Riley, our sweet boy, had a scary run-in with a rattlesnake and needed emergency vet care. What started as a completely normal day quickly turned into something really frightening.

Riley is now at the clinic for a couple of days receiving the treatment he needs, and we’re just focused on keeping him comfortable and helping him recover.

We always try to be prepared for the unexpected, but this situation caught us off guard. The vet bills are adding up quickly between emergency care, antivenom, medication, and the monitoring he needs over the next few days.
