<div>Our dear friend Brett, affectionately known online as The Town Crier, has kidney disease. His kidneys are functioning at only 6% of normal, they are unable to adequately filter his blood. Because of this Brett undergoes dialysis twice a week, which takes a severe toll on him and his family. Dialysis costs the NHS £60,000 per year.

<div>The NHS have some drugs which help maintain kidney function, but cannot improve or repair the kidneys. Dialysis twice a week is the main treatment, while the patient waits for a kidney transplant. This requires a donor.

<div>As an online community we couldn’t sit back and let this happen to our dear friend. We have undertaken extensive research into kidney disease, and we have discovered a revolutionary new treatment involving a combination natural therapy which if our research is correct can restore enough kidney function to enable Brett to come off dialysis and too lead a normal life. The cost of this new combination natural therapy treatment is £1,500 for a year.

<div><br />Hi, I’m Bethan. This fundraiser is in aid of my brother who was left for dead whilst holidaying in Spain. Steen is a strong and determined man and this incident showcases that.

<div>A gang of local men chased my brother and after brutally attacking him, they threw him off a cliff. It is only through sheer determination and courage that my brother despite his life threatening injuries managed to get up and walk for help. Had he not done that, the outcome could have been tragically different. These men attempted to kill my brother and now we need your help. Steen has two broken arms, one of which is a compound fracture, a broken jaw, a fractured eye socket and skull, a shattered cheekbone, internal injuries and more. He needs several surgeries all of which are covered through his GHIC card thankfully. However there are other expenses that we need help with.

<div>Steen cannot fly home due to his injuries and won’t be able to fly for over a year (low flying not an option either). It is an 18 + hour journey that is expected to be done in a car. We need to raise funds to be able to find suitable travel with medical assistance. Not only that but Steen needs help and support from his family who will need to be with him. Meaning travel expenses are soon going to mount up.

Steen Nodwell’s Story

On Sunday, 7th Feb 2021, the owner of Kate &amp; Luc Café was taken outside, beaten up by the Police and arrested. His crime? Trying to pay off debts to the bank and feed his family. Now he has been charged with assault of a police officer.<br /><br />We know that Luc has received a lot of support after the incident and we hope that we can all help him and his family to raise money for a good lawyer and to keep his business open.
