<div>My name is Arianna, and I’m reaching out for help during a really difficult time. I recently lost my job because I said “Free Palestine.” I want to be clear that I wasn’t antagonizing anyone. I was simply exercising my freedom of speech. Unfortunately, this led to me being let go, and since then, it’s been a struggle to find new employment. Some places have misunderstood me, and I’m worried about being unfairly judged, which has made my job search even harder. I am raising these funds for myself, and all donations will be transferred directly to my personal bank account. They will help cover my basic needs like rent, utilities, groceries, transportation, and other living expenses while I continue searching for work. They will also help me support my family and continue working toward my goal of going to college. I hope to pay it forward by contributing a portion of my future earnings to support families in Palestine. Any help, no matter how small, would mean the world to me. Thank you for taking the time to read my story and for considering a donation or sharing my fundraiser.

<div>Hello, my name is Fatima R. I'm located in AZ and I am spearheading a campaign in support of my friend, Mohammed Qadeeh,
</div>
<div>Mohammed is a resilient young man from Gaza who urgently needs our assistance.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Two years after the beginning of the genocide, our family in Gaza is still standing — by the mercy of God and the kindness of hearts like yours.
</div>
<div>Survival has not been easy. It has been filled with pain and loss. Nineteen beloved family members have been martyred, friends are gone, and their home has been reduced to rubble. They now live among ruins, tanks, and memories of what once was life — pushed to the edge of existence and forgotten by the world.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>After countless displacements, they have settled in Al-Mawasi, in a humble tent within the largest camp in Gaza. Mohammed’s family of 18, including 7 children — two of them just 2 years old — continues to hold on to faith and dignity despite everything.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Their needs are simple, yet vital: food, medicine, milk for the little ones, and a new tent to replace the one damaged by the harsh sun. Winter is here, and they urgently need warmth — blankets, clothing, and protection from the rain and cold.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Together, we can ensure that Mohammed’s family keeps hope alive, that their days are a little softer, and their children can fall asleep with warmth and peace.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>May God bless you and multiply your kindness, just as your compassion keeps this family’s light from fading.
</div>

Stand with The Qadeeh Family, Hope for Gaza Lives!

<div>Hello, my name is Fatima R. I'm based in Mesa, AZ, and I'm spearheading a campaign in support of my friend Mohammed Kali, one of the millions of stories in Gaza...

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>My name is Mohammed. I am 22 years old and from Khan Younis, a city in the southern Gaza Strip.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>I come from a family of six. This war has stripped us of everything: my father was martyred, our home was reduced to rubble, and my future — once so full of promise — now hangs by a thread.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>Before the war, I was a university student majoring in Information Security. I lived a dignified life. I had hope, ambition, and the freedom to dream. Today, my greatest wish is not success or luxury — it’s something far more basic: a safe place to sleep, shelter from the bitter cold and scorching heat, and the chance to resume my education so I can build a future for my mother and younger siblings.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>Every day is a fight for survival. We face constant displacement, hunger, and fear. The famine is real. The war is relentless. And dignity — for many of us — feels like a distant memory.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>Recently, while trying to collect food from American aid convoys — which many here bitterly call “the aid of humiliation” — my younger brother was shot in the hand. He was targeted while simply trying to bring food home. To receive any aid, we often walk 7 kilometers under dangerous conditions. And when we’re lucky enough to return with something, it’s not uncommon for desperate individuals or armed thieves to steal what little we have.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>On top of that, the cost of basic food is rising to impossible levels, even though no income is coming in and salaries have stopped. Here is what we’re facing in Gaza:

</div>

<div>•	Spices: $5

</div>

<div>•	Pasta: $15 small bag

</div>

<div>•	Green pepper: $3

</div>

<div>•	Tomato paste: $7

</div>

<div>•	Flour: $25 Kg

</div>

<div>•	Lentils (1 kg): $9

</div>

<div>•	Onions: Completely unavailable in the markets

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>These are not luxuries — they are the basics families need to survive. But they are either unaffordable or simply don’t exist anymore.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>Please — help me. Help my family.

