Hi, my name is Mildred and I am in need of help to buy a used car and pay for some medicine. I was hit by a semi truck and suffered a traumatic brain injury, which has left me with a disability. Many days, I am unable to get out of bed, and without seeing my doctor, I cannot get the medication I need to function and do my day-to-day tasks.

Without my medication, I am not able to function properly, and it affects every aspect of my life. I am very lucky to be alive and thank God every day, even though things are difficult now.

<div>I want to start this GFM off by being completely transparent. This isn’t the first one that I have made. The first GFM I started in April of 2024 around the time my son was initially diagnosed that GFM was accepting donations for over a year and brought in around $6,500 and I’m so beyond thankful because at that time I don’t know how I would’ve made it. Kade was hospitalized during his induction period because he had sepsis, 2 blood clots in his lung and 1 in his spleen. Than he had severe mucusitis that caused a partial rectal prolapse. I’m still so grateful for the people that donated. I was working 2 months prior to Kades diagnosis but I was let go because he was constantly getting sick, hospitalized with RSV, etc.

<div>In March of 2025 I thought Kade was doing so much better everything seemed fine and then Kade ended up having what I learned was a seizure and the ambulance took him to the closest ER. He ended up having a seizure in front of the doctor and his O2 dropped down to 50. I genuinely thought I was gonna lose him this time. But God pulled through for us once again. They found a grey area in his brain we still don’t know what is all we know is it isn’t cancerous and that’s the best news for us. I started working again on two seperate occasions but both times I was let go because of it was based off of a point system and they couldn’t accommodate to the time I needed for sons apts, I also had a dental emergency so with everything as a whole it was just to much for the employers and I get it…a quick example is when my son gets a fever if it’s over a certain temp I have to bring him in.. With Kade being sick and taking meds for the seizures on top of having a rescue med that’s a rectal gel we don’t have to a “big village” we don’t have many people we can rely on day to day. (I grew up in and out of foster care so besides my sisters I don’t feel like I have a bond with my family like they do each other).

<div>Kade has a projected end of treatment date which is July of 2026. He currently has a port and a GTUBE which I use for giving Kade his meds. He takes oral chemo every single day twice daily another type of chemo every Friday, 2 different daily meds twice a day for seizures, a med to help fight infection along with a steroid.
</div>
<div>The people that do help with Kade and myself I’m beyond thankful for. It’s been a year and a half since Kades diagnosis.. there’s been ups and downs..but at the end of the day my baby is still here and for that I’m truly so blessed.
</div>
<div>But we would really benefit from the community seeing us, hearing us, praying for us, and showing up for us.
</div>

Support Kade's Ongoing Medical Journey

<div>On Saturday, March 23rd, during a vacation in Cabo San Lucas with family and friends, Mat experienced a medical emergency while scuba diving. He was promptly hospitalized in the ICU, where he remained in a medically induced coma until he was stable enough for transfer to the United States. Late on Wednesday, March 27th, he was airlifted to UC San Diego for ongoing evaluation and treatment. Throughout this harrowing ordeal, Sara has remained by his side. Mat's mother and sister are now in San Diego as well. Their children are now back home with family.

<div>Many have reached out and expressed wanting to assist the Rolando family, prompting us, with Sara's approval, to create this fundraiser. Although the Rolandos have medical insurance, the costs associated with Mat's care have proven overwhelming. They were unexpectedly required to make upfront cash payments to cover Mat's ICU hospitalization in Mexico, as well as for his medical evacuation to the United States.

<div>A year and a half ago I was diagnosed with a rare cancer called Ocular Melanoma. My right eye was removed and based on the sporadic nature of this cancer and the pathology results of my tumor, I knew there was a higher chance that it would spread in 3-5 years.

<div>It's 1.5 years post-diagnosis and this month it was officially confirmed that this disease has spread to my liver. Calling it stage 4 doesn't feel at home in my mind but I know medically, with 14 lesions on my liver, that's what it is. There are clinical trials that I am exploring which would require extensive travel in the coming months, and a host of alternative therapies that are my best options for healing-- all of which medical insurance won't touch. Ryan and I have taken great care to assemble the best medical support team I can find including my retina specialist, oculoplastic surgeon, spinal network chiropractor, medical oncologist, integrative oncologist, and more.

<p>Hi everyone, my name is Angela and I need your support in helping my loving boyfriend Jake Kirchhof and his family as he navigates with on going health issues and financial hardship due to Covid. Jake is a loving boyfriend, brother, son and father of three . In early May 2021, Jake contracted Covid, and it was the most devastating time of our lives. We watched in anguish, as he fought for his life, alone in a hospital from his loved ones as the virus ravaged his lungs and body. With the miracle of the doctors and nurses, they saved his life.

<p>Jake has a long road to recovery, and as he recovers we are finding some difficulties along the path to recovery. We had hoped that his workplace would be able to assist, however it does not appear to be the case. The medical bills have started arriving, and while he fights everyday to return to work and back to normal not everything is panning out as it should. The bills continue to mount as Jake goes to doctors more frequently now to receive help for his lungs, and has no income coming in.

