Our sweet Iris, who joined us very pregnant on Labor Day after being pulled from the elist, is currently undergoing an emergency C-section. She unexpectedly went into labor today, but with no progress, her dedicated foster parent rushed her to the emergency vet. We are immensely grateful she was safe in foster care and not struggling on the streets when this critical situation arose. We're on pins and needles, awaiting updates from the vet and hoping for the best for Iris and her pups.
