- I'm a 53-year-old lady and I sold my home to turn around and buy another one. I’ve been paying on my home that I had for 10 years so that I could buy another. I have the down payment; as far as closing fees, I was approved through Rocket Mortgage. Then they turned around after giving me a pre-approval letter and everything. Whenever I came to the drawing board with the house, they decided not to approve me, so I am homeless now.
