<div>Hello, I’m Abdullah Ghabayen, a young Palestinian from Gaza. My friends call me Abood. I’m writing with a heart heavy with hope and ambition. War has devastated every aspect of my life, but I still dream of having a future.
</div>
<div><br />
</div><img alt="" media_type="3" src="https://d2g8igdw686xgo.cloudfront.net/85822139_1737400858487534_r." width="100%" />
<div><br />
</div>
<div>My home was destroyed in two separate bombings, my family no longer has a source of income to afford even basic necessities, and my education stopped when the bombs began falling. Life has become very difficult. I need your support to help me cover the costs of my education, housing, and basic needs so I can survive and remain in my home.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>I am 20 years old and aspire to complete my studies in multimedia. I was a student at the University College of Applied Sciences (UCAS) before the war. Education has always been important to me and I firmly believe in the power of education as key to achieving a better life for myself and my family. I just want to live in a safe environment, where I can study and achieve my ambitions without fear or anxiety.
</div>
<div><br />
</div><img alt="" media_type="3" src="https://d2g8igdw686xgo.cloudfront.net/85822139_1737400933266325_r." width="100%" />
<div><br />
</div>
<div>My room was once a safe haven, its vibrant walls covered with family photos, my artwork, and books that fueled my imagination, with a study corner where I spent countless hours learning and researching. So many happy memories happened between these walls.
</div>
<div><br />
</div><img alt="" media_type="3" src="https://d2g8igdw686xgo.cloudfront.net/85822139_1737400954726288_r." width="100%" />
<div><br />
</div>
<div>After being separated from my family for more than a year, living in a freezing tent far from home while bombs fell every night, I finally returned home at the end of January. I discovered half of my home had collapsed and the remainder was now a bombed-out shell. Most of my neighborhood here in North Gaza is unrecognizable.
</div>
<div><br />
</div><img alt="" media_type="3" src="https://d2g8igdw686xgo.cloudfront.net/85822139_1740889583834120_r.png" width="100%" />
<div><br />
</div>
<div>I feel sadness and emptiness when I remember how it was and how it has become. However, I also feel determination – I’ve been working hard to clear the rubble and make the shell of our home habitable so we can have shelter and remain here. The destruction of our home also meant the loss of our income, as the ground floor housed my father Nabil's market. With no income and rising prices, this fundraiser is our lifeline.
</div>
<div><br />
</div><img alt="" media_type="3" src="https://d2g8igdw686xgo.cloudfront.net/85822139_1740945565756153_r.png" width="100%" />
<div><br />
</div>
<div>The conditions here are very harsh. There is little food, water, or electricity nearby. A simple glass of clean water or charging my phone have become luxuries obtained with great difficulty.
</div>
<div><br />
</div><img alt="" media_type="3" src="https://d2g8igdw686xgo.cloudfront.net/85822139_1737401011946000_r." width="100%" />
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Every donation, no matter how small, will have a significant impact on my life. I promise you that I will do my best to achieve my dreams and help others in my country in the future.
</div>
<div><br />

</div>
<div>I need your help to rebuild my life and restore hope. With your assistance, I can survive and one day pursue my dreams.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>Your generous donations will help me:</strong>
</div>
<div>1) <strong>Rebuild my family's home</strong> (which includes my father's market - our livelihood).
</div>
<div>2) <strong>Continue my education</strong> in Multimedia - either in Gaza or abroad, depending on what opportunities are available. I was a student at UCAS Gaza before the war.
</div>
<div>3) <strong>Cover basic daily needs</strong> and other personal expenses to help me get by until I have a source of income (e.g. food, clothing, etc.).
</div>
<div><br />

<div><br />
</div>
<div>I have asked my friend Dylan, who lives in the United States, to help me with this fundraiser. GoFundMe requires recipients to have a bank account in a supported country and the currency the fundraiser was set up in. To achieve this, funds will be transferred from GoFundMe to a separate bank account Dylan has set up for this fundraiser and then wired to my bank account from there.

<div>I live in the US state of Rhode Island and became friends with Abood after he contacted me on Instagram during the summer of 2024. Since then, we have spoken almost every day and he has become like a little brother to me. I am constantly in awe of his spirit and determination despite everything he has been through. All donations will go directly to Abood and I will keep everyone updated on his situation.

<div>I am Alaa Al Najjar from Khan Yunis, Gaza. I am 31 years old. I am married to Asmaa Al Najjar for 3 years, and I have a one-and-a-half-year-old child named Karim. My wife is 5 months pregnant with our second child.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>My life, and the life of my family before the war was good, but since the damned and deadly war, <strong>I need help.</strong> Because of the high cost of living with which we live, I can't support my family, and with no work, I felt that now I must ask for help. In fact, I couldn't imagine that the day I would ask for help. I hate it, but when life is hard on us, I have to do it.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>And because my family and my little one need healthy food and healthy drink, as well as healthy medicines and clean clothes.</strong> We have been displaced 11 times since our home was destroyed in January of this year (2024).

