<div>I’m reaching out during one of the hardest moments I’ve ever faced. My sweet cat is currently in the emergency hospital being treated for a urinary blockage, a very serious and life-threatening condition. He will need to stay in the ER for several days so the vets can monitor him closely and continue treatment.

<div>He’s only 3 years old and truly the sweetest soul. Anyone who has met him knows how incredibly affectionate, cuddly, and loving he is—he lives for attention and giving love right back. Seeing him go through this has been heartbreaking.

<div>Unfortunately, the cost of emergency care and hospitalization is more than I can handle on my own. I’m doing everything I can to give him the care he needs, but I can’t do it without help.

Help My 3yo Cat Survive Urinary Blockage

<div>Muffin is my lifeline, and my best friend. Recently (amongst some other chronic health issues we have been navigating) I noticed something wasn’t right in her tiny mouth, and started her on an OTC dental health regimen until her vet appointment.

<div>Upon taking her in on 12/5/22, we discovered that she has Gingivitis, and beginning stages of Periodontitis.

<div>I saw with my own eyes, how inflamed and bloody her gum lines were and issues with the surrounding molars when the vet conducted their oral exam.

<div>I was advised that she would need a teeth cleaning and possible extractions as soon as possible, and told I could push it out to maximum 6 months from now before further complications arise.

<div>After about 20 years in the workforce, I had to take a necessary step back, to mitigate my own chronic health issues. I have struggled to find long term steady employment, and am currently unemployed at this time. I have utilized the last of my savings and have depleted the entirety of my retirement funds to cover expenses up until this point.

<div>Muffin also has Inflammatory Bowel Disease (a permanent life long condition) that she is on chronic medication for. In addition, she has a heart murmur.

<div>Because of this, before I can have her put under general anesthesia for the dental procedure, the vet needs to have bloodwork and other testing, as well as ECG to make sure her heart is OK to proceed. This adds additional costs.

For the most part, Monica felt like they came out of that pretty unscathed especially considering Mason typically gets hit hard with things. Since Mason was a baby, he suffers every flu season, even being hospitalized with pneumonia multiple times in his few short years of life. So Monica felt very fortunate that all 3 of her babies suffered very few symptoms and had moved on like nothing happened.

Her COVID fears were over considering they’d already been hit. It started with neck pain, followed by fevers up to 104 and severe exhaustion, then a rash that started on his hands. Monica is so used to Mason getting fevers and being sick, she was very unsure if she should bring him in or not. Normally she would make him a dr appointment and more likely than not, get sent to the hospital for further evaluation… but did I mention the nor’easter that was in full effect and the state of emergency New Jersey was under? Or the part where Monica, an Airforce wife to Raheem who is currently overseas in Turkey, is a Mama of 3 babes and no one could get to her due to the aforementioned blizzard?! Her decision was made for her when Mason’s condition worsened overnight and a phone call to a doctor suggested he had meningitis. She got all 3 kids ready and went out to start her car and I can’t even make this up- her car wouldn’t start and she had a flat tire. So- Hello 911? Ambulance for a party of 4 please.

But located in a different state then his home state. He has had countless tests, they now need to use an ultrasound to locate veins on him, he is lethargic, in and out of consciousness, hooked up to multiple lines, on and off oxygen, swollen, undergone IVIG treatments resulting in fluid on his heart and in his belly, treatments to raise his blood pressure, steroid treatments causing him rage and so much more that I know I am missing.

They are saying there has to be more because even with treatment his condition keeps getting worse. They are now testing him for sepsis. Raheem is coming home on emergency leave, I can’t share more on that just yet for security reasons, but yes he will be able to be by Monica and Mason’s side in the hospital. The other 2 Morton babes are with family in NY that has taken time from work to be Monica’s support system in this terrible nightmare.

That is in addition to meals and travel expenses for Monica and family members caring for Maddox and Nori and all of the back and forth between the 3 states. Not to mention the Morton family car that needs to be repaired or replaced when the family finally gets settled back home. We currently have no timeline for Mason’s discharge from the hospital, but children diagnosed with MIS-C have not had less than a week’s stay. The doctors still know so little about COVID and MIS-C so it has all been a guessing game. The Morton’s February bill money and small savings they have has been depleted and this is just the beginning of expenses they will accrue. Please help out this military family if you can and please keep them in your thoughts and prayers. The Mortons and their village thank you so much and are already blown away by the support through kind words and encouragement.

