 Help the Nic Lynne family keep our house!
</div>
<div>
 We've had trouble with unemployment since 2023, and <strong>we're on our last legs trying to hold onto our house and avoid foreclosure.</strong> It's our children's first house, and the only place our twins have ever lived. <strong>We just need help with the costs for our mortgage's trial modification plan so we can keep our home while we parents get employed.</strong> All funds will go toward the mortgage.
</div>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
 We want to keep our children in their schools and home, and we hope you can spare a little to help us do that.

<div>“I am Saeed Al-Jadba, 27 years old, living in northern Gaza under continuous bombardment and aggression. Here in northern Gaza, we suffer from a life of death and continuous loss. I lost a large part of my family and my dear fiancée, and we also lost the house we lived in. We were displaced more than 10 times from one place to another in search of safety. The truth is that there is no safe place, but the war came and destroyed all of that. I had my own business, worked as an accountant, and had my own office. I lost everything. The occupation completely destroyed our house and office and burned them down. I was injured in my foot and we no longer have any source of income. We also lack the ability to obtain food and drinking water. We have suffered from many diseases such as hepatitis and malnutrition due to the lack of a suitable environment for life. We suffer from chronic diseases here and we cannot find a treatment for them. Our lives are in danger, so I hope you can help us, even a little, as this will help us escape death.”

<div><strong>Announcing Phase 2 of Operation Olive Branch’s Direct Aid Initiative: </strong>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Because of your <strong><em>overwhelming</em></strong> support of our pilot program, the OOB Perinatal Project, we are <strong>expanding</strong> (see original GFM description below).
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>In collaboration with our partners and heroes Pal Humanity, we are launching a pilot <strong>Family Encampment</strong> which will accommodate approx 300 individuals (30 families) in Phase 1. The camp will provide shelter, food, water, medical services, WiFi, electricity and other necessities.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Phase 1 is Perinatal focused as it was the surplus of funding from the Perinatal Project fundraiser that launched it. However, Phase 2 will target families with disabilities and urgent medical needs as we have doctors living on site.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>OOB has utilized 117K of your support to build the camp and we estimate monthly maintenance could be as high as $100 per person, which is $1000 per tent or $30K a month total.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>OOB Camps meet international standards for sanitation (eg: 1 bathroom per 20 people) and operate on an Indigenously guided foundation of “safe, simple and sustainable”. Therefore our engineers constructed pit latrines instead of cess pits (common in the area) which are banned in many countries for contaminating ground water and spreading disease. To maintain cultural and religious dignity, the latrines have bidets that store in blackwater tanks to allow for cleansing with water with the least maintenance possible.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>ALL OOB Camps begin with building a well, dispersing it amongst camp and providing access to the public because #WaterIsLife
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>With your <strong>continued support</strong>, we hope to expand this camp to 1000 individuals (100 tents) as quickly as possible and we hope this location will be the first of many.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Please follow us and PAL Humanity on social media for regular updates.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Please note that the below description for the Perinatal Project is still valid and we work with the same partners.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong><em>Operation Olive Branch</em></strong> is a volunteer-powered grassroots collective effort to connect with and amplify Palestinian voices in an effort to support their critical needs, which include but are not limited to their mutual aid requests. Our solidarity initiative is steered by a diverse core council of global advocates including Palestinian and Jewish voices.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>We strive to verify the fundraising efforts of families, as well as our medical partners, to best support them to navigate the challenges of social media and fundraising.
</div>
<div>Please find a list of our “<strong>verified</strong>” families and medical aid partners here: <a href="https://tinyurl.com/opolivebranch" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Verified Families &amp; Mutual Aid</a>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>We quickly identified over a hundred families who required urgent perinatal care and support during pregnancy, birth and postpartum. Faced with malnutrition, lack of food, clean water and limited access to medical support, families are experiencing severe perinatal medical complications.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>As a result, <strong><em>The Perinatal Project</em></strong> was created in partnership with <strong><em>Operation Olive Branch</em></strong> to connect families in Gaza to essential perinatal care.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>The project relies on community partners to carry out these essential needs on a regular basis. These established organizations and individuals provide direct service to the families on the ground by delivering aid, facilitating access to medical support, language translation, and sourcing supplies in a constantly changing environment.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>The <strong><em>OOB Perinatal Project</em></strong> has set up a fundraiser to deliver direct monetary support to the project’s partners. Whilst these organizations and individuals may have their own fundraising projects set up, they do not always see compensation or receive enough funds to meet the needs of the families on the ground. It is vital we ensure the Project’s partners have adequate funds to continue their work.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>In order to provide ongoing transparency regarding monetary allocations, OOB will provide regular updates on this campaign.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Please find information on our community partners below:

<div>This will be a continuous crowdfund for as long as our community partners need. Should <strong><em>The Perinatal Project</em></strong> have a change or addition to community partnerships, <strong><em>Operation Olive Branch </em></strong>will include those updates on this campaign.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Lastly, please continue to <strong>directly support </strong>aid<strong> </strong>groups and individuals on the ground, as their funds help serve the broader community as well.

