My name is Roberto Contreras, and I wanted to make this post to help support my mom, as we have recently received hard news and are trying to keep our hopes and spirits high. She was recently diagnosed with stage three cervical cancer, and with this news, she has been unable to work or go out without feeling pain or discomfort, as well as dizziness, among many other symptoms. My older brothers and I have been taking care of her and the expenses, but it's not something we can face on our own, and while we're making our efforts, we as a family would greatly appreciate any help we can get. My two older brothers work and help out as much as they can with the things she need, but things like meds, copayments, gas to go to/from the hospital, groceries, it all adds up and piles onto the anxiety of facing something so unexpected and unpredictable. She has gone above and beyond for us countless times, and has always been in our corner when we needed her, sacrificing her time and energy, and now we want to do the same for her.