<p>Raising money through GoFundMe and asking for financial help is not something that is being taken lightly. Jake is very proud and does not like to ask for help, but we as his family are asking for help. Jake always puts others needs before his own and always foregoes things in life so his children and family are happy. Everyday is more and more worrisome for him how he is going to get by, not currently receiving an income and needing to take care of his children, dog and home. He worries every day, that he will lose his home, not be able to buy groceries for his kids and himself, and we want to help take that worry away so he can focus on recovery to return to work.

<br /><strong> "Though war break out against me I will be confident" - Psalm 23:7</strong><br /><br /> Battling breast cancer has been and will be challenging physically, emotional, spiritually, and financially.  We are determined to ease Tammy’s burden in each of these areas so that she can focus all her energy and strength on HEALING.  The purpose of this page is to ask for your FINANCIAL support.  Tammy will not be able to work throughout her course of treatments – in total about 8 months.  Medical bills, COBRA insurance payments, and a drastic decrease in income will create a mountain of financial burden for this single mom.  This burden is a literal weight on Tammy’s shoulders, and if we could each take just a fraction of that weight and place it on our own shoulders, we may not even feel the impact – but Tammy will. She will feel the relief of weight lifted, she will feel strength from your support, and she will have a renewed focus on HEALING with each gift.  Please, consider donating and being a part of Tammy’s journey.  <br /><br />You can follow her along the way through her Facebook page.  A brief summary of the journey so far is below:<br /> <br />November 30th, 2020 my dear friend Tammy’s world turned upside down when she heard the terrifying words “You have breast cancer.”<br /><br />The day after the breast cancer diagnosis everything changed; there have been so many appointments and so much information. I don’t believe anyone wants to learn this much about cancer!  Tammy has triple positive breast cancer, which means she is positive for the HER2 mutation, is estrogen receptor positive, and progesterone receptor positive.  In short, this means that Tammy’s cancer is very aggressive, but also very treatable because targeted therapies exist today.  The survival odds are great because she caught it so early! (Get your mammograms, ladies!)  Tammy’s best chance at survival is to undergo surgery to remove the tumor, chemo to kill any possible remaining cancer cells in her body, and then radiation to make sure it is gone from her breast. All this will be followed by hormone therapy for 5 years to ensure that this cancer does not return.<br /><br />Surgery was performed January 15th with great success.  The tumor and the lymph nodes removed were clear! Great news, yet this did not change her treatment plan. Chemotherapy is the next step 3 months of weekly treatment at Mayo Clinic in Rochester. Radiation will follow for 4-5 weeks daily and finally 5 years of endocrine hormone therapy. This is not a sprint but a marathon! <br /><br />Chemotherapy will begin February 16th with placement of a port followed by her 1st round of treatment on the 17th. We are all praying the side effects will be mild but until we begin this step there are many unknowns.<br /><br />Tammy’s career as a flight attendant, which she loves, exposes her to so many different viruses, germs, and now add Covid to the list the risks are real. Chemotherapy will compromise Tammy’s immune system and her Oncologist was VERY clear that Tammy cannot fly for 6-8 months for her own health and safety. <br /><br />All that know Tammy know she is a fighter, speaker of truth and one of the most compassionate people you will find!  As a single mom, we (and she) hoped she would be able to work during some of this journey, to pay her bills, and provide for her daughter and simply buy groceries!  Unfortunately, that will not be the case and because she can’t work at all, her income will decrease AND she will have to pay a COBRA insurance premium (nearly 11 x her regular premium) on top of medical bills and normal expenses. All these everyday worries are exactly what this page is for.<br /><br />So many of you have asked how they can help, first and foremost please PRAY for complete healing and peace as she climbs this mountain in front of her! Cards, texts and messages also brighten her days more than you know! House Explosion Leaves Family in Desperate Need

<br />During the early morning hours of October 31st, 2020 Ashley Dawn Myers was taken from this world when the vehicle she was a passenger in, lost control and collided head on with a tree. Her fiance Logan Fowler was Life Flighted to University Hospital. Hello friends and family, we NEED you! As many of you know Angie was diagnosed with breast cancer 2 1/2 years ago during her pregnancy. Angie was able to receive treatments and surgery and beat cancer for a short time. Unfortunately her cancer has reappeared and it is more complex and comes with more uncertainty. Angie has been diagnosed with triple negative breast cancer, which has appeared in her spinal fluid, only 3% of breast cancer survivors get diagnosed with this. In Angie fashion, her spirits are strong and she is ready to fight and kick cancer a second time. Treatments will be more intense and require more hospital stays. Due to covid only Jeremie is allowed to visit her in the hospital. Due to Angie being unable to work and Jeremie needing to be by her side, this will have a significant financial impact on the family with loss of income and medical bills.