</div>

<div>We are not statistics. We are human beings. We deserve the right to live in safety, to eat with dignity, to heal from our wounds, and to pursue our dreams — just like anyone else

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>أنا محمد، شاب من مدينة خانيونس في قلب قطاع غزة، أبلغ من العمر 22 عامًا.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>تتكوّن من عائلة مكوّنة من ستة أفراد. لقد سلبتني الحرب كل شيء: استُشهد والدي، وقُصف منزلي، وتحطمت أحلامي أمام عيني.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>كل يوم هو معركة من أجل البقاء. الحرب القاسية، المجاعة المتفشية، والنزوح المستمر أصبحوا واقعنا اليومي.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>أنقذوني أنا وعائلتي من هذا الواقع المؤلم والقاسي.

</div>

<div>نحن بشر، نستحق أن نعيش، أن نأكل، أن ندرس، أن نتعالج، وأن نحلم.

</div>

Support Mohammed: A Student's Fight for Survival

</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Hier eine Beschreibung von Eddy Salvado!
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Hier noch ein paar Worte von Eddy persönlich:
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Hello, I am Marcel Stefanescu from Germany and I support a total of 3 aid organizations in Africa and Uganda. I check each organization beforehand to the best of my knowledge and belief. I send every € to Uganda and do not keep any money for myself. My help comes from Christian charity for the poor people in Africa.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Here is a description of Eddy Salvado!
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Eddy is a carpenter and works from Monday to Friday. Together with his brother, he looks after 27 homeless street children who live with him every day. Eddy is a devout Christian and reads the Bible with the children and prays with them. He tries to prepare the children well for life and to give them good values. As with all children, there are many fees such as clothing, school fees, school supplies, food, drink and everything that children need to live.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Here are a few words from Eddy himself:
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>My name is Eddy Salvado from Uganda and I am a man who does not want to see children suffer. I came with the aim of working with rural communities and improving the quality of life of vulnerable children such as orphans and street children. This is achieved by providing support through rent, food, education, health and livelihood programs. I thank all donors for the support and God bless.

<div>My name is Angela Gomez, and I reside in Arizona, USA. I am reaching out with a heartfelt request for support on behalf of our dear friends, the Abu Daqqa family, who have managed to escape the war-torn region of Gaza, Palestine, albeit partially. Here is their story.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>This wonderful family of nine consists of Photojournalist Mohammed, Shahd, and their seven children: Dana, 14; Alma, 13; Tina, 12; Maria, 9; and the twins, Adi and Amr, both 4, along with their youngest, Tim, who is just 3. Like many families in Gaza, they were abruptly forced from their home, leaving behind everything except the clothes they were wearing. Tragically, the area they believed to be safe was later struck by an airstrike, resulting in the loss of Shahd's sister and aunt. In distinct moments of sorrow, Mohammed also experienced the heartbreaking loss of his cherished older brother Photojournalist Samer Abu Daqqa.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>After that Mohammed took it upon himself to ensure his family's safety, spending every last dollar on exorbitant application fees to facilitate their escape, which amounted to $5,000 for adults and $2,500 for children, totaling $22,000. Unfortunately, this sum did not cover the additional costs associated with his evacuation.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>As of now, Mohammed remains in Gaza, and the current cost for his evacuation would be around $15,000, contingent upon the reopening of the Rafah crossing, which was destroyed in May 2024. There is no clear timeline for when it might reopen for those who can afford to leave safely.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>At this moment, the family has lost everything in Gaza. Their beloved home has been reduced to rubble, along with their vehicles and cherished pets. All the familiar comforts and loved ones have been taken from them. Meanwhile, Shahd is left to care for their seven children alone, waiting for the day they can be reunited. The situation in Gaza continues to deteriorate, and we are nearing the one-year mark of this crisis. While we remain hopeful for Mohammed's safe passage, the harsh reality is that no one can leave, and safety feels increasingly elusive.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Given these circumstances, Shahd wishes to relocate closer to family who can help her raise their seven children.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Below is a detailed overview of the expenses involved in relocating all nine family members. It’s important to remember that they have lost everything they owned and will be starting anew.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>$15,000 - Evacuation for Mohammed
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>$2,700 - Flights for nine to Belgium
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>$700 - Luggage
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>$9,000 - Winter clothing for nine, as the average temperature in Belgium is 44⁰ degrees.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>$14,000 - Rent for a home for at least a year while they work on finding employment and schools for the children
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>$30,000 - Miscellaneous costs, including beds, furniture, food, and daily essentials for survival.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>If you feel moved to contribute but are unable to do so, please consider sharing this fundraiser with others in your community who may be able to help. Thank you for your kindness and support!