Our Sweet Boy Mason (MIS-C)

<p>Hello World this morning on January 22, 2021 my mom Samantha Kathleen Brown passed on and God took her up to heaven. She was Kingston High School Class of 1989. She lived a short life of 48 but she beat every statistic that any doctor ever threw her way she was diagnosed with acute intermittent porphyria at the age of 17 they told her she wouldn’t live past 40 she would’ve been 49 this year. Winter of 89’ she was In a horrible car accident that permanently handicapped and disabled her she was supposed to be a quadriplegic but by some miracle she was able to walk. A few years ago she was diagnosed with type two diabetes and really high blood pressure. 6 months ago she had a stroke due to the blood pressure medication for the last six months she’s been having tests done MRIs you name it CT scans nobody can find anything. Growing up we didn’t have much at all and we still don’t really. We come from a big family hard-working family but we just don’t have it right now with the pandemic all of us older kids just started our own families with all newborn to 2 years old and we’re just barely making it by. Any gratitude and appreciation, love, care, anything would help. My deepest sincere appreciation and gratitude goes out to anyone who donates. Yes I know the goal is very very low for the amount of siblings that no longer have a mother but if we make one goal we can always set another! Watch over us mom. We’re gonna make sure you get the service you deserve. I always knew to wanted to be next to grandma. I love you. I’ll see you in heaven one day.

<p>                          Obituary For My Mother:<br />On January 22, 2021 the world lost a beautiful soul. Samantha K. Brown passed away Friday morning peacefully in her sleep. She is survived by her father Thomas J. "Danny" Brown and predeceased by her mother Susan (Rubin) Brown. She is also survived by husband Stephen Gibbs, her son Alex (Kristen) Brown, daughter Kaitlyn (Matt) Loucks, son Anthony (Lena) Brown, son Christopher Gibbs, daughter Susie Gibbs, son Thomas Gibbs, daughter Ashley Gibbs, daughter Sarah Gibbs, stepdaughters Andrea and Jessica Gibbs, stepson Jamie Gibbs, sister Claudia (Larry) Johnson, nephew Chip Johnson, grandchildren Jonny, Emilia, Elaina, Johnathan, Jordan, Mackenzie, Micheal, Lucas, Zachary, her beloved fur babies Molly and Duncan, as well as too many other family and friends to count.<br /><br />Samantha attended nursing classes before she became a full time mother in 1990. She graduated from Kingston High School in 1989. Samantha struggled with medical issues her entire life, but she was always a ray of sunshine in everyone's life that she touched. <p>Christopher entered into rest on January 13, 2021 after a sudden heart attack. He was 28 years old. Chris was an outstanding uncle to his nephew Hayden. He cared about others deeply. Chris had an unforgettable laugh, and a smile like no other. Chris is survived by his parents Katrina and Robert Giza, and his father Vincent McGann, his brother and sisters, Vincent McGann, Jade Rico, Dianna Ryer, Victoria Ryer, Jessica Giza, and his nephews Hayden and Grayson. In this unexpected tragedy any help would be appreciated as no one should have to worry about expenses at this time of loss.

<strong>Rodney will Live Forever in our Hearts</strong><br /><br /><br />On January 2, a beautiful, loving, and kind 14-year-old boy unexpectedly left this earth. Rodney was a quiet, gentle boy who loved his family and was definitely considered a momma's boy. He played bass guitar and saxophone in the school band. He loved nature, especially animals. During his free time, he would take care of his pet turtle “Luigi,” his bird “Bluegaloo,” and his yellow gecko “Banana.” He was always concerned about stray animals and worried for kids that were left by themselves. Rodney was everyone's guardian angel. <br /><br /><br />We still cannot believe that he is gone. It seems like only yesterday Rodney was dancing and laughing with everyone at his great aunt’s 80th birthday.  Rodney’s mom, Adriana, is my first cousin and we have always been close as a family. Before COVID, we would get together at family gatherings on a regular basis. This tragedy has impacted us all extremely hard. <br /><br /><br />In 2019, Rodney was sadly adjusting to his sister going off to college and also entering his last year of middle school. Then, COVID came. Life changed even more dramatically. Rodney lost the connection to his classmates as learning moved online. Transitioning into the first year of high school is very difficult, mentally and emotionally, in and of itself. It is hard to imagine how tough this would be during COVID. As a result, Rodney became more withdrawn. This message is grim but it is a harsh reminder of how important mental health issues are, especially during these unprecedented times. <br /><br /><br />Words cannot express the pain a mother and father feel by having to bury their child. Death, especially a suicide, is unimaginably heart-wrenching. As a parent, you feel responsible. Not only are you heartbroken over the loss of your child, you continually ask yourself, “What did I do wrong, what could I have done?” It is a lot to live with. <br /><br /><br />This fundraising campaign was created in hopes of helping Adriana and Rodney Sr. Moore grieve with minimal financial burden. The family is already overwhelmed by the financial impact of COVID, as many of us are. They need to bury their precious son, grandson, brother, and friend. More specifically, the fundraiser donations will be used to assist with the following expenses: ambulance and ER bills, burial/memorial costs, relocation of the family to a new residence, and financial relief for approximately 3 months to allow them to grieve. Adriana and Rodney will be the beneficiaries of all the donations from this fundraiser. The beneficiaries have authorized me to withdraw the funds from GoFundMe and transfer them into their account. As the family is mourning, they have asked to not be part of handling the transfer of the donations. <br /><br /><br />Your support for his family is greatly needed at this time. Rodney Moore Memorial and Relocation Fund

