My name is Viktor I'm a disabled trans guy who has a connective tissue disorder called Ehlers Danlos Syndrome, because of it is also deal with a lot of comorbibities (,Functional Nurological,Disorder , Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome, focal Distonia, Chronic tension headaches, migraines, pnes, Chronic fatigue Chiari brain malformation, mcas, Orthostatic Hypotension, pmdd, cervical cranial instabiliability,) which cause me issues and require me to use a wheelchair a lot of the time. I faint, I have seizures, I dislocate and sublux my joints all the time and many many other issues.

<div>Hi everyone! I have never made a GoFundMe , but I feel that in this circumstance it is appropriate. I have an elderly friend named Donald who is 90 years old (91 in August!). He is also a disabled veteran (Airforce) who is taking care of his wife who just got diagnosed with dementia. They never had kids and they don't have any family left. He is the sweetest old man you could ever meet and loves his wife dearly. He takes care of her around the clock and his landlord is raising their rent and he is falling behind terribly with all of his bills. He's deathly afraid he's going to be displaced and that they are going to make his wife go to a home. I'm currently looking to find him a new place to rent that is within his budget, but I was hoping I could fundraise some money to lessen his load of financial stress. Any amount would help and any resources for a one bedroom first floor apartment or house to rent would be much appreciated in the Manchester area. Help my elderly vet friend Donald!

<div>Corbin Wallace was driving back to his summer job at Lake Powell from his home in Montrose last Sunday, June 23rd, when he lost control of his vehicle and was involved in a rollover accident. A passerby stopped to offer assistance and call EMS, but before medics arrived on scene, Corbin's vehicle was struck by a car from oncoming traffic before he could be extracted from his truck. His injuries were extensive and it has been a traumatic ordeal for Corbin and his family. Corbin has had to be airlifted twice; once to St. Mary's hospital in Grand Junction to be stabilized, and then again to Denver, where he has undergone surgeries for his spine and shattered pelvis. We are so thankful that Corbin has maintained his personality and sense of humor, as well as a strength and sweetness that makes him a nurse's favorite in the ICU.

<div>However, now the recovery begins, and all of those helicopter rides and restorative procedures come at a pretty significant cost - both financially and in the form of time and lost wages; he is likely going to be in Denver for at least a few more weeks, and will require months of Physical Therapy and initially full-time care at home. Many people have asked how they can help and we feel like this is the best way to help Corbin get back to being the recent high school graduate that he is, and back to starting his adult life on the path that he was on before the accident.

Sarah Wenz is a wonderful mother to Will and Rainer, a caring wife to Dan, and one of the nicest people you have ever met. Unfortunately, she has been diagnosed with advanced Brain, Lung, and Breast Cancer. To fight and beat this horrible disease Sarah will have to travel several times to the MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, TX. Plus, she will have several treatments in Albuquerque.

<div>To put it simply folks, the Wenz family needs our support to defeat this disease. These funds will go directly to assist with medical and travel expenses. Plus, any living expenses as Dan accompanies Sarah for her treatments in Albuquerque and Houston.

<div>I'm reaching out with something heavy on my heart about my mum, and it's not an easy story to share.

<div>Meet my mum, shes 45 and been married to my dad since they were practically kids at 15. Together, they built a life with us four kids, and recently, the newest joy in our lives, my daughter Lotus, Mums first grandchild.
</div>

</div>
<div>Mum is a hard worker, known for her great work ethic, unwavering loyalty and an outstanding reputation in our community. You might even recognize her as the strong, fit lady at the gym, living a healthy and active lifestyle, and competing as a female figure bodybuilder.
</div>

<div>In Jan 2023 Mum began experiencing Dysphagia, eating was a real challenge. At first she thought it was just indigestion and heartburn until it reached the point where even water became a struggle to swallow.
</div>

