What they care about

Chula's Uber is a volunteer pet transport service helping to connect at risk pets to rescues, sanctuaries and adopters

We are getting SO close! I have been shopping like CRAZY trying to find the perfect fit! Our ideal vehicle needs: To have ❄️ AC that reaches the back Be big enough for ALL of the giant dogs ‍ Have good gas mileage for when I'm driving 400 miles in a day or when I'm just running to get 1 kitten Be low enough to load a piggy This is a harder ask than I thought but I think I found the one! PLEASE share our GoFundMe and if you can donate now is the time! Curious who is riding with me? I made these quick graphics to show you the numbers!!
Chula's Uber NEEDS a dedicated transport van! We have an offer of matching funds up to $15,000! I started in the summer of 2025, just me and my little leased Mazda CX-30 trying to help connect at risk pets from shelters to their rescues, foster families and adopters. My lease is up in September and two things are clear: 1. I PROFOUNDLY underestimated the need for rescue transport. 2. My little Mazda is WAY too small In my 1st year I have driven 28,370 miles and I have delivered 655 pets to safety. Those pets have included dogs, cats, pigeons, chickens, pigs and even a goat! I've driven all over Arizona and to California, Texas and New Mexico. I'm not the only vehicle on the road! We have as many as 5 to 10 drivers and vehicles running almost daily! Rescues are still renting vehicles to transport large breed dogs, to move larger groups of pets from seizures and to move increasingly popular backyard barnyard pets like goats and pigs. Those rental costs add up and could be better used for vet bills, training services and spay/neuter clinics If youd like to make a tax deductible donation I am partnering with Hope of Deliverance. Just be sure to designate your donation "Chula's Uber Van" "Saving Pets One Mile at a Time." Shiloh Walkosak
