<div>On July 3, our friend Kevin was seriously injured while doing what he loves—photographing a band at a show. During the performance, he was unexpectedly knocked into the crash bar of an exit door, suffering a fractured back.

<div>Kevin is expected to be out of work for at least six weeks, and his recovery will continue well beyond that. He faces months of physical and occupational therapy, mounting medical bills, and the loss of income while he’s unable to work. He’ll also have to miss the ESSES tour to Chile this August, something he had been looking forward to.

<div>Hi everyone, I am reaching out because my sister Briana’s family dog Clover is facing a sudden, life-threatening medical emergency and urgently needs life-saving surgery. She was recently diagnosed with pyometra, a severe and fast-moving uterine infection that has left her incredibly weak and in immense pain over the last three days. Because the infection is advanced, she requires immediate emergency surgery to remove the infected organ before it becomes fatal.The emergency veterinary hospital has quoted the cost of her surgery, pre-op stabilization, and critical post-operative monitoring between 4k and 5k dollars. She and the kids anre absolutely heartbroken and completely unprepared for this sudden, massive financial strain. Clover is a vital part of their family, and they cannot bear the thought of losing her simply because they don’t have the money to pay for the surgery on their own. Lucks Rescue Needs Transport Rescue Van

<div>Hi, i’m not only Laura’s co-worker at Stories Books &amp; Cafe, but also her friend. We consider everyone on staff not just as friends, but as family. Laura Kerrigan is an integral part of our team, beloved by everyone in the community, and she needs our help.

<div>2023 has been tragic enough, having lost multiple loved ones, and Laura is still grieving the loss of our friends, and very recently, her best companion, her dog Steve. With her giant heart and endless capacity to care and nurture, she rescued a new sweet boy, Lefty, last week.
</div>
<div>Unfortunately just a few days ago, as she was driving with her newly rescued dog, she was in a terrible car accident. She was t-boned, her car was wrecked, and to make matters worse, the driver decided recklessly to hit-and-run. Sadly, her dog needed emergency vet care, but Lefty will be ok. Her car is most probably totaled-either way, the repair or replacement will be an immense loss which she can not afford. She lives far from work and manages many duties for our bookstore, cafe, community center. She desperately needs a vehicle to continue working.

<div>Between lost wages, car rental, the cost of getting a new car, veterinarian bills, and medical bills for herself, Laura could use some support from her community right now to get her back on her feet, stable, and able to care for her community in all the ways we appreciate.

Emergency relief for Laura after car accident

<div>Hi my name is Sharon, I am doing this for my father. My father is a plumber and owns his business. On Thursday, August 31 at around 1:45pm my father was working at a building when he finished, he stored away his main line machine and all equipment and material he used back in his truck. He went back inside the building to let the manager know he was leaving and when he came back out unfortunately his truck was missing from where he had left it parked. We immediately called the police and gave them the information. Immediately, my father and with the help of the managers of the building he was working with they chased the truck. After an hour dealing with the police while they had us on hold and telling us they would send a police officer which they never arrived, he found his truck on his own. The truck had the back door cut off and the inside was empty. All his plumbing equipment and material was stolen. This truck is practically his supply shop. Everything my father uses was inside the truck, now every time he’s called for a job he needs to buy everything. Unfortunately, our insurance is not covering our equipment/tools and material. The truck was damaged internally as well. This has truly been a loss and a huge burden for our family as my father is the main provider for our family. This truck is his way of transportation for work and all his equipment and material what was needed to work was inside the truck. We are now trying to raise money to help him buy all his equipment, tools, and material needed to start all over again. <div>Hola mi nombre es Sharon, estoy haciendo esto para mi papá. Mi padre es un plomero y tiene su propia compañía. El jueves Agosto 31 como a la 1:45pm mi papá estaba trabajando en un edifico y cuando termino aguardo su maquinaria, otras herramientas y material de regreso a su troca y la cero. El regreso al edifico para dejarle saber al encargado que ya se iba ir y cuando regreso desafortunadamente la troca ya no estaba de donde la dejo parqueado. Rapido llamamos a la policía y le dimos la información. Y mi papá con la ayuda de los encargados del edifico manejaron detrás de la troca. Después de una hora hablando con la policía que lo tenían en espera y diciendo que iban a llegar y nunca llegaron, mi papá encontró su troca el solo. La puerta de atrás la cortaron y la encontró vacía. Todo su herramienta, maquinaria, y material de plomería se lo robaron. Esta troca es básicamente su Supply shop. Todo lo que el usa para trabajar estaba dentro de la troca. La mentalmente la aseguranza no va cubrir herramienta, maquinaria e material q robaron. Y la troca tuve daños internos. Esto a sido una pérdida grande para mi familia y muy dolorosa al perder todo lo que hemos trabajado por. Esta troca es su modo de transportación para hacer sus trabajos y tenía todo lo que necesitaba para hacer los trabajos adentro. Ahora estamos pidiendo ayuda para recaudar fondos para comprar la herramienta, maquinaria, y material para volver a comenzar de nueva. Agradecemos su ayuda y por el tiempo que se tomo para leer esto.
