Save Farah’s family from the hardships of war

My name is Farah. I’m a 20-year-old artist and singer from Gaza.

For the past two years, I have lived through hell under relentless war, mass destruction, and suffocating famine, while the world watched in silence. We were displaced more than 20 times, fleeing death again and again, losing everything we owned. We spent months in torn tents that couldn’t protect us from the cold of winter or the heat of summer. Day after day, our hearts are torn apart by loss. I have lost more than 30 members of my family in this war.

I once dreamed of becoming a graphic designer. I studied hard and graduated high school with a 97% score. But before I could start my university journey, my dreams were completely shattered. I am no longer chasing ambitions I’m simply fighting to survive this ongoing nightmare.

My father is elderly and sick. He lost one of his eyes due to a war injury and is in desperate need of treatment and care. My family consists of 20 people, including children, pregnant women, and orphans. And I at just 20 years old carry a responsibility far beyond my strength, doing everything I can to care for them and provide even the most basic needs.

I am dying silently every day.

Life has become unbearably heavy on my heart. We’ve been thrown back into the Stone Age. Even the simplest things like bread or clean water have become miracles. We fight, and sometimes die, just to get a single loaf of bread.

As an artist and singer, I used to believe that my voice could bring beauty and hope to the world. Today, I only hope that my voice can be heard that someone, somewhere, will feel our pain and help us survive.

I need someone to carry my voice to the world. Someone who feels my pain and stands beside me. Anyone who can extend a hand of help, even in the smallest way.
