Walking Against Cancer

Donation protected
Last year, we, a group of 15 year old boys from Steiner Academy Hereford canoed 90 miles down the River Wye, from Glasbury near Hay-on-Wye, through Hereford, Ross-on-Wye and Monmouth, finishing just before Chepstow in Brockweir, over course of 6 nights to raise money for Cancer Research UK. Together, with everyone's incredible support, we managed to far surpass our goal and raise £5,460! We couldn't believe it.
This year, we're going further.

We're lacing up our boots and taking on 120 miles of the Southwest Coastal Path, which is one of the most beautiful places to walk in the UK, to once again raise as much as we can for Cancer Research UK. We chose this cause because it's personal. Most of us have had family members, loved ones and even pets affected by cancer. For me, my mum passed away from cancer in 2020, the week before the Covid lockdown.

Our message and aim is to raise as much money as we can for Cancer Research to try and prevent other families from going through what some of us went through.

Last year we got backed by so many amazing people and community's like Yourherefordshire and the Monmouthshire beacon, and we're so appreciative of that. This year, we're asking you to back us again, and help us go even further.
Every single donation, no matter the size, means the world to us. Thank you.
