Help Nada's Family Evacuate From Gaza War

Donation protected
My name is Nada. I am an English teacher for children. I graduated from the Islamic University in 2021 with a BA in English.

Before October, I was happy and living in peace — despite the difficult living conditions we faced from the occupation.

My family and I have been displaced more than 6 times to escape from bombs and death. Our home in north Gaza was completely destroyed. We are escaping death at every moment. Our children do not have the basic necessities of life, whether clothes, food, or milk.

We used to set aside Fridays to go to the beach to relax and spend time together. I loved shopping, buying clothes, watching movies and listening to music.

My father was a brave man with a beautiful heart that carried us all inside him. He had beautiful eyes just like the sea. He used to love walking and life, but now my father is paralyzed. He became paralyzed when we were displaced and on our way from North Gaza to South Gaza. Now we are displaced on Deir-albalh. My father has diabetes and high blood pressure, but he lived a normal life before October.

When we were first displaced from our home to the south, my father became paralyzed and unable to move due to fear and panic. He suffered nervous shock and could not complete the journey when he saw the tanks and soldiers surrounding us from every direction.

Then, he started having medical complications because we could not access his diabetes and blood pressure medications. He now has ulcers on his body, diabetic foot disease, gangrene in his legs, and his blood is poisoned.

My father had two operations on his legs, but the operations have not been successful. Now, he is still suffering and in pain. The doctor told us that he needs good health care, including good, sterile, clean, sunny and well-ventilated housing — but we do not have access to any of these. from what he mentioned, as we live in a dark tent that does not see the air or sun. All we see are insects, dust, and the foul smell of sewage.

There is no safe place to live here, so I am seeking to get them out of Gaza immediately.

The goal is to relocate my family to a safer place outside of Gaza, and help my father get the treatment he needs to survive.
Any donation, no matter how small, will make a significant difference to the safety of me and my family. We will use the money raised to pay travel expenses, and treatment for my father.

We have to pay $5,000 per person in order to pass the Rafah crossing to Egypt. We are 8 people; father, mother, siblings, and their wives and children.

Thank you for your support, and I'm grateful for any help you can give during this difficult time.

Let us stand with each other in the darkest time.
