My dog and I are currently homeless, facing each day with uncertainty and worry. After losing our place to live, we've been struggling to find safe shelter and a stable environment. Being on disability makes it even harder to afford a place to stay, and I don't have enough to rent anything. My dog is my companion and family, and keeping us together and safe is my top priority. I'm hoping to raise enough funds to buy a camper, which would give us a secure place to call home and help us get back on our feet. Having a camper would mean we could stay together, have shelter from the elements, and start rebuilding our lives with dignity. Your support would help cover the cost of the camper and basic necessities for both of us, including food and care for my dog. I'm asking for people to have the heart that Jesus gave us to care about helping our fellow man. Any help, big or small, will make a difference in our lives. Then, when I came to the table with an offer for a home, they turned me down because of the amount I had and what I get each month. They said that I had to have more than I had! I'm a 53-year-old lady and I sold my home to turn around and buy another one. I’ve been paying on my home that I had for 10 years so that I could buy another. I have the down payment; as far as closing fees, I was approved through Rocket Mortgage. Then they turned around after giving me a pre-approval letter and everything. Whenever I came to the drawing board with the house, they decided not to approve me, so I am homeless now. I am trying to raise up some money so that I can get me a home.