Operation Olive Branch

<div>3 weeks ago we adopted the sweetest mini-poodle puppy Gideon - nicknamed Giddy for her sunny personality and her love of people and playtime. Giddy is just 10 weeks old and already so full of life and spirit!
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>A week ago we learned that our sweet puppy has a congenital heart condition known as PDA (Patent Duct Artenosis) - if left untreated our sweet baby will enter heart failure and cross the rainbow bridge within a year.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>We are determined to get Giddy the best care we can and not let finances stand in the way of a long happy life for our baby, and we need your help!
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>PDA surgeries have a 95% success rate with full recovery. This means after surgery we would be able to enjoy 15 long years with Giddy.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>The surgery runs $5,000 plus a $1,000 surgical consult with labs and blood work. Any amount we raise above surgery costs will help support our pup’s safe travel from Brooklyn to Ithaca.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>No amount is too small (or too big ) - please help our little girl with a donation and pass this along to your pet-loving friends.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>P.S. Isn’t she just the cutest?
</div>

Help Giddy the Mini get life saving surgery!

<div>Exciting news! Not only is Dee officially scheduled for top surgery, but their surgeon's wait time was <em>way </em>shorter than we anticipated - which means we now have about a month to get them ready for surgery and recovery - AHH!
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>If you haven't yet had the pleasure of meeting my boyfriend Dee (or Ashe) in person, you may know them online for their work as a trans-masc model and performer or their portrait photography celebrating LGBTQ+ joy, love, and sexuality. They are queer, black, indigenous, polyamorous, and a lover of potatoes everywhere. They are also one of the kindest, most thoughtful and creative humans I've ever known. Anyone who knows them knows they can count on them for support, and now it's our turn to show up for them.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Dee came out as non-binary about 3 years ago, and since then has been on a journey of discovering what aspects of gender expression bring them euphoria and peace. Now after 3+ years of chest-binding, over a year of testosterone injections, a legal name change, and jumping through all the ridiculous hoops of the U.S medical system, Dee is finally scheduled for top surgery on January 5th, 2023!
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Funds donated to this campaign will go towards the portion of the surgery costs not covered by health insurance, additional hospital fees, post-surgery doctor visits, and medical supplies, as well as assisting with food and rent while Dee takes a month off work to recover from this major surgery.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>If you have the means, we would be incredibly grateful for donations of any amount! And if a monetary donation isn't in the cards for you right now, it would be just as meaningful if you shared this campaign with others.

Help Yeet Dee's Teets!

<div>My name is Lucecita Cruz , you can call me Luz. This fundraiser is for me to live a dream of mine and study one of my passions. as a disabled, chronically ill neurodivergent Transperson, I am leaningon my community to help me make my dreams come true because I can't do it alone.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>My life didn't turn out the way I thought, which is a good thing. As a lifelong addict who has had many bouts of homelessness I didn't think I'd be alive right now. I'm not looking for pity I'm just being real about the circumstances of my lived experience.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>At the beginning of March I graduated with a bachelor's degree. I am the only of my 3 siblings to do so. It was a process I was determined to complete and one that I did in 2.5 years, I completed 4 years of college in half of the time. My ability to affford college was solely due to finanical aid and student loans. My income isn't much and when I say that that for transparancy sake I barely make 20k a year. During my final semester I was applying to graduate schools because I am adamant about coninuing my studies particularly in an area that I am wholeheartedly invested in. In November of 2021 I recieved an acceptance letter to the SOAS- University of London to study food anthropology, particularly foods of the african diaspora.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>This has been a life long dream of mine, as someone that lives, eats ( you get it ;) ) and breathes food studying the origins of my peoples foods and how it has influenced the world is both an honor and a privilege and makes me so happy I cried.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>I want to go to london, and while my tuition is covered because of student loans and I am applying for upwards of $19,000 in scholarships those are not guarantees.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>I cannot afford to make it there for two reasons:
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<ul>
<li>The first being that the Student Visa process of the United Kingdom requires me to have about $30,000 im my bank account for 28 consecutive days before I even apply for the visa otherwise I won't be approved.
</li>
<li>The second is that I don't have that much money, and the fact of the matter is even if this werent a visa requirement I would still need that much money to rent a place for a year and be able to feed and sustain myself.
</li>
</ul>
<div>As an individual who has been chronically housing insecure for much of their life I really need to be able to have an apartment to live in while studying in London.
</div>
<div>The average rents in london are $2000 as it is one of the most expensive cities to live in in the world, along side New York and Tokyo.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>The other 15k I am trying to raise will go towards the visa application, extra diabetes supplies until I am able to find a doctor and recieve insulin, moving expenses, shipping items to the UK that I will need, airplane tickets, extra lugggage fees, a storage unit and renting a uhaul for my possesions I won't be taking with me and gofundme fees.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>I understand the immense privilege that I hold just having a bachelor's degree. and I understand that there are people trying to just survive in the world and I do want to invoke abundance and denounce scarcity which was stopping me from posting one of these in the first place.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>I have been relentless in my efforts to make the world a better place for queer trans people of color like myself, and now I'm asking you to make my life better.
</div>
<div>If you can donate that would be amazing, if not just sharing would also be great. If you want to host a fundraiser for me where you are from I welcome it, anything to get me to London.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>I need to raise this money by June because I need to apply for the Visa, so I only have a couple of months and it is quite a large sum so the more you can share it to your broader networks the faster it can be funded.
</div>

