<div>My name is Roberto Contreras, and I wanted to make this post to help support my mom, as we have recently received hard news and are trying to keep our hopes and spirits high.<strong> She was recently diagnosed with stage three cervical cancer</strong>, and with this news, she has been unable to work or go out without feeling pain or discomfort, as well as dizziness, among many other symptoms. My older brothers and I have been taking care of her and the expenses, but it's not something we can face on our own, and while we're making our efforts, we as a family would greatly appreciate any help we can get. My two older brothers work and help out as much as they can with the things she need, but things like meds, copayments, gas to go to/from the hospital, groceries, it all adds up and piles onto the anxiety of facing something so unexpected and unpredictable. She has gone above and beyond for us countless times, and has always been in our corner when we needed her, sacrificing her time and energy, and now we want to do the same for her. <strong>Anything helps, and if you cannot donate, that is more than okay, but we would greatly appreciate sharing this around so others may know and help if possible. <div>First, would like to thank you personally to all the donations, prayers and shares to the GFM. I have made the decision to leave it open, at this time, as we've gotten word from doctors he is looking at numerous more surgeries and we're going to have to build a ramp and get a wheelchair for when he is able to be released and that date is unknown. He is very grateful and this has taken a lot of the financial worry off of him as he continues to progress. Again we send our deepest appreciation and overwhelmed with the generosity everyone has shown.

<div>His progress is slow at this time we're praying this too will get better. He had developed some blood clots and the doctors are on top of that. I believe they're going to do the leg and foot surgeries before the multiple arm surgeries. He is keeping his spirits up as much as possible and thanks to all this generous donations and TT family it's really helped in that area as well. You all are amazing to say the least.
