<div>Hi all! My name is Kirk Norcross and I am setting up this go fund me page up for my best friend and his family! I have been close to the family for just over three years so close that they have become a part of my family and it makes me feel so good when they say I am a part of their family to. My friend Joe Smith has an amazing family an amazing wife Elisha  and such a princess of a daughter Joules. After very short and mild symptoms Joe and his family took his daughter to the hospital where they found out the most tragic news anyone could ever hear their daughter sadly got diagnosed with a brain tumour, unfortunately It is an incurable form of cancer and poor joules has only been giving 9 months to live. The Smith families whole life has come to an absolute standstill. Their world has been rocked and their hearts have been torn out. Their life has now been put on hold they both are unable to work as much as they need to as they both want to spend every second with her  and all they are  trying to do is provide an amazing life for Joules before she sadly leaves us. The reason I’ve set set up this GoFundMe page is to be able to give some kind of support to the whole family to make their life a little bit bearable as I said there whole life has come to a stand still  I would like everybody to please help as much as you can. We do understand that times are hard but anything will help any money that is raised on this page will go to the Smith family directly to make sure that they are coping and Joules has everything that she needs ❤️

Every parents worst nightmare

<div>This is a fundraising page set up to help little Lily and her family.
</div>
<div>Lily is now just 3 years old, she has Dilated Cadiomyopathy, which is a condition where the heart is enlarged, the walls become stretched and thin and the heart can not work to pump blood efficiently. Lily is currently in Intensive Care at the Royal Brompton Hospital in a stable but critical condition. Until the Spring of 2024 she was a 90mph, always on the go, tea and biscuit loving toddler. Many trips to the GP, a hospital admission mid June when she really took a turn for the worst, lead to her diagnosis.

<div>Sine then Lily managed less than 2 weeks at home before another admission and transfer back to London.
</div>
<div>Lily's Mum Tiff is staying with her, whilst her older daughter is staying with family.
</div>
<div>Little Lily spent her 3rd Birthday in hospital and have been told this week she is on the urgent transplant list. Lily (and Tiff) will be staying in hospital until a donor is found.
</div>
<div>This page was set up to help with some of the costs involved as hospital stays add up especially in London, because I (like most of her family and friends) feel a bit helpless. Never did any of us imagine 3 months later that Lily, Tiff and Millie (Lily's older sister) would still need our support.

Love for Lily

<div>Our beautiful boy Jack, he was a healthy, happy 5 year old, running around as normal without a care in the world.
</div>

<div>In the middle of January he suddenly started to complain of leg pain and developed a limp. We had 2 visits to the GP, they advised that it was just a viral infection. On Thursday 25th January, Jack seemed much better and he went to school as normal. When picking Jack up from school his teacher told me he had been upset that his leg hurt. Jack was then up all night in pain, I took him to a&amp;e, they did an X-ray of his hips and told me everything was fine and to just give him regular ibuprofen. However, this did not help. After another night of pain and crying, I phoned 111 I was advised to take Jack back to a&amp;e and request blood tests. That afternoon Jack’s results came back and we were told to take him straight to Bristol children’s hospital.

<div>When we arrived they suspected he had septic hip, however the ultrasound didn’t show any fluid on his hip. A couple of days later Jack had an ultrasound of his abdomen. We were soon called in to a private room to speak to a consultant, we were told during the scan they had found a mass sitting above Jack’s right kidney. They said that Jack was presenting well and so it was probably nothing to worry about.

<div>On the 1st February Jack had an MRI scan to look at the mass more clearly. Afterwards we were told the MRI was much more concerning then the ultrasound images. That was the day we were told our son had cancer. More tests needed to be done but because of the placement of the tumour we were told it was most likely Neuroblastoma.
</div>

<div>Over the next 2 weeks Jack had many more tests including, biopsies, mibg scan, ct scan, bone marrow aspiration and a Hickman line fitted ready to start treatment.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>On the 15th February all the results were in and we were called into hospital to hear the official diagnosis, Stage 4 high risk Neuroblastoma. Our lives changed instantly.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Jack is going to have a very long road ahead, with intense chemotherapy, surgery to try and remove the primary tumour, high dose chemotherapy, stem cell rescue, radiotherapy and immunotherapy.
</div>
<div>If things go well his NHS treatment will last around a year. Jack currently has a 40-50% chance of survival but is at high risk of relapse, if this happens the chance of survival is just 5%.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>We are fundraising for maintenance treatment that is not available in the UK. This treatment lowers the possibility of a relapse occurring and gives Jack a better chance of survival if it did return. This involves multiple trips to America over 2-3 years in which we would need to cover flights, insurance, accommodation and medical bills. Jack needs to complete his NHS treatment and have no evidence of disease, then travel very soon after to begin his treatment in the US.