Recently our good friend Karl got hit by a landscaping truck while on his Harley.  Luckily, he's awake but sustained severe injuries and needs several surgeries. He has a broken orbital bone, fractured jaw, missing teeth, broken arm, femur, and c5 spine injury. For anyone that knows Karl, he's the last person to ask for help--as he lives to help others--but this is a time where we need to all come together to support him.<br />The funds from this page will go to aid Karl and his family with any medical expenses. These next few months are going to be tough mentally and physically so we are trying to help aid in any way possible. Thank you any amount helps!

During birth our <strong>Emilia Grace </strong>daughter got stuck and suffered brain  damage. The neurologist doctors have informed us there was a lack of oxygen to the left side of her brain that controls the movement and learning, there was also a good amount of bleeding on her brain. This was due to her having a newborn stroke. There was a blood clot that traveled to her brain causing the  injuries that lead to the seizures and further complications she’s been having. They do not have all the answers yet on how it could effect her but they have informed us the cerebral palsy is a major possibility and we should be prepared for that. There are other better outcomes but we will not know for months or even years if this will effect her permanently . We do not know how long we will be here in Albany med for but we will not leave our daughter no matter what we will figure it out. All donations will be going to all medical bills for emi and to help her with what ever special needs she might need. Thank you and please keep my daughter in your prayers.

Christina and Shane has went through something no parent should ever go through. May 24,2020 they laid their baby boy down for a nap, and unfortunately he did not wake up. Anthony Jon Gunser was taken from earth due to SIDS. Nobody should have to worry about anything in this time. Mr. Larry, a homeless man in the city of Dallas, Texas received an early Father’s Day gift from local Hairstylist, Tabitha “Mrs.Hotthandz” Lorick On Friday June 13,2019. Tabitha brought Mr. Larry in from off the streets gave him a fresh new haircut, warm shower and clothes to match! He also enjoyed a hearty meal at a local restaurant and a nights stay at a nearby hotel! We are asking for your help financially as we attempt to extend Mr. Larry’s stay at the hotel and have money for food and toiletries during the upcoming months.  I’m reaching out to ask for help for my sister, who is going through a difficult and unexpected pregnancy complication.

 <strong>At just 26 weeks pregnant, she was admitted to the hospital with a pregnancy complication and has been told she will need to remain hospitalized for monitoring until 34 weeks, when she will deliver her baby.</strong>

 That means weeks away from home, away from her fiancé and her son, while carrying the constant worry about her health and her baby’s health.
</div>

 <strong>Unfortunately, despite being unable to work and having a growing family to support, she does not qualify for financial assistance because, in their words, “all her needs are being met” while she is inside the hospital.</strong> But the bills at home don’t stop. And financially, this is only part of the burden. The emotional and mental toll of being hospitalized for weeks, separated from your child and family, is something no mother should have to carry alone.

 <strong>Once the baby arrives, there will still be a long road ahead. Because of how early the baby will be born, a NICU stay is expected, meaning more time apart and even more uncertainty for their family.</strong>

 We are asking for help so my sister can focus on what matters most right now: keeping herself and her baby as healthy as possible. Any amount donated will help ease the financial pressure and allow her to spend these weeks focusing on her health and her baby instead of worrying about how the bills will get paid.