Help Alaa Najjar's family survive

<div>Dear Friends,
</div>
<div>My name is Ibrahim Jaber, and I am a 37-year-old husband and father of two young boys, Youssef (6 years old) and Elias (3 years old). My family and I live in Gaza, where war and destruction have turned our once-peaceful home into a place of unimaginable suffering.
</div>
<div>In the most recent attacks, our home was destroyed, and our lives changed forever. When the neighboring house was bombed, I suffered a fractured skull, and my son Elias sustained a severe neck injury. Our house is now rubble, and even the simplest things we owned, like clothes, were burned to ashes.
</div>
<div>This is why I am reaching out to you, compassionate souls, for help. We need your support to escape this nightmare, rebuild our lives, and give our children a future filled with hope instead of fear.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong><em>Why We Need Your Help</em></strong>
</div>
<div>Gaza has become an unlivable place. Constant bombings, destruction, and fear have left us with no choice but to seek safety outside. Unfortunately, leaving Gaza is incredibly expensive and complicated.
</div>
<div>We need to raise $30,000 to cover the following costs:
</div>
<ul>
<li><strong>Border Crossing Fees</strong>: $20,000 (for 4 people, $5,000 each, paid to the only office handling this process in Gaza).
</li>
<li><strong>Living Costs in Egypt</strong>: Between $3,600 and $7,200, depending on how long our visa processing takes. This covers basic needs like food, rent, and utilities.
</li>
<li><strong>Visa Applications</strong>: $800 ($200 per person).
</li>
<li><strong>Airplane Tickets</strong>: $2,000 ($500 per person at the lowest rate).
</li>
</ul>
<div>Without this financial help, we cannot leave Gaza, and our dream of safety and stability for our children will remain out of reach.
</div>
<div><br />
</div><img alt="" media_type="3" src="https://d2g8igdw686xgo.cloudfront.net/82627091_1733234774755372_r.jpeg" width="100%" />
<div><strong>Before the War</strong>
</div>
<div>Before the war, we lived a modest but peaceful life in Gaza. I worked hard to provide for my family, and we dreamed of giving our children a bright future. Youssef and Elias are bright and full of potential, but the war has robbed them of their innocence. The sound of bombings and destruction now fills their days, replacing the laughter and safety they once knew.
</div>
<div><br />
</div><img alt="" media_type="3" src="https://d2g8igdw686xgo.cloudfront.net/82627091_1733234963701679_r.jpeg" width="100%" />
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong><em>After the War</em></strong>
</div>
<div>Since the bombings destroyed our home, we’ve been left with nothing. We live day to day, struggling to find food, water, and shelter. Every corner of Gaza feels unsafe, and the fear of losing more—our lives or each other—never leaves us.
</div>
<div>The physical injuries we’ve suffered are a constant reminder of the violence we’ve endured. My fractured skull has caused chronic pain, and Elias still bears the scars from his neck injury. Beyond the physical wounds, the emotional toll on my family is immeasurable.
</div>
<div>We dream of a fresh start in a safe place where our children can laugh, learn, and grow without fear.
</div>
<div><br />
</div><img alt="" media_type="3" src="https://d2g8igdw686xgo.cloudfront.net/82627091_173323526555467_r.jpeg" width="100%" />
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>Why You Should Support Us</strong>
</div>
<div>Your donation is more than just financial aid—it’s a lifeline. It’s a chance for my family to escape the endless cycle of violence in Gaza and begin a new life in safety.
</div>
<div>Here’s how your support will directly help:
</div>
<div><strong>1</strong>.<strong style="font-family:inherit;font-size:1rem;color:inherit;">Crossing the Rafah Border</strong><span style="font-family:inherit;font-size:1rem;color:inherit;">: $20,000 is needed to pay the fees for the only office arranging safe passage out of Gaza.</span>
</div>
<div><strong>2.Temporary Shelter in Egypt:</strong> We’ll need between $3,600 and $7,200 to stay in Egypt while we wait for our visas to Germany to be approved.
</div>
<div><strong>3.Visas for Germany</strong>: $800 to cover the application costs for all four of us.
</div>
<div><strong>3.Air Travel to Germany</strong>: $2,000 for four airplane tickets to finally reach safety.
</div>
<div>Reaching Germany is our ultimate goal. My cousin lives there and has promised to help us rebuild our lives once we arrive.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>How You Can Help</strong>
</div>
<div>Every donation, no matter the size, brings us closer to safety. Here are ways you can help:
</div>
<div><strong>1.Donate</strong>: Your contribution directly helps cover the costs of escaping Gaza.
</div>
<div><strong>2.Share</strong>: Please share our story on social media, WhatsApp, and with your community to help us reach more people.
</div>
<div><strong>3.Pray for Us</strong>: Your prayers and positive thoughts give us strength in these dark times.
</div>
<div>Your kindness and compassion can change our lives forever. We are eternally grateful for any help you can provide.
</div>
<div><br />
</div><img alt="" media_type="3" src="https://d2g8igdw686xgo.cloudfront.net/82627091_1733235455362975_r.jpeg" width="100%" />
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>Summary of Costs</strong>
</div>
<div>To ensure transparency, here’s a breakdown of the $30,000 we need:
</div>
<ul>
<li><strong>Border Crossing Fees</strong>: $20,000 ($5,000 per person for 4 people).
</li>
<li><strong>Living Costs in Egypt</strong>: Up to $7,200 ($300-$400 per person monthly for 3-6 months).
</li>
<li><strong>Visa Applications</strong>: $800 ($200 per person).
</li>
<li><strong>Airplane Tickets</strong>: $2,000 ($500 per person).
</li>
</ul>
<div>We promise to use every dollar to escape Gaza, secure temporary shelter in Egypt, and reach Germany to start a new chapter of our lives.
</div>
<div><strong>A Final Plea</strong>
</div>
<div>From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for taking the time to read our story. Living in Gaza is no longer an option for my family. We dream of a life where my children can grow up without the constant sound of explosions or the fear of losing their parents.
</div>
<div>Your support, whether through a donation or sharing our story, gives us hope when we need it the most. Together, we can turn this nightmare into a brighter future.
</div>
<div>Thank you,

