My name is Joan. I'm a 70-year-old female, a 3-time cancer patient, and currently on my 4th, trying to live on a very small SS. I'm now in a financial crisis and unable to pay rent or bills. I had to do a title loan and a few smaller loans to fix my car, and now I'm in a mess I can't get out of.

I will be evicted by the first of August. I have 4 cats that will not survive. I'm on the waiting list for low-income housing, but it's years before I would be eligible. I've tried every option possible, and no help. I don't know what else to do.

I'm humiliated that it's come to this, but most of all, being homeless and losing everything and my pets. Please find it in your hearts to help me. I just need to be free of the loans, then I can get back on track and be able to pay rent and electric again myself. PLEASE help.
