My name is Joan, and I am reaching out for help during a very difficult time in my life. At 70 years old, I am facing financial distress after taking out four loans to repair a vehicle my dad recently purchased for me. He had planned to send money to cover the repairs, but sadly, he passed away before he could. Now, my small social security benefits are not enough to cover these loans, and I have fallen two months behind on rent, electric, and other essential bills.
On top of these financial challenges, I am also surviving my fourth cancer. Stability is crucial for me to keep going, and I am doing my best to care for my four beloved cats, who are my companions and comfort. I have applied for low income housing and section 8, but the waiting lists are years long, and most places will not allow my cats. My dream is to find a small one-bedroom house for $700 or less, where I can live safely with my cats and regain some peace of mind.
I am asking for contributions to help pay off the loans, catch up on rent and utilities, and provide a stable home for myself and my cats. Your support would mean the world to me and help me get back on my feet. Thank you for reading my story and considering a donation.