Help Ibrahim Jaber & Family Escape War-Torn Gaza

<div>Hello,
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>My Name is Anja and I am fundraising for Ahmed Abu Raida, lives in Rafah.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>"I am Ahmed from Gaza. We are suffering from difficult conditions in light of this fierce war, and we are suffering from the summer heat inside the tents. Iwas displaced several times from the east of Khan Yunis to its centre. Then I was displaced to Rafah several times. I lost my daughter due to gunpowder inhalation as a result of one of the Israeli raids on a house near us in eastern Khan Yunis. I also lost my father in an Israeli bombing that targeted our house. Our house was subjected to artillery shelling more than once and was severely damaged. My wife and I aspire to travel outside Gaza after the end of this fierce and painful war“.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Ahmad has no way of starting a Gofundme campaign in Gaza, so I took on this task as a friend. As soon as the donation goal is reached, I will transfer the money to Ahmad via PayPal
</div>

</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>At the time of writing, Gazans are required to possess 5000$ per adult and 2500$ per child in order to cross into egypt at Rafah.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>The funds collected will be meticulously utilized for:
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>1. Get involved in <strong>Germany</strong> board program for speciality that cost around 15000$ during years of learning language as life expenses.
</div>
<div><br />

<div>2.Traveling expenses for me and my eldest <strong>parents</strong> into
</div>
<div>That cost also another 15000$ 5k$ per adult!

<div><br />
</div>
<div>3.Life expenses till this amount of money is collected approximately 5000$ hopefully it won’t take that much time❤

<div><strong>UPDATE (Saturday 26th Aug 2024): </strong>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Firstly, we would like to extend our heartfelt appreciation and thank to all those that have supported me and my family by means of donations, sharing the GoFundMe, prayers and kind words. We have truly found comfort and solace in the allyship of kind people during this genocide and never want you to feel that we do not see what you have done to change the course of our lives. It’s the actions of honest people that will now be intertwined with our stories and lives.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>FIRST UPDATE</strong>: Your donations have been lifesaving!
</div>
<div>Our GoFundMe money is currently supporting family that are currently in Gaza. While this is expensive, we are absolutely appreciative of all donations as it has been sustaining us. We thank you for your continued support, especially with the extortionate costs of basic necessities.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>SECOND UPDATE</strong>: We are adding more family members
</div>
<div>As Gaza becomes uninhabitable even after the genocide and with infrastructures being completely decimated, we have made the executive decision to fundraise for more family to leave Gaza. I feel that anyone reading this would understand why this would take place. We are a unit and we simply cannot fathom making such a heartbreaking decision on who to take into a safer country and who to leave back in Gaza, with no guarantee that they will be okay.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>THIRD UPDATE</strong>: We are currently in a very dangerous area.
</div>
<div>We reside in khan Younuis and are under constant bombardment with air strikes every single day. There is simply no safe zone. Schools have been decimated, UNRWA buildings completely destroyed and essential infrastructures - like hospitals - have been flattened. There are whispers of borders opening - we wish to be ready for this.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>We understand that people that are supporting us are having their own struggles - we pray that whatever ails you is lifted from you. No donation is regarded insignificant or negligible. We are unbelievably grateful by your kindness. We ask that you are not able to donate, please share the link with those who may be able to donate.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Thank you for your unwavering support and i hope to see you on the other side.
</div>