<div>My name is Sameera, I'm 22 years old, from Northern Gaza. We live in a tent under unimaginable circumstances. I am reaching out with a heart full of gratitude for your past support. It has truly been a lifeline for me and my family in our darkest days.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Today, our situation has become even more desperate. Every single donation, no matter how small, helps keep my nephew safe, fed, and sheltered. Without your kindness, we truly have no means to survive.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>I must also share with you that I have not yet been able to evacuate to the so-called “safe area” in southern Gaza, simply because I cannot afford the transportation costs. We remain trapped here, hoping and praying for relief.

<div><br />

<div>I know times are difficult for everyone, but your compassion has the power to protect a family on the brink of losing everything.

<div>There are 6 members in my family: me, my father, my mother, who is elderly, and my sister, who has two children. I am the youngest unit in the family, but I am the one who takes care of them because my father cannot work. My mother is an elderly woman who suffers from diabetes and high blood pressure. She needs a laser operation. Recently, my mother broke her leg due to the lack of lighting because there has been no electricity in the northern Gaza Strip since October 7th. I don't have the money to provide her with medicine. The price doubled. My father is old and suffers from a stroke in his leg, and he is unable to walk well. We don't have money. We did not receive any financial assistance. We don't have a battery or solar power to get light and charge my cell phone. I go great distances to charge my phone in the street. I suffer from malnutrition due to the lack of healthy food, and if it is available, it is at exorbitant prices. We cannot buy it. In the north, specifically, we suffered two months before the famine, which means that we were unable to obtain white flour due to high levels of food. Its price. We ate animal feed. We have not eaten healthy food since the beginning of the war. I suffer from stress and fear as a result of insecurity. Also, after I lost my brother in the war, my psychological state worsened.

<div><br />
</div>
<div>My life was beautiful before October 7th. I would go to my university and learn. My life was luxurious, and I went for walks. Now my life has been turned upside down. There is no education or study. I also feel frustrated and afraid because of the constant bombing. I do not feel safe. I am afraid of losing someone from my family. I hope to continue my studies, graduate, and take care of my family. Before the war, I dreamed of graduating and getting a job. My dreams were big before October 7. My dreams changed. After the war, my biggest dream was to charge my phone at home, light up the house for my mother, eat healthy food, and feel safe.
</div>
<div><br />
</div><img alt="" media_type="3" src="https://d2g8igdw686xgo.cloudfront.net/80676545_171807236997407_r." width="100%" />
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Our life was very beautiful. I had my beautiful home and my friends. Now the war came and stole all of that from me. There was nothing left for me. Death passed before my eyes many times. I lost people from my family, and I could not say goodbye to them. Our beautiful house was destroyed, and we were displaced several times to shelter centers. It was not enough. The enemy has destroyed our region. There are no necessities for life. I am afraid that massacres will happen again.

</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Hello
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>I am Mohanad from Gaza. My wife has been living with her family since the beginning of the war because I was busy working and bringing you the news from my home town to open the worlds eyes to the atrocities that have been committed against us by the occupational forces.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Their house is in the Al Salam neighborhood, east of Rafah It was destroyed by planes and bombed, and there was no house left My father-in-law died in 2016 of cancer The family consists of 8 people, most of whom are girls Among them, 3 are under 18 years old They don't have a salary No breadwinner and they are totally at their wits end with experiencing pain after pain and loss after loss. There is no food no water no hope no sanity.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>They suffer from bad conditions, about ten days ago, the occupation destroyed their house. Never have they felt so broken years and years of memories hours of time spent working to build it brick to brick. Now they live in a tent west of Khan Yunis, accompanied by my wife and daughter Sham.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>In addition I have my family; My family consists of 6 people Including my mother, father, and 3 brothers I have a sister and her one-year-old child. Our family is broken shattered and often we despair thinking will this be the final moments we see, homeless and hopeless no food water sanitation or safety. Is this how it’s going to end.
</div>

