<div>On June 11th 2025, my partner Justice Forral, was involved in a protest at the ICE facility at 411 W Cataldo Avenue in Spokane. They’ve been arrested three separate times on charges from that day.
</div>

<div>During the first arrest, Justice was zip-tied so tightly and for so long that they were later diagnosed with nerve damage in both wrists and deal with significant pain as a result.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>The second arrest occurred during Pride, and the third took place early in the morning at our home. In addition to the emotional toll of these events, Justice’s car was held as evidence by Spokane Police Department for 6 months and their phone permanently seized by the FBI.
</div>

</div>
<div>Justice currently serves as a Human Rights Commissioner for the city of Spokane and has spent years advocating for vulnerable people in Spokane and caring deeply for their community. Justice dedicated five years to working with SCAR before being unexpectedly terminated in October. Losing their job during an already overwhelming legal situation had a major impact on Justice mentally and financially, and has put strain on our household.

<div>This past year has been filled with uncertainty and stress. We’re incredibly grateful for all the support, care, and solidarity our community has shown us. Several people have asked how they can support us and contributing here is the easiest and most direct way to do that right now.

<div>As a parent, educator, and the son of a San Fernando Valley community, Ernesto has always prioritized the needs of those around him. He often opens his home to provide refuge for the most vulnerable members of our community, creating a space for youth to express themselves through art and sharing resources from his front porch.

<div>It’s heartbreaking to think that anyone could be detained or vanished simply because of their birthplace or the color of their skin. No one should face punishment for standing up and documenting the realities of state violence.

Free Ernesto: Support His Safe Return

<div>All donations to this GoFundMe will provide Triston with<strong> therapy, mobility services</strong> that will teach him how to navigate the world while blind, and<strong> a disability advocate</strong>.

<div>After a traumatic childhood in the foster care system, Triston attempted to end his own life at the age of 19. He woke up two months later completely blind and disabled in many ways. Since then,<em> he has not received therapy for his mental health</em>. He has also had to teach himself how to use a cane without the help of a specialist. Navigating the world while blind is something that takes time, guidance, and expertise to learn. Access to a mobility specialist will allow Triston to regain a level of independence he has yet to achieve.

<div>If our goal is reached, we will also hire a disability advocate to ensure Triston is maximizing his access to services. The system is needlessly complex and is even more difficult to navigate while blind. An advocate will ensure Triston is well taken care of.
</div>

<div>I will work with Triston to find credited experts that can guide him to reach his mental and physical goals.
</div>

<div>This money will be distributed to Triston through an ABLE account. ABLE accounts are tax-advantaged savings accounts for individuals with disabilities, allowing them to save for qualified disability expenses (such as the ones mentioned above) without jeopardizing eligibility for public benefits like Medicaid and SSI. In order to keep his benefits, the money will first go to Special Books by Special Kids (a nonprofit), then it will be sent to Triston's ABLE account. An ABLE account has a $19,000 contribution limit per year. If this fundraiser exceeds $19,000, we will distribute the rest on January 1, 2026. This process can continue in succeeding years for as long as there is still money in the fundraiser. We are also able to pay for Triston's services directly if his ABLE account empties out in any particular year. 100% of these funds will go to Triston's services, and this process will ensure he keeps his benefits.

Help Triston Regain Independence

<div><strong>April 5th, 2025 there is a mass protest scheduled in Washington DC at the National Mall.</strong> EVERYONE should know about it. That's why today I leased a billboard next to the highway. I shared my story with some of you and it became clear that others feel the same way.

<div>Our goal is to raise $10,000 to lease as many billboards as we can within roughly 150 miles of Washington DC to promote the peaceful day of action on April 5th. Together we will get the word out. Together we will stand side-by-side in Washington. And together WE WILL BE HEARD!!!

<div>Rescuing 500 foxes from a fur farm
</div>
<div>We are legally rescuing 500 foxes from this fur farm. The fur farmer signed a contract to no longer farm fur and to surrender us the foxes. We are raising $700k to get them all out! They have been standing in these wire cages their whole lives. And we've already made a ton of progress, over $400k raised, but we still need your help!
</div>
<div>What is the plan? First we are getting all the males fixed so no more breeding can occur. Neuters are in progress! That itself is about $30k in vet bills.
</div>
<div>Then we are going to place as many foxes as possible in qualified facilities! So if you are one, please email us at Saveafox.org and subject the email "Licensed fur farm adopter".

<div>For the remaining foxes we can't find homes for, we are raising funds to purchase more land so we can build them spacious habitats to live out their lives!

<div>Of course there is much that goes into this; staffing, building materials, vet care, feeding. But rest assured, we already have two rescue locations so we are well versed in what steps are needed to accomplish this. We just need to make sure we have the funds to do it!
