Radio Ghoul School Studio Rebuilding Fundraiser

Radio Ghoul School is a streaming radio show focused on Deathrock, Gothic, Dark Punk, Dark Alternative, and Horror culture. Originally a 24/7 continuous broadcast of music and exclusive podcast programming in the early 2000s, it returned in 2022 as a Twitch online show on Thursdays.

Throughout 2025, the show went on the road, following host DJ Mark Splatter on his travels through the US and Europe—from New York, Los Angeles, Seattle, the southern United States, Stockholm, and Berlin. During this time, the broadcasts have been irregular on a pop-up basis as opportunity and location provided. Shows have been streamed from various bars, cafes, sofas, floors, rehearsal rooms, kitchens, attics, basements, hotels, parks, farms, and restaurants, all in a 100% mobile setup consisting of a tablet, phone, mini audio interface, a travel bag of adapters and cables, a light brick, and a few clamps.

Having landed in Stockholm, Sweden, I have the opportunity to cease traveling for a while and build a new studio and home base. Without significant funding, this opportunity won’t be possible. So, Radio Ghoul School is reaching out to the community for support.

This fundraiser has the true goal of paying for audio gear like a more powerful phono mixer, a DJ stylus, hardware improvements, cables, and adapters. This includes lighting and camera gear for improved production quality, subscription services, bandwidth, and other operating costs, studio space, and of course—the heart of the show—more music.