<div>I'm sure some people will think raising this amount is an impossible task. We ask that you put yourselves in our shoes, if this was your child I'm sure you would also do all you could to save their life. We won’t give up, whatever happens in the future we need to be able to say we did everything we possibly could.

<div>Rubie was Born during a pandemic in 2020 at 24 weeks after Bethany got covid while being a key worker looking after covid patients. Her water broke at 20 weeks and rubie was born at 24 weeks in barrow in furness SCBU. she was transfered to Burnley hospital and then closer to home but when they arrived back in barrow they discovered rubie had ROP and needed laser eye surgery at Liverpool womens hospital a few weeks later it didn't work and rubie needed emergency surgery on her eyes in london at G.O.S.H.

<div>They have 2 other children Noah and Amelia age 11 and 5 who are amazing with Rubie, Amelia has been under investigation for weakness on her left side and a MRI has confirmed mild cerebral palsy earlier this year and they have found out she has a few other problems with a brain stem and her spinal cord also needing multiple appointments in Manchester and there local hospital. As well as rubies appointments at Liverpool and london as well as local. This is taking a huge tole financially!

<div>she now has allot of things going on with her weight shes extremely small but very strong...she is on the pathway for a autisum diagnosis she has a severe learning disability and her mental age is around 18 months old she is 4 years old! She needs safe guarding at all times in school and at home due to her lack of understanding and safety awearness she is also registered blind (ssi)... They have a number of professionals Involved and are in the process of apply for funding

<div>towards a extention on there home as you can imagine this takes time and can take up to 2 years to sort the funding alone and they may not get accepted straight away or at all and that's becoming a fight to even get the application form done! This is taking allot of time and it's time they don't have due to rubie requiring a safe area at home to sleep and wash.. a few weeks ago rubie was in her room where she has been safe many times and managed to climb 3 gates and Bethany caught her trying to climb over the stair banister with a 10/12ft drop!!Rubie has no understanding and no safty awareness. Rory managed to put a partition wall in the girls bedroom for them to have there own space and due to rubie waking in the night but shes getting out of bed and now trying to hurt Amelia to get out of her bedroom with amelias disability this is becoming a huge risk.

Bethany is Rubies full time carer and rory works full time and unfortunately with the cost of living they can't save allot with having 1 wage coming into the home and travel costs with all the appointments they attend for both children.

Please help Rubie and her family adapt her home!

<div>Hey, I am fundraising to hopefully provide a defibrillator for my son’s primary school. My son Junior was born with aortic stenosis and a bicuspid valve, which basically means he will need a valve replacement which is major open heart surgery. Junior had surgery at 5 weeks old to insert a balloon to open up his valve. This is a temporary measure while he is young, but with any serious heart conditions this may become more urgent for us at any time. We would love to provide a defibrillator for Juniors primary school not just for him but for all children whom I hope never have to use this but we just never know what may happen as we have experienced when Junior was born. Juniors sees amazing cardiologists at royal hospital for sick children they have been excellent with us a family since Junior was born. <div>On 16/09/2024 Kayden set off on his trip to Tescos for some snacks with his friends he came out of Tesco’s (Halifax Road) to the crossing when the lights went red he new he could cross however no one knew what was to happen next  Kayden began crossing the road and a car come speeding through the red lights doing over 100mph and unfortunately the worst happened Kayden was run over &amp; was rushed to LGI where his mum, dad &amp; brothers followed in police cars.

<div>Kayden is still in hospital in a coma still in a critical condition due to his injuries, he’s been in theatre twice for major life changing operations which one led to him having to have his leg off up to his thigh  Carole’s family &amp; friends all count there lucky stars Kayden is still here today however he will have to be in hospital for weeks until he recovers it’s going to be one hell of a journey for his family &amp; friends.

Due to Kayden’s injuries his life has changed forever which means his mum has to give up work to be his full time carer which means there will be hard days where they will struggle financially &amp; the house will need adapting to what Kayden will need.

<div>Hi my name is steph and my eldest daughter ashleigh has been diagnosed with metastatic breast cancer. She was diagnosed with breast cancer age 24, she had a mastectomy, chemotherapy and radiotherapy and hormone treatment but unfortunately now age 29 the cancer has spread to her liver and her brain. She has been given the devastating news that she has 3 months to live.

<div>Ashleigh has four beautiful babies age 11, 10, 9 and 5 so we are asking for donations to provide them with days out, weekends away and holidays so they can make precious memories with their brave,strong, warrior mummy.