To protect Muhannad and help his family survive

<div>I am <strong>Journalist Ahmad Ghanim</strong>. I would like to call upon your humanity to help me and my family evacuate a prison we have been in for all our lives but now this prison is on fire under constant bombardment of high tech bombs which are blowing our people, our elderly our children, our loved ones, our babies to pieces.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Although initially not wanting to leave our motherland and the land of the holy prophets. After witnessing with my own eyes the death and devastation and seeing friends murdered and blown to pieces, children die of cold, screaming children having limbs amputated with no anaesthetic, starvation killing the elderly and diseases spreading like wildfire. After the whole of Gaza has been reduced to a sliver of land where 1 bomb would kill thousands I am now, not as confidant that my decision is the correct one. I can not bare to see my children die of cold or starvation or freeze to death or live like orphans, I can’t bare to see my parents suffer a fate similar to the many elderly I have seen. So I am ready to leave a land which was once my home in the hope that my children have life and one day we can return. But if they have no life no land will satisfy me.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>This evacuation fundraiser is for my parents, my entire family, my mother, my brother, my sister, her family, and my nephews, whose father my brother was killed by the occupation during the 2014 war, in addition to my wife and children.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Even if ceasefire occurs the humanitarian conditions are such that this area is no way safe for my family in any way, corpses rot on every corner, diseases are spreading like wildfire and starvation is rife. I need my family to leave for safety ceasefire or not so they remain healthy and well enough so I can they can return when I start the rebuild of my house and this situation resolves.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>People of the world I beg your humanity, because I experienced the feeling of loss and deprivation when I lost my big brother Muhammad, who was martyred in 2014. At that time, the family and I suffered a great shock, and we still remember his beautiful life, his joy, his smile, his jokes his love and his laughs. I cannot fathom the unbearable pain we went through after losing my brother and I fear if I stay here that I will lose everyone.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>I would like to evacuate my entire family from Gaza because I cannot live without them, and as a journalist I do not want to live just to convey the news that someone has been harmed or murdered or brutally maimed having no ability to help these innocent people. Damaged for the rest of their lives. I have shown the world more than enough and yet this still isn’t stopping.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>My family deserves life. My patient father, my patient mother, and my brothers and sisters all deserve to live with love, away from the danger of death, shells, and missiles.
</div>
<div>I want to meet all of them again without losing anyone, so I want to evacuate them so that I can do my job, as I work under great anxiety and stress for them.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>I need your help your humanity to save me from the pain I can see is inevitable and help me leave so I can at least have some life some hope some joy some security even if it is for the last few days of my life.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>I have full faith you will help with my mission to save the lives of my family. Its all we have left until we can return again to build our home.
</div>

