My name is Jamie, and I’m reaching out for help as I work to rebuild stability for myself and my two cats. After being evicted, I’ve been searching for a job, but without secure housing, it’s been a real challenge to find steady work and a safe place for us to stay. I’ve recently connected with the Montrose Center, and they’ll be helping me secure housing on March 18th. There’s hope on the horizon—I just interviewed with a property management company, and they’re currently running my background check. They’ve already taken my driver’s license and social security card, so I’m optimistic about this new opportunity. Right now, I’m in need of support to cover hotel costs and Ubers for me and my cats until I can get hired and work for two weeks. Your help would mean the world to us, providing a safe place to stay and a way to get to interviews and, hopefully, my new job.