Help Luz Get to London

<div>Hello friends and relatives of Gwynne Osaki. For those who haven't heard, or for those trying to deal with the loss, it is a very sad and reflective time for us all. Gwynne was a gentle spirit who was married to Rob Izenson for 20 years, and happily lived in Ann Arbor Mi, with their wonderful pets. Gwynne was always interested in helping others and fighting for social justice. She loved her family and friends in Hawaii, Michigan and everywhere. She was a great teacher, tutor, and enjoyed working with gardening at her main job. We will miss her so much. Obviously, nobody expected her to pass so suddenly, especially not Rob since she was in good health. And so, like many of us, setting aside money for funeral expenses or paying for life insurance was not planned for. Any donation you might want to make is greatly appreciated.

With your support I'll be able to continue to pay for COBRA which will cover my surgery in August and my final stages in February 2021 and August 2021.<br /><br />I appreciate any help you are able to spare and if you would be so kind to also share my story that would also be meaningful and helpful.<br /><br />Lots of love,<br /><br />Raffi

Surgery Funds for Trans PoC

I had surgery three weeks ago today. Yesterday, I got the bill for the overnight stay at the hospital. Insurance covered a huge portion of the bill &amp; I am fortunate enough to not be in dire straits covering what's left. If you have no idea who I am, there are far more deserving fundraisers out there. Please donate to one of them instead.<br /><br />I am largely reaching out to people who are familiar with me as a person. If you know me or like me or just want to help me, I'd greatly appreciate whatever donation or well-wishes you can spare.<br /><br />The bill is due October 31st, just a few days after my birthday on the 27th. Community support makes a great gift.<br /><br />Thank you!

Her work specifically has focused on women, people of color and the working class. She has been a leader in designing and developing programs that give these groups a voice and help to reconnect them with the natural world to build strength, independence and self-worth.<br /><br />She is a water quality researcher and focuses on anti-oppression work within environmental justice, and anti-racist movements.<br /><br />Now she is on her way to join the water protection efforts going on for the travesty that is the Dakota Access Pipeline. She will be bringing a truckload of supplies as well as her passion, talents, and work ethic with her and while there she will be using her unique skill set to assist with the school and the women's group that are a vital part of these efforts.<br /><br />She leaves on Saturday, September 17th and will be gone for 2-6 weeks, depending on what her work and money situations look like. <br /><br />Of the $8,000, $1,000 will go towards getting her out there, and eventually back. $2,000 will be emergency funds (vehicle issues, gas, etc.), and the rest will go towards supplies to support the protectors who have been on the front line, fighting for Mother Earth.<br /><br />Always one to go where she's needed, when she is needed, for the betterment of the environment and the quality of life for those less fortunate, Bea is once again stepping up to the plate to do what is right, for all our futures, and our family could not be more proud of her.<br /><br />Your support means the world to her and to us. Alexandra Bea's #NoDAPL Support

Our dear friend Nogga, who has showed the fuck up for so many of us in so many ways, needs help. He is humble, and asking for help, for him, like many of us, is a lot more difficult than extending it. So I'm helping push this issue. I heard our Nogga when he said his mental health is really damaged from this past year, I heard him when he said he's overwhelmed, I heard him and take it very seriously that his housing could be fucked, and moreover I heard that he needs a much needed break, whatever that may end up looking like, is up to him, and this week I heard him say he is wanting to give up. Please donate now, please donate next week, and the week after, even if it's a little bit at a time, to keep this sailor afloat. We can't have it any other way.

Let's Show Nogga We GOT HIM!
