<div>It has been seven months since the war started, and I have not been able to see my children. I am stranded in the northern part of the city while my sons are in the south. After their homes were destroyed, they moved south, and now the blockade prevents any movement between our areas. Text messages, though infrequent, have become our only means of sharing our longing and pain.

We find ourselves drowning in need and despair, without hope of realizing our dreams. Amid these harsh circumstances, thoughts of surrender and defeat haunt us, yet we cling to hope and resilience.

Help Reunite our Family from Gaza

<div>I am Jacob, an 18 year old high school student who had his left (and dominant) hand amputated at the age of 9 due to a medical condition known as klippel-trenaunay syndrome and as of today (the 13th of September, 2022) I am working my way towards getting myself a working prosthesis to replace the hand and forearm I've lost. Since the condition rendered my left hand useless from birth I have never really known what it's like to have 2 normal functioning hands and desperately want to know what everyone else experiences every day such as tying my own shoelaces, swimming, clapping, driving and going to the gym like a normal person, however the specialist I saw today informed me that I am not covered by the NDIS (National disability insurance scheme) despite living in Australia for 17 years and even losing my hand here and as such have to pay for the prosthetic arm using money out of my own pocket. This is a difficult challenge as the cost of the hardware, software and training/physio is around 150,000 Australian dollars and I am an unemployed highschool student who is struggling to find a job, that's why I have decided to organise this gofundme as I do not wish to put my parents through the stress of not being able to support their eldest son during an event that they feel responsible for. Whether you simply share this message or donate a couple cents I will be forever grateful. The prosthetic that the set goal is aiming for is quite possibly the most advanced prosthetics on the public market and are manufactured by a New Zealand company known as TASKA prosthetics and will allow me to do so much and experience everything I've wanted to do as a kid like learn an instrument or finally do a pushup. Please help an amputee afford a prosthesis

TRUE STORY and happening as you read this...Every night Farmer Johnny will go to this dirt patch and water it to make it Green. This is to give him hope that one day the dirt will turn into grass and he can feed his farm animals...Winter is here and the frost will be just as bad and hardly anything will grow...very sad. <br /><br />He is a loving husband and devoted father of 2 boys and once I met him and his family I knew I just couldn’t sit and do nothing!<br /><br />This money will help with petrol and other expenses, as him and his wife travel 1,100km a week to go and get stock waste from Bakeries &amp; Fruit Shops and he will be able to help feed his farm animals...every week he has to sell something to survive.<br /><br />To make things extra hard Farmer Johnny broke his leg not long ago. His wife is doing the driving to pick up waste as well as her wood deliveries. The pressure keeps mounting, but this family doesn’t give up. During winter time, they cut wood to make money and this winter will be a struggle.<br /><br />Every single dollar helps, so please spread the word and let’s get some donations organised which will help keep the roof over their children’s head and food on the table for Farmer Johnny and his family!

We were displaced more than 20 times, fleeing death again and again, losing everything we owned. We spent months in torn tents that couldn’t protect us from the cold of winter or the heat of summer. Day after day, our hearts are torn apart by loss. I have lost more than 30 members of my family in this war.
