue field and has dedicated so much of her time, energy, and heart to helping others — especially her rescue pups, who rely on her every single day. Kristi has always been someone who shows up for her community without hesitation.

Now it’s our turn to show up for her.