<div>May god bless you all

Urgent Evacuation-Journalist Ahmad & Family

<div>I am a Photojournalist and Sound Engineer Wissam Balousha
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>I want to tell you my story and request your help in building my home which was destroyed savagely by the occupation and reduced to nothing but rubble.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><br />
</div><img alt="" media_type="3" src="https://d2g8igdw686xgo.cloudfront.net/78137937_1707316966381256_r." width="100%" />
<div><br />
</div>
<div>My house... My home.. My happy place, My retreat .. although to others may seem small in area and not much of a palace, however to me and my family it was a big piece of heaven. It was where we grew up as children, where my babies took their first steps and had their magical firsts, like taking their first step, like riding their bike for the first time.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Secondary to relentless bombing and terror inflicted on innocent civilians our big piece of heaven was reduced to ashes. A home, our memories, our treasured heaven turned to hell. The massacre destroyed everything and took from us not only our house but our loved ones, our livelihoods, our jobs, our smiles, our hopes and dreams, our small comforts and tiny joys
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>We had so many beautiful memories, I built my house with so much love so much care. Blood sweat and tears went into laying down every brick. All of the love and effort taken from us in seconds. All we feel now is a gut wrenching heartache, fatigue and abandonment. Homelessness is not the only issue, fighting the elements and living in tents would be ok for me but I live in an extended family. My family include, my mother, my brother and his family all of them lived in this house. A total of fifteen people and 3 generations.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Seven of my family members are under the age of twelve. Can you imagine a childhood of death devastation and destruction and having nowhere to call home. No bed to lie your head on, no home to call your own, to protect you from the cold and rain. Unfortunately we do not need to imagine because this is our reality.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>We had the nicest time, in our house, our home, our heaven. There we cooked, played, celebrated birthdays. My two children were born in our heavenly home both of my children have had to witness their whole neighbourhood destroyed, their schools bombed, their homes not only destroyed but then ravaged and pillaged by snipers who took their toys and laughed and played with them.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Living through a massacre a war for a child is pain enough but to then be further robbed of a home is the most gut wrenching feeling anyone could ever imagine. We are living this nightmare.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Today we are all in a tent in a shelter. We feel cold every night, exposed to the elements this winter we have all been sick and suffered from illness after illness.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>We are all lost without our home and this bitterness of loss will remain painted on our hearts. Those bricks had spirits that carried our beautiful memories. Every brick in it carried a story, a novel of love kindness care and unity of our family. We know it's just bricks stone and mortar that can be built at some point but when you live this reality and see what we have seen you will understand a new house can be built but will it feel like a home, will those bricks carry our old memories. The answer is no. Even if we build a new house we lose .
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>We'll have to build new memories in the house but will we have a house. We will if you lovely people get together and help us.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Memories of the past will always haunt us .. The fear will remain in our hearts and we will feel the bitterness of loss again because of the situation in which we live in. I really hope that this nightmare will end and peace and tranquillity will reign, and I certainly hope that I will have enough time and enough years of life so that I can with your help rebuild again and make some new memories for my children.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>This won’t be easy, this won’t be quick but with your help and humanity we can maybe have some hope of a future together not dying in the cold in a tent feeling sick and homeless and broken.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>May god bless you for just reading this. As hard as it is we believe that maybe one day we will have a home and your kindness and humanity is what is feeding that belief.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Many thanks for taking the time to read my story and for helping in any way you can.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Best regards and eternal blessings

Home Rebuild - Photojournalist Wesam Balousha

<div>Hello.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>My name is Wesam Balousha. I work as a photojournalist and sound engineer located in Gaza.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>I live and work in the Gaza Strip. Life has taken a drastic turn for the worse and our lives have been turned upside down with the sounds of screams and pain, with non stop bombardment. Broken limbs blown up children and destroyed homes.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Today I say enough is enough. I do not want my children my family those I love to suffer the same dire fate that so many innocent civillians have. I cannot bare to watch my babies die or suffer the trauma of losing us. They have seen as children what war veterans are afraid to see. A lifetime of therapy won’t cure what they have gone through and witnessed. So I’m not allowing them to see any more.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>I am trying to evacuate my family. Because of the frenzied war on Gaza. My family, which consists of fifteen members, half of whom are children, has been displaced again and again from one house to the next from tent to tent and often with hardly any clothes no food no winter wear.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>From time to time, we move from one place to another in search of safety. Safety does not exist only terror, death, destruction, starvation and war torn land. No love no hope and pure devastation.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Safety ceases to exist in Gaza. Therefore, we are now looking for a place outside Gaza to find a spec of safety for the rest of our lives maybe we can have some moments of peace that may undo what we have gone through. May be undo it a little or just enough so that we don’t have nightmares of death and worry every moment that this will be our last.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Perhaps we will not have enough time to leave. Perhaps this is a wasted effort as at any moment ITF could raid Rafah and we will be exposed to death or worse injury with no medicine anaesthetic or hospitals. Unfortunately a fate worse than death.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>However we put our last smidgen of hope in you, the people, as perhaps through your help we can escape to safety in some way.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>If you can’t donate please share our message with others who can. Just share our message as it may be the last message we send out.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Thank you from the depths of my heart for caring, reading understanding and trying to remove our pain with a glimmer of hope.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>May god bless you all.

