Challenge EVEREST - Shining A Light For Struggling Veterans
Donation protected
Hello friend, I'm Chris Thrall, a former Royal Marine and English Veteran of the Year for Inspiration 2022. In April 2026, I'm climbing Mount Everest to shine a light for struggling veterans and raise vital funds.
Your kind donation will help me send a powerful message of healing to former-military personel experiencing stress, depression, anxiety, self-medicating, homelessness, many of whom end up taking their own lives.
MY STORY
Upon leaving the Royal Marines I ended up chronically mentally unwell and homeless on the streets of Hong Kong. The medical community said I would never recover, but simply by changing a few paradigms and taking action, I proved them all wrong.
I've since gone on to live, work and study in over 85 countries across all seven continents. I've mentored street children in post-war Mozambique, earned a degree in youth work, written several books and undertaken numerous extreme-endurance charity events - such as running the length of Britain and across the Sahara Desert and rowing the Atlantic Ocean - to raise awareness of the veterans mental health crisis and prevent suicide.
The money you donate will save many lives and support a worthwhile veterans charity.
Thank you and much love,
Chris