</div>
<div>Concerned, she headed to the GP for answers. After a series of laparoscopies, gastroscopy, and numerous scans and blood tests, the heartbreaking truth emerged – Mum was diagnosed with stage 4 metastatic gastrointestinal cancer on March 17th, 2023.
</div>
<div>It hit us all like a ton of bricks. Our family, once carefree is now grappling with the reality of cancer.
</div>

<div>Our Mum the soldier that she is began treatment that consisted of fortnightly sessions of – 12 rounds of chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and participation in a clinical trial, which started on the July 3rd, 2023.
</div>
<div>Life, as we knew it, was put on hold as we focused on helping Mum get better.
</div>

<div>The past six months have been a rollercoaster of hope and then disappointment. Mum's resilience in the face of relentless side effects is nothing short of inspiring. Every fortnight, she battles through one week of illness, followed by a week of recovery, only to bravely start the cycle all over again.
</div>
<div>Painful neuropathy in her face, hands, and feet, brain fog, loss of her taste buds and appetite, have become constant companions in this challenging journey.
</div>

<div>Despite our collective efforts, the results have been heartbreaking. The tumours have grown in Mums upper stomach, spreading to her lower abdomen and both her ovaries. The reality is harsh – the oncologists have told Mum that her cancer is incurable, and cannot be surgically removed.
</div>

</div>
<div>Mum was scheduled for another 12 rounds which kicked off just after Christmas last year, but time is slipping away. They have told Mum should she continue with the current treatment plan she has roughly 12 -24 months left with us, but our Mum is tough and she refuses to accept this or let this disease beat her! 
</div>

</div>
<div>Refusing to accept defeat, and after much research Mum has decided to seek alternative treatment overseas in Mexico. It's a chance to extend her life beyond the given timeline.
</div>

</div>
<div>I never thought I'd find myself asking for help, but here I am. We need to raise funds to get Mum overseas for this crucial treatment. Unfortunately, the specialized care she needs is not available in Australia, and seeking help and treatment in Mexico is an expensive journey we're forced to embark on.

Mum's Fight Against Cancer - Kim Nohe Shadrock

As many of you know, Carmen has been battling cancer since March 2017. After four rounds of chemo, an experimental CAR-T cell therapy, and many surgeries, the doctors have told us there are no more curative treatment options for her.  After breaking four bones (including both femur bones) and battling three painful infections in the past five months, she has made the decision to enter in-home hospice care.<br /><br />The medical bills and the financial burden this has put on Carmen and Dewayne has been significant these past years. Then, in December of last year, Dewayne had to leave work to give carmen 24-hour care. He has been happy and thankful to be by her side in this time.  This has, however, taken a financial toll and he will need to continue this 24-hour care indefinitely. <br /><br />Please consider a financial gift to help ease their burden in this time. This money will go toward medical bills and covering a small amount of Dewayne's income loss. The real reward was never the travel perks—it was the people. Over nearly a decade, Trent has built lasting friendships, found purpose in teamwork, and become part of a family that makes even the longest shifts worth it.

<div>Trent has also built a successful roofing company over the past fourteen years, runs a shaved ice stand with his wife, Deanna, and is active in the volleyball community locally and statewide in Colorado.

<div>Most important to Trent and his family is their faith in Jesus Christ. Trent and his family attend a local church, Grace Community where they have found a loving and supportive church family. During times like this it is important to the Shrock family to know that they have a God that cares, provides, gives strength and heals according to His mercy.

<div>Recently, Trent was diagnosed with epithelioid sarcoma, a rare and aggressive soft-tissue cancer. So rare, in fact, that he may be the only person in the entire U.S. airline industry with it. Because it’s so uncommon, proven treatment paths and specialists are limited, and the best care may mean traveling across the country to major cancer centers that handle rare sarcomas.

<div>Despite the shock of this diagnosis, Trent remains strong, grounded, and determined.

<div>“Right now, I actually feel healthier than I have in years—aside from an occasional pain in my shoulder,” he says. “I’m just trying to balance between bucket-list trips and trips to doctors.” That mix of humor, honesty, and grit sums up the spirit that everyone who knows him recognizes immediately.