Evacuation - Photojournalist Wesam & Family

<div>Hello
</div>
<div>My name is Azra Akhtar. I am helping my friend Journalist Adli Taha help evacuate his family out of a terrible situation in Gaza. the funds will be used to pay for Adli his wife mum and son to evacuate across the Rafah border to safety in Egypt.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Here is his story.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>My name is Adli Mohammed Mostafa Abu Taha. I’ve been a freelance journalist since 2013. Currently, I am a correspondent for Al Kuffeyeh Channel in Gaza since 2017.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>With the beginning of the war on Gaza, I’ve worked for a number of channels (Al-Jazeera, Al-Sharq, CBC) as a preparer of reports and stories. I need to evacuate my family which includes me (33), my wife (26), my baby boy Zein (4 months) and my mother who suffers from high blood pressure (60).
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>I’ve been through 6 wars in Gaza from years 2008 to the 2023 genocidal massacre which is still ongoing; I’ve also been through the Aqsa Intifada from years 2000 to 2005.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Since the beginning of this genocide on Gaza, the journalists have been facing a major threat and many of my colleagues have unfortunately been martyred for no reason other than wanting to tell their story to the world. The highest price you can pay for free speech, and they and their family paid it.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Personally, I sustained a hand injury while I was covering one of the attacks on a residential building. My house has been partially destroyed as well due to a nearby attack it is currently inhabitable despite a few walls still standing. I lost many of my relatives and friends and this is why I have decided to evacuate. I decided to evacuate to protect my family and child, the child I was blessed with on the 4th day of the genocide on 11-10-2023. He’s 4 months old now and I fear for my family that is surrounded by the sounds of death and destruction. These funds will be used to evacuate my family across the border to Egypt.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>My mental health is in tatters and to be honest I do not think I will ever recover after the atrocities I have seen laid before my eyes. My families mental health is obliterated and it’s getting worse by the day, not to mention my mother who is seriously sick and needs treatment and special care for a multitude of illnesses. I need to protect them from the threat of death especially after the announcement of the possible ground invasion on Rafah, which is where I reside. We have limited time a matter of days possibly a week who knows. So I need your help so I can start hoping again as currently I have little faith in the humanity help me restore it by saving my young family. We have committed no crime no sin apart from being Palestinian. So please help in giving my family a hope of a future without disease, starvation, massacres and bombs.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>I will forever be indebted to you for helping my family evacuate and have some hope of peace.
</div>

Emergency Evacuation - Journalist Adli & Family

<div> Zuzu, Zoe, and Kate are currently raising funds to assist a 24-year-old Palestinian in evacuating Gaza. Gaza is currently under siege, and our friend Omar finds himself stranded in the South alone, facing numerous challenges. He struggles to access basic necessities such as food, given soaring prices and an inability to work amid these dire circumstances.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>In 2008, he sustained severe injuries, including burn wounds, during previous conflicts. With local hospitals either nonfunctional or overwhelmed with new casualties, Omar is unable to receive the ongoing medical care he desperately needs near his home. In light of these circumstances, the aim is to raise sufficient funds to facilitate Omar's safe passage to Egypt. He believes it is no longer safe for him to remain in the South, as was communicated previously.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>The collected funds will be deposited into a US bank account and subsequently transferred to his account. These funds will be utilized to meet Omar's basic needs as well as for evacuation purposes. The money will be sent to pay a travel agency in Egypt, which will coordinate Omar's evacuation. Furthermore, once Omar can cross the border, the funds will cover his accommodation while seeking ongoing medical treatment.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>The funds raised will be used for the following purposes:

</div>

<ul>

<li>To evacuate Omar Hamdi Arshi

</li>

<li>Meet Omar’s basic needs while awaiting evacuation. This will include food, water, medicine, medical needs, and other basic needs.

</li>

<li>Help Omar have a place to stay and food to eat upon evacuation into Egypt.

