We’re limited in how many big dogs we can take in - not because the need isn’t there, but because we simply don’t have the proper containment. These dogs often come from tough situations and deserve room to decompress, feel safe, and begin their recovery. We’re looking to purchase a 10x20’ heavy-duty kennel with 6.5 ft walls to safely house large breeds. This kennel will allow us to say “yes” to dogs we currently have to turn away. Every dollar brings us closer to giving these dogs the space and security they deserve. If you’ve ever wanted to directly impact a rescue dog’s life, this is it. Help us build the safety net they need.
Update 4/10/2026 the price of the Anker Solix F2000 increased by $100 and we’re fundraising for 2. We purchased the first one a week ago at $1250 and I just placed the order for the second one at $1350. I adjusted the fundraiser to reflect the price increase! Thank you all so much for supporting MeBo’s Animal Rescue! We are working to properly equip our intake shed and quarantine shed—two critical spaces that protect both incoming and healthy animals. These areas must remain separate and climate controlled, especially to prevent the spread of airborne illness. To make that possible, we need reliable, independent power. We are raising funds for: • 2 Solar Battery + Panel Systems • $1250 each • Total Goal: $2500 These systems will allow us to: • Run ventilation systems to keep air clean and safe • Power lighting and basic medical care needs • Maintain separation between intake and general population • Stay operational even during power outages This isn’t just about electricity—it’s about disease prevention, safety, and giving every animal a real chance. Every dollar brings us closer to a fully functional, safe rescue environment. If you can donate, share, or support in any way, we appreciate you more than you know. Together, we’re building something that saves lives. Love, MeBo’s Animal Rescue
Update 3/7 - the goal has been adjusted because we’ve received some donations through PayPal & Venmo for the shed. Thank you so much   In rural Texas, when someone finds a stray or an injured animal, there isn’t a safety net waiting. That’s why we’re building one. MeBo’s Animal Rescue is growing and so is the need for additional space. We are currently working with limited space, and without proper intake separation, every rescue becomes more difficult and more risky. We are raising $6,500 to purchase a second dedicated intake shed. This shed will allow us to: • Safely intake new rescues without exposing current animals • Prevent the spread of illness through proper separation • Provide a clean, contained space for medical observation • Respond faster to urgent calls in our community Right now, space is the biggest barrier between us and saying “yes” to more animals. In rescue work, intake space equals capacity, and capacity equals lives saved. This second shed will be placed on our property and used specifically for new arrivals. It will give us the ability to properly assess, vaccinate, monitor, and transition animals into foster or adoption without compromising the health of others. We are not building something flashy. We are building infrastructure. Every dollar goes directly toward purchasing the shed and preparing it for safe animal housing. If you believe rural communities deserve real solutions… If you believe prevention and responsible rescue matter… If you believe every animal deserves a safe place to land… Please consider donating and sharing. Together, we can turn a simple structure into a life-saving space.
Hi we’re MeBo’s Animal Rescue! Help Us Spay & Neuter Local Cats and Dogs! A generous donor has offered to match dollar for dollar (up to $2000) for animal spay/neuter initiatives March through April! Your dollar goes further here! In rural Texas, many families love their pets deeply, but access to affordable spay and neuter services isn’t available. Veterinary costs add up quickly, and for hardworking households, preventive care often gets pushed aside. That’s where we step in. MeBo’s Animal Rescue is raising $2000 to help local pet owners spay and neuter their cats and dogs. This fundraiser is focused specifically on owned animals, the pets sleeping on couches, riding in trucks, guarding front porches, and growing up alongside children. When we help families fix their pets, we prevent accidental litters before they ever happen. That means: • Fewer unwanted puppies and kittens • Fewer animals surrendered • Fewer strays on rural backroads • Less pressure on small rescues and shelters Spay and neuter is the most powerful way to stop overpopulation at its source. One surgery today prevents hundreds of future homeless animals.
Help Us Afford a Safe Quarantine Space for Rescue Animals At MeBo’s Animal Rescue, every life matters. Especially the sick, injured, and vulnerable ones who have nowhere else to go. Right now, when we intake animals, we urgently need a dedicated quarantine space to safely separate them from our healthy rescues. This protects everyone from contagious illness and gives new arrivals a quiet, low-stress place to decompress, receive medical care, and begin healing. We’re raising funds to purchase a simple 8x12’ shed that will serve as our official quarantine area in our backyard. The fundraiser goal includes the purchase of containment and isolation holding spaces. It also covers the purchase of a solar system to provide power to the unit. This small unit will make a huge difference. It will allow us to safely intake more animals, prevent the spread of disease, and operate more professionally as we continue growing our 501(c)(3) rescue here in rural Texas. This isn’t just a shed. It’s containment. It’s safety. It’s second chances. If you believe every animal deserves proper care and a real shot at life, please consider donating or sharing our fundraiser. Every dollar brings us closer to creating a safer rescue environment. Together, we can build something that saves lives. MeBo’s
