Keeping Kate
Donation protected
Hi Guys,
As many of you will be aware, one of our former colleagues and a very dear friend to many at O2 Kate Douglas has been battling Cancer since 2012.
Despite the seriousness of her worsening illness, Kate has been nothing short of an inspiration to many of us and has always managed to stay positive about the situation and face the battle head on.
Unfortunately Kate has had the worst possible news and her doctors have told her that without treatment she will not make it to Christmas.
Kate has one last hope. An operation and treatment overseas which will cost a lot of money that Kate just doesn’t have.
Many of us in O2 really want to help Kate to spend many more years with her family for Christmas which is why I am reaching out to the wider business.
Those who know Kate may have already made a personal contribution to her page however I am hoping we can give one final push to get that one step closer to her fund raising target, for the people that don’t know Kate please have a read of her story and hopefully you will understand why this is so important to reach her target.

THE ASK
From today I ask each and every one of you that when you come across your first new five pound note that you donate this towards Kates page it is a small ask that could have a massive impact on Kates future, obviously it doesn’t have to be the actual five pound note so once you come across one if you could just visit this page https://www.gofundme.com/keepingKate-o2 and make the donation that would be appreciated.
I have set up an ambitious target of £10K which means in order to hit this we need 2000 people to donate £5 which I think is achievable, obviously time is against us on this so I urge you all to search your wallets and purses to find those “fivers” if I can ask you all to share and like this page once you have donated that would be great.