</li>

<li>Transportation costs within Egypt

</li>

</ul>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>Here is a letter from Omar ( As translated by Zuzu):

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>Hello, my name is Omar Hamdi Arshi

</div>

<div>I am a Gazan who has been displaced from the North of Gaza to Rafah. I am no stranger to hardship. In 2008, I sustained severe injuries and burns on my back and arm during a previous war, requiring medical attention until 2016. That same year, my father passed away, leaving me as the sole provider for my family. Recently, I invested my savings in a business plan that was set to launch when the current war erupted, resulting in the loss of everything – family members, friends, home, savings, job, and future plans. I am currently separated from my family, who are still trapped in the North of Gaza. Every day is a struggle to find basic necessities while also seeking ways to aid my family.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>In addition to the mental burden, my past injuries have resurfaced, requiring medical attention. Amidst this uncertainty, rebuilding my life seems impossible, but the thought of my family needing me keeps me going. I aim to evacuate for medical help and to resume supporting my family. I yearn to piece my life back together. Sharing this campaign and contributing, no matter how small, is very helpful, as our situation gets worse by the day. Your support means everything to me.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>Alhamdulillah (thank God) for everything.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

Stand With Omar ! Secure His Path to Safety

<div>Thank you so much for coming to support this GoFundMe. My name is Dex Davis. I am a humble Texan who has had the pleasure of befriending an amazing Gazan journalist and hero Mohammed AlTanany. This is the plea of his heart as well as my own. Please take time to read his story.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>My name is Mohammed AlTanany. I am 36 years old. My wife Senin and I have three beautiful children Adam (6), Rita (3), and Deyyar (2).

<div><br />
</div>
<div>I have been working as a journalist, photographer, and video editor since 2007. During the heat of the 2008 conflict, while reporting, I was injured on the head by shrapnel from a bombing. I love telling the stories of my people and take my job very seriously. I am internationally recognized as a journalist. I have worked for channels all across the globe including:
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<ul>
<li>The German ZDF
</li>
<li>The Dubai Satellite Channel
</li>
<li>The Egyptian Cairo News Channel
</li>
<li>The Russian RT Channel
</li>
<li>The Al Jazeera English
</li>
<li>The Almamlakatv of Jordan and many more channels.

<div><br />
</div>
<div>However, during this conflict, I have watched as over 100 journalists and friends have lost their lives or the lives of their loved ones while showing the truth of our situation to the world.
</div>
<div><br />

<div><br />

<div><br />
</div>
<div>My oldest son, Adam, has not been able to attend school in months. Most recently my youngest son, Deyyar, was hospitalized for several days due to the harsh conditions here. My wife Senin needs an urgent vaginal operation and medication due to blood cysts. Doctors no longer have the ability to treat her here. Gaza is in crisis. We have neither clean water nor sufficient food, and disease is rampant due to a lack of critical medical supplies.

<div><br />
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>These risks are something my family can no longer endure. As I am writing this, the phone lines and internet are down. My heart is sick with worry from not being able to check in on my wife and children. It is maddening that I must keep the ones I love away from me for their safety. I am unable to hug or hold them and comfort them.

</div>
<div>I had a wonderful life and a beautiful home in Gaza City which is now little more than an empty shell. The photos below are from the beginning of the conflict. Our home was destroyed by bombing. I cannot reach it and take pictures of the rubble; it is because of the presence of tanks and Ahandtalal soldiers in the area where I live.

<div><br />
</div>
<div>During this siege, we have been displaced six times, unable to find rest or safety anywhere. This is why I plead with you to help raise the funds needed for my family to leave Gaza and begin anew elsewhere. After months of pleas from Canadians with extended family members in the war zone, Immigration Canadian Minister Marc Miller announced the new temporary visa program for people in the Gaza Strip who have Canadian relatives. I want to take my family to Canada and start fresh.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>The costs of leaving Gaza are great. Expenses of leaving Gaza are between 2,500.00 and 5,000.00 dollars per person regardless the age, to be allowed out of Gaza. This does not include processing fees of $2,000 per person, $2,000 for transportation, and a 2.9% commission fee. These are estimates based on many sources here on the ground and outside of Gaza.
</div>

<div>The total after all calculations and careful consideration that we will need is $60,000.00 dollars. This number may seem large but together we can achieve anything. Please consider donating to help save lives. This situation, the danger, and the hardship are beyond explanation. We count our life a blessing with every minute that passes as that is how quickly the situation can change. The stench in the air from death and chemicals is unimaginable just a moment here costs blood and lives.
